Sometimes, power is more of a curse than a blessing.

Everything changed the day I met the Patton triplets. I found myself whipping through the air on a veritable roller coaster, with highs so amazing, I wasn’t sure I’d survive it and dark tunnels that sucked away my will to fight. But they were always there to bring me back from the brink.

With the threat of exposure hanging over my head, I had no choice but to become a test subject, a scientific experiment forced to perform like a circus monkey and donate tubes of blood weekly. I performed without complaint…for the most part. I was, after all, still me.

Things started to go sideways after a visit to The Divine Church of Purity, a cult-like religious group that had one purpose: rid the world of Alts. The web of secrets and lies surrounding the good doctor began to unravel just before he injected me with…something. Remember that roller coaster I mentioned before? That was the moment I hit the drop dive, rolling out into a corkscrew I was sure would never end.

Alt abilities more diverse, more powerful and more dangerous began to emerge and I found myself on the run. Whether I was running from the doctor, the human population, or myself, I had no idea. But I did know one thing.

No cost was too great. I would go as far as it took to protect my family and my boys, even if it meant protecting them from me.

Despite the continuation of the storyline which is interesting. This story is quickly loosing its steam. Our FMC has been injected with an unknown substance by the Evil Dr. It has brought about more Alt type powers which the Evil Dr seems to want to use to further his religious zealot purposes. I found that I was more irritated by certain risks the MCs were taking that seemed slightly immature. They seem more upset about wanting to know exactly whats going on, than by the seriousness of their situation, the actual blackmail into scientific experimentation of a person. They also seem to play off the seriousness a lot to "have fun" because its their senior year......I understand breaking up the seriousness of the situation with humorous scenes however blowing the whole thing off to pick it up later seems pretty irresponsible. Also now that the FMC's secret has been revealed to the world via the media you would think that the Evil Dr. would loose some leverage but no. That doesn't seem to lessen the blackmail at all. I think mostly the MC's frustrated me because their actions in the situation seems a little illogical.

YESSSSS you show him Savanna from Savanna!!!! To be continued..... Now I have to wait for a third book?!?!?!? Is that hopefully sooner than later? (Secretly crossing my fingers) I was given the opportunity to receive an ARC and oh man was I excited. I mean I thought I had to wait until July 13th. Maybe you are thinking that's less than a month but to me, it might as well have been ten years. The first book left me wanting more but this book just yanked me in. I mean why why why did I have to fall in love with Wyatt, Beckett, and Jett? I now have to wait for the third book to come out to get even more of them..... or I could just reread the series. I mean I haven't been this starstruck in forever. Actually, maybe I have been when I first read Twilight. (did you see what I did there? Totally loved that part by the way.) I can't wait to see what the third book holds and see how their relationship grows!!!

I finished it, yay me!

I absolutely hate Savanna. I find her annoying and unlikable. She whines and cries a lot for someone who always considered herself strong. She's stupid and keeps putting herself further and further in danger and just making the situation worse. I came up with the plot as soon as she went to church with the uncle so why couldn't she? The relationship with the Patton brothers feels rushed and unrealistic, although I actually like them. I normally don't leave reviews if I don't like the books but I couldn't let this book get away with all the positive reviews that lead readers astray. I was thinking of reading the next just to finish off the series but I'm good.

I knew that Dr was up to no good. I really hope they all get the better of him. Recommend the series; a good weekend read for sure.

Too juvenile

This series is too juvenile. Why authors make Rh books about teenagers I will never understand. With the plot and the author's storytelling I would have given it five stars had it been written with adults.

No thank you.

Well everything I liked about the first book was gone. Savanna's bitchiness was gone she just rolled over and did as she was told. The fact she wouldn't leave was beyond stupid. Her parents did nothing and when they finally did savanna stopped them. I saw what the uncle wanted from a mile away and they still never figured it out.

A diamond in the rough

I love the paranormal-fantasy genre and as soon as I finish a book I am in search of another.I love the Vampire genre ,however I think I have read almost every book ,series dealing with that story line.I have branched out and started reading books about shifters, wolves, fairies and other mythological creatures and beings, that's how I came across this "Diamond in the rough " This book was amazing! Wendi Wilson took a relatively taboo subject and made a beautiful love story , but also made it seem acceptable and clean( for lack of a better word in this moment,no judgement intended) She also made the main character a strong, resilient ,independent, smart ,yet vulnerable women and projected the need for her" loves" in a way that didn't make her seem needy, insecure or unhealthy. You never got the impression that her choices were anything but her own, hmmmm until they weren't!!!! Teaser..I don't want to give away to much and be a spoiler because I could write a book in itself on how amazing this series and the Author,Wendi Wilson is.This book though fiction, is one that could almost be believable ,but I can guarantee that if you enjoy this genre this book is so worth checking out.Amazing story and more Amazingly the he author...Rachel

*SPOILERS*

Events that take place in this book, I mean it was painfully obvious who the villain is. Heck, I predicted back in the first book that Fiona wasn’t persuadable and that Lizzie was behind the recordings. Really, a lot of this book was so incredibly predictable that it was difficult to get through the book. Oh, and it drove me nuts how the group was constantly “We don’t know what his plan is” when it’s again, really freakin predictable considering the group he leads and what he knows of Savanna’s powers.

Also one part in particular really bothered me...
What the heck kind of parent goes out of town when their child is being forced to attend some potentially dangerous religious cult meeting? With the guy who is blackmailing them??? Or doesn’t immediately run away with their child to get them out of the situation of being experimented on by said blackmailing doctor? Just, so much of this book was ridiculous and the characters made so many illogical choices that I was actually getting annoyed.

The concept is definitely interesting, but personally I think it was poorly executed. As it is, I gave this one two stars instead of one because I liked the concept.

I really liked the world that was described and built in book 1 and was hoping that book 2 would be just as good and give more details and background. And I was not disappointment. It delivered a great story and combined teenage storytelling with more intense scenes and spirit as Brother Earl is crazy in book 1 and lets more of his true feelings be exposed in this one. I liked how Savannah and her boys still have a believable relationship, meaning they get mad at each other, fight and make up again. There is more sexual scenes in this one but it is more PG and inferred then blatant in your face. Heavy scenes fade to black. I love that it fits in with the story and did not distract from it. But the basic story line was awesome and kept me reading to the end to see what would happen next and what crazy thing or threat Earl would say or do next. Loved the suspense, crazy, and minor twist that made the story great. I devoured it in one sitting and chose to review. Cannot wait to see what happens next.

While i enjoyed this book and finished it, i spent the majority of the time wishing it was over already. I like the heroine and her three alts, i just couldnt handle how much drama there was. Uncle Earl was doing my head in with how much leverage he had on Savanna and her boys. They couldn’t catch a break at all. It lent a feeling of suffocation and a loss of will that translated to me so heavily that i resented reading this book after the first half of the story.
The way things were spiralling out of control, how savannas life suddenly went from 0-100 super fast was good for the story but I personally didnt like it. I want people to be happy, not constantly have to hurt their loved ones and be under someone’s control to the point where they say jump and you say how high. I couldn’t take that loss of control over her own life and autonomy and decisions that savanna was experiencing, it was super unfair how Uncle Earl thought he could do anything to her.
Im making a decision not to read the third book.

***MILD SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ BOOK ONE***

Intrigue. Secrets. Betrayal. Savanna and the Patton brothers must overcome it all in Purify, the second book in Wendi L. Wilson's latest, heart-pounding, RH series.
Purify picks up right where book one left off. Savanna is forced to act as the evil doctor's guinea pig for fear of being exposed for what she really is, an Alt who has remained unidentified her entire life. Savanna and her boys continue to grow closer while enemies work against them. Someone is spying on Savanna, determined to make her life a living hell as secrets are revealed and she and the boys are forced to face the consequences head on.
I'm so excited for book 3. I can't wait to see what happens to Savanna, Wyatt, Jett, and Becket (my fav Patton bro. <3).
Pick up this series NOW! You won't regret it.

I love “Savanna from Savanah” and the Patton brothers! I really enjoyed Purify, the second book in the Blood Persuasion series.
The relationship dynamic between the four main characters is beautiful and loving. I don’t do spoiler reviews, but the reverse harem element got a touch more intense (which was too be expected) and I was not disappointed in how it all worked out!
This was a rollercoaster of plot twists and turns and even some completely upside down surprises. Plus the mad scientist and cults coming ou to play was so much fun to experience. It was an engaging and exciting read from start to finish and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Savanna and the brothers next!

I love all the Patton brothers!!! (I just had to get that off my chest before starting my review for Purify)
The relationship dynamic these four characters have is utterly heartwarming. Without spoiling too much... the temperature went up a notch (which was too be expected) and I was not disappointed!
I fricken loved the twists in this book and the suspense! It was an intense roller coaster from start to finish and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Savanna and the brothers in the next book!

The second installment of this series had me totally engaged. I was eager to see where the story would go. I appreciated that this book was longer than the first book. It allowed me to see more details of the characters lives. It was awesome to see how the author developed the characters. The plot continued to keep me on my toes. I was so engrossed in the story. I would absolutely recommend these books if you like a good YA with a sci-fi twist. Will be waiting in anticipation for the last book.

Great book. Dr. Patton is still doing experiments on Savanna. The boys are still trying to protect her. The doctor is taking blood from her and making her Persuade the 3 boys now. I find out I'm an ALT too. Dr. Patton is ahead of The Divine Church of Purity. Why does the doctor keep taking blood from me? Why does he make Savanna persuade the boys? What is this Church about? Who keep taking videos of me? How can they find out what is really going on? I received an ARC copy for my honest review.

Imagine continuously not knowing who you are or what you’ll do...

Under the demands of the doctor responsible for Savanna’s initial transformation, she discovers that not everything is as it seems including herself. Armed with the support of her three men she continues to wade through the trials of her senior year with eyes always on her.

This book is an excellent continuation of the first book in the series. You truly feel the struggles and emotions that they all feel.

A great paranormal YA book.

A fantastic continuing of a story that I got hooked on at word one. Savanna is a take no nonsense kid of girl and her Alt triplets stand by her through everything. I don't do spoilers but I have to say the author handled a possible trigger situation with grace and sensitivity that make for an easy to swallow situation. This story picks up just a couple months after the end of book 1 and jumps right into the action. A great read.

I surprisingly really like this series. Why is it surprising? BECAUSE ITS SO PREDICTABLE. Honestly, I feel like this entire book follows a formula and everyone has read it. Honestly, its not hard to figure out what is going to happen next. Its never a surprise for me. Still, I like this book and series. I like the main characters and their interactions. The writing is easy to read - not too wordy and not many mistakes. It flows well. A solid 4 star read.

Another thrilling, twisted, and enjoyable addition to this series! I loved how I was hooked from the first page, I couldn't put it down until I'd finished it. There's scheming, romance, and more of one of the creepiest and most despicable villains ever (he rivals Umbridge in dislike). I found myself shifting between love for the Patton brothers and suspense at whatever awaited the characters next. The story is exceptionally well-written and I love the sci-fi spin on vampires. This is one series you shouldn't miss and I can't wait for the explosive conclusion!

Such a wonderful series!!

It is not like your typical RHB series, this one develops separate relationships between each character and shows the love and respect they all have for one another. And the story and suspense keeps you so enraptured that you wont want to put the series down until your done!

An excellent continuation of the series

So book two was excellent and just as good as the first. There is a lot of things that happen and some of the evil plot has also been revealed. This was written very well, the plot sound and the pace was spot on.

I really liked this book. A completely different take on vampire's "ALTS". The romance continues to be steady we see the development. The story was complex and intriguing new people to not trust.. and few new friends. Cant wait for the next book.

Sneaky little sneak

I really like this installment. I liked the direction the book went in. I wanted to throttle Dr Patton through the whole book though. Even still I can’t wait for how they will handle what comes next.

bruh i could not keep reading this like the plot was so cringy at times and i did not like the fmc character at all. there was really no saving grace for this book because not only was the plot not interesting but the mcs were boring and the romance was practically nonexistent.

Wasn't bad, but I found I was kind of bored by the end. There are no actual sex scenes in this book and as much as I love sweet guys who love their girl, this book was missing something between them. Some heat... They never got upset about anything and she could do no wrong. I just got bored.

Wow

2nd book was just as good as the 1st book. It was touch and go there as Savanna gets stronger thanks to the Uncle. 3rd book sounds like it going to be epic, can't wait.
