We used this book for my graduate level 21st Century Teaching class. I read the first half of the book and found it to be very insightful about how the modern classroom has been shaped by technology, and how the population of leaners is more diverse than ever and growing up as digital natives. It really put into perspective why the old ways won't work anymore. I also skimmed the second half about the instructional models, and found it to be equally as useful by in depth explaining each model and how to incorporate it into classroom practice. Also, the part about TPACK and how teachers need knowledge of technology, pedagogy, and content, instead of just throwing an app into a lesson was very insightful. Overall, a well-written text that I used in class, and could find many ways to incorporate into my classroom practice.
