Not having read book 1 I wasn't sure if I could just hop into this series. However this was a fun novella that works great as a standalone.
At first I wasn't sure about Caleb, the male MC, because he was obsessed with Abigail and very pushy when she tried to blow him off. She has bigger worries like a teenage brother who has no control over his inner lion and the fact that neither know how to deal with that.
A bit more backstory would have been nice but for a story that's only 124 pages long the characters were developed well enough. The sudden lust Abigail had for Caleb was abrupt but I guess that was the 'mate magic' drawing them together.
All in all a fun read. I might not buy another book in this series but I'll keep an eye out for other freebies from this author.

Irresistible Caleb can't understand why his very successful pick up lines, especially his killer looks aren't working on the new lifeguard Abigail, she keeps telling him to go away and he just can't do it! He looks like a lost puppy everytime he sees her, but nope not happening she wants nothing to do with him. He doesn't even want anything to do with all the girls that are forever eager to jump the body of the hunky guitar player at the clubs his band plays at. What Caleb doesn't know is that Abigail secretly wants to jump his bones, only a terrible family problem keeps her from fulfilling her dreams.
When a breakdown forces her to the Grisly ranch with her brother she sees what Caleb really made of she can't help the desires that rack her and what ensues is mind boggling.

Love this book.
I love Caleb and Abigail. Caleb has never had a problem getting a girl before. When Abigail comes to town he's instantly smitten and she won't given him the time of day. Abigail moved to the country to get her brother out of the city. Abigails little brother turns into a lion people don't do that. Or do they? When the sexy Caleb keeps pestering her she doesn't pay him any attention her brother needs her and they are on there last dime and she's running out of places to go. When she accidentally pulls into the Grizzly ranch and finds Caleb there it could be the solution she's been looking for. I love this series I can't wait for the next book.

A absolutely funny, sensual and captivating book by Kim Fox she is a great, one click of author. I had already pre-ordered this book as soon I saw it on book retailer, of course it's not the first book I have read of Kim Fox's as a matter of fact I have read every book of hers I could get my hands on. This is the kind of book I absolutely enjoy binge reading on. Plus it's quite story with such wonderful and amazing characters that I truly truly enjoy. There is nothing that I can think of that can compare with this book, yes it's in a category unto itself. It's such a believable romance. Abigail and Caleb are the main characters in this story along with previous and new book characters. Abigail is a curvy new lifeguard in town who is busy hiding her younger brother who has a pesky habit of turning into a wild uncontrollable lion. Caleb is a Bear Shifter who sings and plays the guitar in a band. When he meets the new lifeguard in town, he thinks she has the body that can make him want to love her right way. What a FANTASTIC and well written plus very creative read by a truly gifted Kim Fox. It's a enjoyable, sizzling hot chemistry that burns up the pages, along with being a most delightful read. The interaction between the characters is fabulous as they spring to life in this story. I always enjoy how Kim Fox builds the characters passion and writes such vivid scene descriptions. I treasure bear shifters romances, with Drama, Laughter and a touch of suspense. She writes with the most imaginative, creative, fascinating and wonderful characters. She builds a exciting and well-developed world. I am always eager to read how she builds her characters in this book for in the next book. What a excellent book for your TBR list. I enjoy the fact that in the world of shifter romance the possibilities are endless and always fascinating. I enjoy a binge of Kim Fox books. I liked this story as it was a fun read. What I love about this author (and this book proves it), is that she can write the same types of books, but each one is uniquely different.
In this book we have a lifeguard, Abigail, who is over her head with her younger brother, Bryce. Having been forced (though not unwillingly) to care for her fourteen year old brother, who happends to randomly and often, turn into a lion; she is doing the best she can. Quitting her life and moving across the country, Abigail finds a town full of men and women willing to help; she just has to trust them let them in.
Caleb, knows he wants Abigail, but for the life of him he can't figure out why she is keeping her distance. He is bold and determined and the perfect match for her. Events take place and the truth about Bryce is revealed. Once everything is out in the open, the romance and eventual bonding can take place.
This story has some really fun characters, humor, a tiny bit of angst and a world to be explored. I loved reading about each character in this story. I would say that is book is more action packed and slightly less romantic then the first in the series, but no less wonderful. Off to read book three...

3.5 Stars - This is Book 2 in the new series of The Grisly Grizzlies. It is Caleb and Abigail's story. It was very cute and I love the fact that her brother Bryce is dealing with his issues as well. I also loved that all of the other guys are in the story Lachlan, Tito, Ronin, Maximus, Kneecap, Logan, and Jessie. There was a great balance to their participation in the story as well which I truly enjoyed that part.
I have given the Story 3 and 1/2 Stars because I feel that Lachlan and Jessie's story was just so much better. In Caleb's story he didn't appear as strong to me as Lachlan did. It could be because I like my male shifters to be strong and dominant characters. Caleb was just a really "nice guy" no matter what. It reminded me of the phrase "I'm a lover not a fighter".
Abigail, is a strong woman who has taken on helping her younger brother deal with his issues. Unfortunately his issues dominate how she has to live her life. She loves him so much that even though his situation creates problems she does not love him less and that I really loved.

Abigail is a recent resident of Redemption Creek.
She works as a lifeguard.
And she's constantly being hit on by Redemption Creek resident, Caleb.
Abigail doesn't have the luxury of time to flirt with the locals.
As much as she would like to take Caleb up on his advances she's got more pressing matters on her plate.
Abigail is struggling to take care of her little brother Bryce whom changes into a lion.
Poor Abigail has no knowledge of shifters and doesn't know how to help Bryce.
It's lucky that she's unknowingly moved to a shifter town both for Bryce and herself.
Caleb is certainly lucky, because this bear shifter is completely bewitched by Abigail and has no problem letting the whole town know how he feels about the pretty lifeguard.
Now if only he can get her to go out with hin

I am so loving this series! Could Caleb be any more adorable? I really don’t see how. Witnessing the self-proclaimed ladies man absolutely lose his mind over the one woman in town that seemingly wants nothing to do with him is beyond hilarious. His cheesy pick-up lines are truly a thing of beauty. Who would have known that even with his rockin bod and gorgeous face, it would be his big heart that finally won her over. Throw in a little shifter teenage angst, and you’ve got yourselves a winner, folks! This book proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that a story can be heartwarming and endearing while still being hot as hell and funny as well. Seriously? What more could you ask for? I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a sweet, sexy, and utterly enthralling read.

Caleb couldn't keep his eyes or mind off the gorgeous lifeguard. He tried everything, even corny pickup lines supplied by his friends--maybe not with those lines. She wouldn't even talk to him--that is until she did. Long enough to hand him her whistle and tell him to watch the beach she had an emergency.
She sure did. Her little brother who wasn't so little. He was not only in trouble, he could just be putting them both in it.
Caleb is a big bad grizzly shifter. And a real sweetheart. She can't see it because she has too much on her shoulders. When there doesn't seem to be a way out could he be her salvation? That is until she learns he's more than a man. Would she be just getting deeper by accepting his help?
This is a short read that will leave you smiling. Don't miss it.

Here you find the story of a shifter who thinks he's god's gift to any female he chooses. But, wait a minute, Abigail doesn't fit that bill. She's more concerned with helping her shifter brother Bryce deal with the powerful lion that lurks inside him. Abigail and him are siblings but where is the background for his father. This is never addressed and the mystery of Bryce's lion is never really answered. This is the one fault I find lacking in this story. But as far as Caleb and Abigail go the story was good. Mutual infatuation is met, other characters of The Grisly Grizzlies are met, Kneecap's history is delved into, a new group of shifters of Clayton Rock Ranch (bounty hunters) are introduced which includes the heavy of this story Mack. This is my honest review for the ARC I received.

Caleb is a were bear shifter living in Redemption Creek Montana with a crew of were bear shifters. He only has eyes for Abigail now that he meet her. She us the new life guard against the lake. But she will not give him the time of day. That's never happened to him before and this girl is special . He just knows it.
Abigail thinks Caleb is hot but can't let him get close she has a problem. Her 14 year old brother her mom just dropped off on her can change into a lion and they didn't know anything about it or how to deal with it.
I love this story . The characters are awesome. Story it great so full of action, drama, spice, comedy, twist and turns plus more. I couldn't put it down and I didn't want it to be over!

This is the second book in this series that has drama, romance, action, suspense, amusing scenes, violence, camaraderie and heated passion. This isn’t your usual tale of shifter love (even though it is). This one shows the love of a human sister towards her teenage shifter brother who is just coming into his own. Neither one of them know how to deal with the lion half. Enter Caleb who is a shifter bear interested in Abigail, who is trying to hide her brothers secret.
I look forward to more heat and adventure in Redemption with this new crew, but the best part is this story really focuses on love & family. Kudo’s to Kim Fox for such a great story.

Okay...Redemption Creek is proving to be a great place to live. Maybe it's because it close to Colwood or maybe it's because there are some hunky shifters living there. Caleb is one of those shifters, although his "hunkiness" isn't helping him get the girl he wants. He can't even get in the "friend-zone" with her. Abigail is new to town. The guy that keeps hitting on her is cute but she doesn't have time for a relationship because her brother's "issue" keeps her busy. Moving to Redemption Creek was supposed to help Bryce but how do they go about finding someone to help? Imagine Abigail's surprise when she realizes Caleb may just what she was looking for.

So she asks the man that has been stalking her, Caleb to watch over the crowd so she can go home early. Her younger brother Bryce, has caused some trouble at home and Frank has kicked them out, they have until morning to find a new place to live. This is the second book in this series and it is just as great as the first. I really enjoyed reading this story and love between Abigail and Caleb turns into a strong relationship. I gave this book a five star because it kept my interest and it’s a page-turner. I received an ARC and have voluntarily left a review.

Caleb! Caleb! Caleb!
He may not be as "alpha" as most shifters I've read about, but it sure doesn't make him any less brave. He uses some of the cheesiest pick up lines on Abigail, but you can't help but love him! He's funny and absolutely adorable. If he wasn't Caleb, his actions could have been perceived as a bit creepy and stalkerish, but he's just ...Caleb. I love seeing him get confused and flustered when he couldn't figure Abigail out! I also loved the way he was there for Abigail's brother, Bryce...so patient and understanding. I did wish for him to be a bit more of a challenge as a fighter because it was little embarrassing reading him get his butt kicked, but he makes up for it in charm. LOL!

Caleb is obessed with Abigail. This rock star shifter has become a little persistent. His a grizzly bear shifter. Enjoyed how him and his friends are with each other.
Bryce might have started a fight or two. But the spitfire young lion needed help. I enjoyed the fact that Abigail tried to help her brother. But also understood what he really needed.
This was a great book about two different relationships. One between a sister and a brother. The other between a possessive male knowing his mate. Good book.

The Grisly Grizzlies: Caleb by Kim Fox is book 2 of her series. Caleb is a grizzly bear shifter and he has fallen for the new lifeguard in town. Little does he know she has secrets that he can't imagine. Abigail is new in town but she land a job as a lifeguard. She needs the job to take care of hard little brother. She didn't have time for anything or anyone else. Her secret has already cost her everything. Can Caleb get her to let him in before it's too late? This storyline is full of energy, family, trust, hope and love. It fits in perfectly with Kim's other books in the would she has created. I received an ARC from the author. Abigail was on the verge of despair with her shifter brother lack of control. But without her knowing, the help and her forever was around the corner. “The one who persevere reaches his goal” seemed that was Caleb’s motto. Win the girl and protect her and her brother no matter what, that were his intentions. What a man! Everything for love! The plot development was intriguing and the male protagonist had the surviving probabilities against him. Liked Caleb’s character and Abigail's understanding and devotion. Action, suspense, amusing scenes, romance, violence, camaraderie and heated passion.

Bryce is a young shifter unable to control the angry shifts of his inner lion causing many problems for his non-shifter sister, Abigail, who is his sole guardian. She falls in love not knowing anything about the town or it's residents, until they shift in order to rescue Bryce. It has a good story line and interesting characters, it isn't quite as good as book one but is still an enjoyable read. I purchased this book based on book one of this series and on other books I read written by Kim Fox

This story jumped right in to the chase for the heart and the shifter. I was completely involved in Abigail and her problems. Caleb was like a huge over ecstatic puppy. You could feel that everything would be fine once Caleb knew what Abigail's problems were. It was just intense waiting until everything worked out. I really found Bryce, Abigail's brother to be quite the young man. I can't wait to watch him grow up alongside the other characters in this town. I quickly devoured the Caleb & Abigail's story.

It's very good.

Caleb, is a stud muffin (at least in his own mind😉)...a lover not a fighter, who has never had an issue getting the girl...until he meets Abigail! She turns down all his advances and he is definitely not used to that happening!
Abigail is raising her teenage brother, or trying to. They have a secret which is hard to hide...she is human and Bryce is an out of control lion shifter!

Oh my goodness...what a fun read! I thought the shifters of Colwood were hot—but these shifters in Redemption Creek are kickass! I literally was chained to my chair as I couldn’t flip the pages fast enough! Kim Fox has delivered another fantastic read filled with lots of loving, fighting, and pure romance. Great continuation to the series. Has plenty of drama, action, and some humor plus we can't forget the steamy romance. I really like how the author show the struggle of being a young shifter trying to come into his own. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read looking forward to reading the next book in the series. Her brother has asthma…lol. I love the laugh-out-loud moments in this authors writing style. Caleb has eyes only for her, she is trying to hide a hug secret that she doesn’t understand. Her brother’s condition soon ups the ante. Abigail is very compassionate and her quandary seems unsolvable but Redemption Creek is the best place for them both. Caleb is sexy, supportive and determined. Their story is a very enjoyable and attention-grabbing shifter romance.

It was awesome to visit these crazy bears again. Caleb is trying to chase down the new lifeguard but has no ideal about her life.
Abigail has an obligation to care for her brother no matter what. That includes finds as place for them and the uncontrollable lion that lives in him.
It all goes bad to worse real quick until Caleb stepped in to help.
This was another great story in the series.

Low angst
Caleb can't get a break with Abigail. She has too many problems... Could Caleb be the answer to them all?
This isn't enemies to lovers. Abigail actually likes Caleb. She just doesn't want him to know. Caleb never gives up. With no inner demons to fight, once Caleb figures out what Abigail needs, he gives it to her and she takes it.
There is some violence, but nobody is ever in real danger.

What Is Going On With Him
Something is going on with her little brother and it's turning their lives upside down. And there is this guy who comes to her job every day to flirt with her. She doesn't have the time or patience to deal with him. He is infatuated with her but he keeps running into a brick wall. This a fun and entertaining read. Enjoy I did.

Great Read!
