M/F/M Romance
I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.

Talia is finally in a place where she feels that she can go home proud of what she does. She seems to have a complex about her family. However, she also has this incredible attraction to her partners, Drake and Fletcher.

Drake and Fletcher are attracted to Talia and want more than just their business deal. She is smart, funny and sexy and both know that they will never be more complete without her.

At the conference where they have launched their own line, the attraction comes to a head. Their chemistry is pretty high but this is an insta-love story that just was too quick. The development was lacking - there was an incident in a hotel restaurant and despite the explanation, it was all too quickly covered in sexual attraction.

Overall, while the sexual chemistry was hot, the story was not very developed.

I'm averaging out my feelings here, but maybe one and a half would be more appropriate. This book was labeled as romance, but it probably should have been labeled as erotica. To be fair, I suspected that from the summary. But the extent of which it would I didn't honestly expect.

First off, the writing style is odd. The story starts with a huge info dump about Talia's early life and her abusive relationship with her parent-approved boyfriend and her family's issues with abuse being just a thing that happens in all relationships. The information itself isn't bad, but the info dumping is unnecessary. Sadly, it's still one of the best parts of the book. Talia here sounds mostly like an adult. For the rest of the book, she sounds like a imbecile. I hate when adult women are portrayed as child-like and naive. I especially hate when said woman has a high-ranking position in a major company. (I think she's an advertising exec but I'm not sure we're told). There's no fucking way she would have gotten such a job with such silly behavior.

Secondly, I don't know how to say this nicely so I'm just gonna say it: The writing is messy. This is going to sound mean, but the style is also silly and scattered, so maybe it's not just Talia's character that made her like that. Bad writing may not make or break a story--it often depends on how bad it is, how good the characters and plot are, and how much bullshit you have to get through to get to the stuff you might like. In this case I'm not sure I liked any of it. The first half wasn't the worst ever; the second half alternately cringe-worthy and boring. I'm having a hard time pinning down what exactly I hated about the writing other than what I've already said: very nonsensical and silly.

Third, I don't understand what we're supposed to find attractive about Fletcher and Drake. I was never able to tell them apart, and they were never given enough personality to care about them. I guess as a sexual fantasy come to life, it might be fine, but I don't really find "generic handsome businessmen" to be a fantasy of mine. I also am not very good at picturing people from stories so that doesn't help. If that's a fantasy of yours--handsome guys with no discernible personality that lives solely for making their girl happy--maybe this will work you. It doesn't work for me. More than that, Fletcher and Drake often seemed very pushy to me and I don't find that attractive.

And finally, the sex. Written erotica is a hit or miss thing. It's hard to describe genitals in a sexy way, and it's even harder to write multiple sex scenes in a row. The sex is this book doesn't read well, but it's not worse than other ones I've read. It just didn't work for me.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

This is part of a series, and a prequel to the next novel - it is a hot introduction to Talia, Drake and Fletcher's future. Set over a few days at an exhibition for their new range of products, we get a lot of angst from Talia about even thinking about these two men. She has heard their reputation for sharing a woman, and now they are spending a few days together away from the office.

There were for me some things which rather detracted from the story - because they seemed obvious and yet she didn't think of them ... would she really not know where she was going to be staying, for example? We do spend a lot of time with her inner monologue - and if she had been so conditioned by her family and her ex, then why would she put herself in that position anyway? I have a feeling that I like my female characters with more backbone, or at least consistency.

It was a quick easy read and did a good job of portraying the uncertainty of someone tempted by a work romance, but also not keen on ruining their career.

This new spin off taking us on a journey with Talia re-energizes the series for me. I really liked how we left off with Michael and Margaux, but this is a completely fresh perspective, story and level of depth and intensity. Definitely a good refresh.

We knew very little about Talia’s backstory so far. We know that there was a moment in time that she was living in Killian’s apartment in Chicago but no understanding as to why. We got a sense that there was a boyfriend that wasn’t the best to her but that’s really it. So here we get a great intro to that bit.

The nice way that our authors wrote this one is that we get a glimpse into the past by about a year – seeing how things happened to get us to current day. Talia’s from a very traditional family that has expectations about how she is to live, whom she shall live it with and etc etc. So, when that doesn’t work out the way that people want, since she’s not willing to accept being abused, she’s forced to flee. Thank goodness for the Stones right?

Killian’s two buddies that we met in books past, Drake and Fletcher make an appearance in a big way here. They are not just his best friends but they play an important role in his business. This is where the path crosses for Talia as they are all working closely on the cosmetics brand launch.

Drake and Fletcher don’t just have a strong friendship, they are almost the same person. They share the same interests and most of the time the same woman. So, imagine the drama that can and will ensue when they set their sites on Talia.

The journey that they take is one that’s heated, intense, spicy, and full of so much unknown that you have no choice but to read and read quickly. Talia knows that she’s attracted to them but she’s so guarded and shy that there’s a wonder if these men will ever succeed in their goal. The guys are quite possibly two of the most attractive yet sensitive men on the planet and while they have raunchy reputations, they never push too far for anything.

There’s a scene at the beginning of the book that i’m still trying to sort out as whether it was real or a dream, and i think that it’s a dream – but a very hot and intense one. Very foreshadowing to what could be if allowed.

The way they interact is seamless and steamy, but there are so many reasons why it can’t happen. Talia’s family would never be ok with her choices, and there is the concern of the implication to Talia’s professional reputation. She doesn’t want anyone to think that she got to where she is because of their relationship and she doesn’t want to be judged by her friends. The challenge of course is that there’s a chemistry that can’t be denied.

So while progress is made in this fifth installment, i’m not sure that we’ve made enough. Their story is only just beginning now and i can’t wait to see where it goes.

No! Just No.

The heroine was such a spineless doormat I just couldn’t .
I made it about three chapters or 20%. This story is cut up kinda strange .
Deep breath.
Sorry, feeling frustrated. Going through a bit of a bad/disappointing spell w/books lately and I was just hoping this would be soo much better than it was.
Yeah, yeah I know I didn’t I didn’t make it fat. True.
But when the heroine is basically a browbeaten doormat who goes against what little self-preservation instinct she has, even after she’s made promises to her some what narcissistic friends.
I’m looking at you Margaux .
To let them know the minute emotional abuse goes where it almost always does. Physical abuse. She promises to let them know .
Snorts.
Yeah, right. This browbeaten, spineless, little doormat mouse ,takes it up the everywhere,to please ppl who don’t give a rats blank about her,til she’s almost beaten to death.
Friends finally come to the “rescue” .
What happens almost a year later when she’s “supposedly “ gotten her fool head finally screwed back on . Well slightly .
Maybe.
Anyway,Talia is looking around at all the love that seems to be in the air and is a bit jealous .
She feels left out . I get that. Been there . Felt that. Way too often. So it only makes sense she’s wanting some of that for herself . By all means girl! Go and get it !
But
But before you start running headlong after some man or men I’d your soo blessed . Go make sure you’ve ceased your doormat ways and learned from your past mistakes and healed from your past. Join the “Society foe recovering Doormats”.
Last I checked it’s a real thing on FB.
Don’t go lusting after too men when all you seem to know about them is how sexy they are .
WTH?!?!?
Is this really what a girl like her would do ? Spend over a year going against her own instincts to make others happy til she’s almost killed then start lusting after guys who just have their looks going for them ?
I’d think a woman/girl who’s been thru what she would be more interested in personality.if I’d been thru that I’d want a man who I was attracted to sure . But, I’m gonna be looking for a kind heart, someone who make me feel safe. Not my panties damp. He’d be someone who helped me see special I am ,
Not necessarily how sexy I am.
Now maybe these guys to that but when I was introduced to her friends they seemed caring but shallow . Then I witness a girl ,I can’t and don’t respect ,( it doesn’t matter who they are ,you don’t sacrifice yourself to please others especially when it comes to your safety) almost get herself ,just because.
Then she goes from that to crushing too guys mainly their soo sexy.
This was soo shallow feeling. Despite what happens to the h,it lacked any real depth.
Man,I hope I can get my money back.

So maybe it’s just me or maybe I’m taking my books too seriously but No and Stop should not be used lightly. EVER! Especially in a book billed as a romance.

I especially get pissed off when a female character is written as saying no or stop to bad behavior or unwanted behavior when she clearly doesn’t mean it or is giving off mixed signals. This is an impossible concept for me to accept. If it’s written as harassment or assault, then that’s a valid storyline. It has no place in a romance novel.

The female character appears to have an important job within this company but acts like an innocent, naive young girl. That made no absolutely sense to me. Then we have two highly placed alpha businessmen who fall completely for her. WTF! Anyone who has read previous books in the series knows a little bit about these two men but there is certainly no character development here except for “innocent girl” discovering they are “Sex Gods” even though she has limited sexual experience of which we are reminded several times

I’m definitely in the minority on this book but there were just too many issues that pushed my buttons. This was a disappointment in the series for me. The sex is hot so that might make up for it if you are going for erotica rather than storyline. I expected both since I’ve been reading this series from book one.

Sometimes more is so much more. I so loved this trio and their hot crazy romance. It was hard watching Talia battle her internal critics before letting go and following her heart. She was scared, scarred, and beaten emotionally but, Drake and Fletcher would not let her hide within herself. They adored her and only wanted to make her happy.

She worried that she would just become another notch on their mutual bedpost. But these fantastic men show her that letting go is the most rewarding when you just let yourself live in the moment. This book had my pulse racing and I was grinning at the end. I am highly anticipating the next book to see how this wonderful trio will handle her hardest test...her family.

Affair of the heart X3....

Talia Perizokva comes from a very regimented Russian family that have strict rules when it comes to relationships. This makes Talia very skittish when it comes to her 2 bosses Drake and Fletcher. They are both the most gorgeous men on earth and they have their sights on her.

They all take a business trip to Vegas for SGC to promote their cosmetics line. They all end up getting much more than they bargained for. The passion the 3 of them have together is much more serious that they thought possible. Drake and Fletcher are on board to taking what they have together to the next level, Talia not so much. I look forward to finding out how this all turns out in the next story about this passionate trinity.

All I can say is WOW - the heat has certainly been turned up and after reading this I needed a cigarette. Talia is nervous to attend a business trip with Drake and Fletcher because she wonders if the way they flirt with her in the office actually means something. Once the three are alone in Vegas all bets are off and passion ignites. But is this a simple romp in the hay for the two men who enjoy sharing their women? Or will this be the beginning of something so much more? The spark fly from every page and it left me wanting more - these three characters are the best yet!!

What happens in Vegas is supposed to stay in Vegas? Talia, Drake, and Fletcher go to Vegas for a business trip. But Drake and Fletcher are ready to finally get Talia to themselves. They have been slowly falling for her for months. Talia doesn't believe anyone when they tell her that the guys want her. Even though she is attracted to them both. When things get steamy, Talia starts to have second thoughts because of her upbringing. But can she accept she feels more than attraction.

Talia Perizokva is from a Russian family and community that still lives like they are still in the old country. She however has higher aspirations. After breaking it off with Gavin, the man her family can’t stop singing praises for, but really is the most despicable man, she finds herself drawn to Fletcher Ford and Drake Newland.
Fletcher and Drake are desperate for Talia, but can they get Talia to give their type of love a go?
This book was super steamy!!

Numbers can be lucky

Talia Perizkova, Drake Newland and Fletcher Ford, work together at SGC on their cosmetics line. They travel together to Las Vegas for a weekend convention. While there, they embark on an adventure that could possibly change things between them forever. As always, Angel Payne and Victoria Blue, blew me away with this one.

This is the book to read if you have ever had fantasies about being with two loving men. Talia is with Drake and Fletcher for work but during their weekend in Vegas things change for them in pleasant ways. You can feel all the raw emotions Talia is struggling with and you can feel what all of that is doing to the guys.

Whew. Okay, I know I keep saying, "This book is the best book in the series," but this one really is! I am so head over heels for Talia, Fletcher and Drake. The shortest book in the SOS books doesn't lack for anything. The steam is off the charts and it has a wonderful story line! No Lucky Number is a must read. I can't wait to dig into the next.

Wow,may have spoilers.

This is certainly a page Turner! It's enticing and captivating. Talia is strong, independent and has the voice of her family in her head telling her what to do, since they are from a different country. Drake and Fletcher are helping her find her voice and her way. The love triangle is taboo to her,but she is following her heart.

I enjoyed this short story about 3 characters that had small parts in the other books from this series.

But I could only get it as an audiobook from the library. The narrator talks in a breathy whisper and I had to turn the volume high to even hear half of what she was saying. The story & writing deserve a 4 star but her voice makes it a 3 star read for me.

There was a bit of character development. But for a series that dedicated multiple books to the same couples I may confused why this is a novella... I liked it well enough. Not sure how I feel about Talia though. Maybe there will be another book dedicated to this group later.
