In tutti i sensi.

Solo in questo modo potrà tornare alla sua vita di sempre, finalmente riscattata.

Il piano di Eve procede filato come un treno. Peccato che i suoi progetti abbiano l’abitudine di deragliare…

This one is hard for me to review. I loved the plot and story line. Eve, a female painter whose latest exhibition has received very bad reviews is determined to overcome her creative block and get inspired. Impressed by Josh’s super talent in tattooing, she asks him to work in his tattoo workshop in order to find herself and her lost inspiration. Their instant attraction and chemistry awakens a passion in her she never knew existed.

The book is an easy, funny read and I liked it. My one comment would be that it didn't consume me. I love reading a book to the point that I cannot put it down. The story line was cute.....but after a few chapters it was easy to tell how the entire story was going to play out. I expected more but it was sweet and a good HEA!

In short:
Hero 4/5 | Heroine 3/5 | Plot (Point, Originality) 4/5 | Writing Style 4/5 | Steam 3/5 | Romance 3/5 | Angst-Suspense 3/5 | Darkness 0/5 | Humor 4/5 | Secondary Characters 3/5 | Drama-Conflict 3/5 | Mystery 0/5 | Twists 3/5 | Pacing Fast | Action 3/5

"He was either my boyfriend or he was my savior; he couldn't be both. And if I needed a hero, then I better find one in the mirror."

This was an enjoyable read with some truly fun characters. An artist looking for her on own X factor finds it in a tattoo artist in Queens, NY.

4.5 Tattoo Jesus Stars

 photo Singe_love_1.gif

Funny, flirty, and a tad bit crazy, describes this light fun read. Trainwreck is aptly named. I chose to read this book based solely on the blurb and cover. I don't have much experience with the author, since this is only my 2nd read from her, but I'm so happy my inner cover whore made me do it! I really enjoyed this story!

Here's the breakdown: Eve has the worst day of her professional life and gets home to find her live-in boyfriend getting the business from one of his co-workers. Interestingly enough, her boyfriend cheating isn't the worst part of her life.

What I loved: The cover is spectacular! I love the artistic shot and colorful designs. It fits perfectly with the subject matter.

The story arc and delivery is fantastic. It's a fast paced, funny book that grabs the reader's attention from the onset. The opening scene was both mortifying and unexpected, but in the best way. It's always a huge plus to be engaged with the characters from the very first page. While I can't say I'd respond the same way Eve does initially, I enjoyed her interaction with Kitty. The unexpected friendship and the ensuing Kitty shenanigans made me laugh out loud.

Tattoo Jesus aka Josh is dreamy! He's my dream man. Handsome, sexy, and covered in tattoos! He and Eve are super cute together. They both try to temper their feelings for one another, but we know that's not going to work! 😂

The humor interspersed throughout keep things light and fun. Phrases like, "and praise God, tattoo Jesus lived in Queens." and tattoo Jesus was freaking hot." were much appreciated.

I truly enjoyed this one! I'm looking forward to reading many more books from T. Gephart.

This is the story of two people from two different worlds. Eve comes from money and she is an artist with a fine arts degree from Yale. However, she is experiencing the lowest moments of her career now.

Josh is a sexy and talented tattooist from Queens. He has his own shop and he works with his best friend.

The paths of these two people cross when Eve catches her boyfriend with another woman giving him a blow job in the house they live together. The woman didn't know he had a girlfriend so she was really sorry and shocked. For the first time in a novel, I was thrilled that Eve was angry at the boyfriend instead of the woman he cheats her on with. Normally, people tend to blame the woman he is with instead of the asshole who is doing the "cheating". So, Eve was a girl of my own heart when she kicked him out of her house and then started to have a chat with the woman still sitting on the floor, trying to make sense of everything happening.

Eve and Kitty chat about this and that while drinking wine. That was a scene of awkwardness, maybe but it was an awesome one. Then, when Eve says her artwork sucks and today has been the worst day of her life not only because she caught her boyfriend with her but also because the critics wrote awful reviews about her exhibition. Kitty shows her what kind of art she likes and she does that by getting naked and showing her tattoo. Then, when Eve is amazed by the artwork on her body, Kitty mentions about the artist Josh. Eve decides to meet him because she believes he can teach her how to create art that evokes feelings as her works were criticized as being "soulless".

Hence, one disaster in her career and a girl her boyfriend cheated her on with both lead her to Josh, tattooist, who will later become the love of her life :)))

That was a cute and fun read and I enjoyed my time with it. Don't expect much from it, though. There is nothing too deep in it or nothing unforgettable about it but you can sure have some fun while reading it...

Safety:

Josh is not a man-whore, Eve is not a virgin. Interestingly enough, the cheating boyfriend wasn't bad in bed. Huh!? Kudos to the writer...

After meeting Eve, Josh doesn't sleep with anyone else, thinking only about her. However, he stays away from her as long as she works in his shop. He plans to date her afterwards. During this time, Eve is sexually frustrated and goes on a man hunt for a one-night stand, makes out with a guy while drunk but then he says something and she cannot continue the act or take it further.

Writing:

- Dual point of view

- Fun and light kind of writing

***********************************************

Some QUOTES from the book...

“Eve, baby. It’s not what it looks like. I don’t even know her.” He held his hands up defensively trying to pretend that the woman he barely knew wasn’t just giving him a blowjob in my apartment. “It was an accident, I swear.”

Oh. My. God. He did not just say that to me. I was seething. So tied up in rage that in that moment I totally got the rationalization for murder. Ten years behind bars didn’t seem so bad. “An accident!” I pulled off one of my Louboutins and aimed for his head. The heel could be deadly even if it was just a shoe. Sadly it missed. “Your penis just accidently fell into her mouth? Come on, you went to Harvard, don’t embarrass yourself by acting stupid.”

***

“I’m really sorry, I honestly didn’t know.” She mumbled apologies as she joined me on the floor. “I thought he was single. He didn’t tell me about you.” The situation was ridiculous.

While I hated he had cheated on me, there was no point being angry at Little Miss Fellatio, it wasn’t her I was in a relationship with.

***

“Did you sleep with him?” he asked, his dark pupils almost filling the perfect cerulean blue iris. Ugh, those freaking eyes. “Saturday night, I know that you kissed him.” He moved closer, his body coiled tight like a spring. “How far did it get?”

“Not that it’s any of your business.” My hands pushed against his chest. Mmm. Those pecs were waaaay nicer than I’d imagined, my brain reminding my hands I was too angry to enjoy them. “But no, I didn’t sleep with him. I couldn’t even kiss him until I imagined it was you, and I almost threw up in his lap.”

“You imagined he was me?” His voice low, a rumble.

“Yes, because in case you’re too freaking blind to notice.” I didn’t bother sugar coating it, keeping my eyes locked on his. I was no longer embarrassed or concerned about what he thought. “I wanted it to be you , to kiss you.”

His feet were lightning quick, closing the few feet that separated us until he was on me. On me. His mouth, his hands, his body—pressed against me while my brain tried to catch up.

Eve Thornton comes from money, but her background isn’t doing her any favors when it comes to success in her art career. So she seeks out tattoo artist Josh Logan for mentoring when she happens upon a piece of his work.

Josh is a really great guy. He’s patient and sensible and very supportive. I don’t think I could find a fault with his character. He also struck a good balance between cool tattoo artist and easy-going boyfriend with integrity.

“I didn’t want her to be a one-time deal, a quick lay, or for me to be her rebound. She was girlfriend material, and I didn’t want to screw that up.”

Eve, on the other hand, I had mixed feelings towards throughout. Initially I liked her confidence, and the way she handled things in the opening scene was stand-up. There are too many doormat heroines getting crapped on in the romance world; it was refreshing to see one handle it like a big girl who had balls. However, I did not care for the way she treated Josh in a later scene. I understood that she had to work things out for herself, but the way she sent mixed signals and blew him off was insensitive. In addition, it only seemed to serve up conflict for a climax with an avoidable misunderstanding in an otherwise pleasingly low-angst book.

Also, earlier in the story while Josh takes reprieve from their sexual tensions into his own hands:

“She had unwittingly given me jerk-off material for the next twenty years.”

Eve’s approach was a big turn-off when she engages in a bar make-out scene with another guy. It felt like simply a way to drag out Eve and Josh getting together. The night out scene could have been more productive to the romantic factor if it had been Eve and Josh going out.

Told via their alternating first person POVs, the story is largely about Eve’s journey to enhance not just her art, but her career and her life. Themes of self-improvement and bettering oneself along with not caring what other people think are crucial to the tale.

I would have preferred a stronger steam factor along with some interludes that were referred to but not shown between Josh and Eve. The story has some cute and humorous moments, but it’s not the laugh-out-loud romcom that some of the Power Station books were. Speaking of Power Station, fans will be pleased to see a cameo from one of the band members.

TRAIN WRECK by T. Gephart was soooo much fun! I laughed out loud, I swooned and I swore! The opening scene and subsequent light bulb moment from our eccentric lead Eve, was hilarious-as awful as the situation was, and it WAS...in the end, it was the best thing that ever happened to her.

Can a rich person be an artist? Can they FEEL? Are they capable of emotion? Some say NO. Eve is NOT a struggling artist. She has everything she wants at her finger tips. Except depth, creativity and talent-so say the reviewers and critics after her horrific debut art show. Destroyed and defeated, she looks for some comfort in her "boyfriend", Oliver. Except Oliver has other things on his mind, and ahem, on his body. After some soul searching, and the efforts from a interesting "friend", she finds a way to move on and move up!

Eve is a fabulous character. Resilient, resourceful, funny and smart. Josh, the hot tattoo artist she happens to come across seems to agree. But, after agreeing to mentor her for a bit, to help her get her groove back, he decides that even though she is GORGEOUS, he can't sleep with her because ooooopppsss, she is now his employee-secretary can now be added to her resume. Josh was in a bind at his shop, and Eve was recently rewarded a leave so it all worked out. Except-when two people are extremely attracted to one another, it usually only ends up going one way ;)

(bow-chika-wow-wow)

Josh. Josh. Josh. You were the greatest. I have a HUGE crush on you. Not just on your beautiful body, but because of your brilliant mind and generous heart. Always there when Eve needed you and you never really had your own drama. Drama free men are a real turn on! I loved how you cared your friends and Eve and it was such a nice experience being able to watch you help Eve grow into the stronger, tougher girl she was always meant to be.

Solid read. Super sexy. Loved the characters and the writing flowed beautifully. I was sucked right in from the beginning and I loved the journey I was taken on. The end was a little rushed for me. I would have loved a little longer epilogue, but all in all, fabulous!

In a field of white sheep once again I am the black one. Going to keep this short and sweet. I can see why everyone finds it appealing as I did enjoy the beginning and the end of the book. The middle? Meh not so much but I can truly say it is me and not the book.

I think I can’t deal with romantic comedy neither in books or films. The author has a unique writing style that is funny and keeps you smiling throughout the book. We also get the Hero’s POV which is seldom in books.

I didn’t like the heroine. I loved the Hero but somehow it still all felt somewhat flat to me. I’m tickled pink for all of you who liked it and this is solely my opinion on the book. One of many.

She had me at the cover.
Then the blurb.
And I knew , I HAD to read this book. And Boy, this book had me rolling on the floor laughing , in no time !
Rib-tickling humour, written with a lot of style and emotional nuance. The story completely drew me in.
Eve Thorton is an artist whose first exhibition got smashed and stomped on by critics , like rotten tomatoes. It bled everywhere in her life. Her morale, her confidence, her belief is destroyed and she's asked to " take a leave of absence " from her Gallery. To top it all off she goes home to a train wreck of another kind. But She doesn't wallow in miserable tears , rather is Determined to get past her defeat and , though wanting kill every critic , she tries to redeem and rediscover her missing passion . Her path leads her to Josh Logan. A tattoo artist. Or should I say "An Artiste!"
The fact that He's downright drool worthy, is an added bonus
She. Is . Smitten. Obsessed
Josh. Logan. Was. As. Hot. As. Fuck.
Josh AKA hottest man alive, wasn’t the orgasm whisperer.
Hot as fuck smile with an added hot as fuck look of approval.
Josh’s hot as fuck hand— seriously, I had a problem— ran through his hot as fuck hair.

See...what super humorous writing. !!
I need to say something here.. there's always these polls and questions on FB..
what attracts you to the book ?
It's smart writing. End of !
This isnt the first , or the last RomCom.
This isnt the first or the last with hot sexy , tattoo artist love story.
But it's the smart writing, heartfelt emotions, a deep sensitive heart writing and the some very valuable words of advise that run just below the indelible humour , that sets this book apart
I do know that you’re smart and you’re talented and it’s a fucking tragedy if you waste a minute of that on a half-assed effort. Whether it’s on a page or on a person. You’re not looking for someone to enable you and you knew you wouldn’t get that with me. And as crazy as it sounds, I care. So let me serve my purpose.”
Mouth open.
Mouth closed.
Words missing.

ME too People...me too !
I laughed so hard whenever Dallas or Kitty entered the story. Hope they get a book of their own soon
I thoroughly enjoyed the book, laughing with it, loving it, learning from it and now touting it too.
So go read this delectable story . Laugh out loud and come back and review !
5 two clouds fucking stars ;)

I have been following T. Gephart since #1 Crush was published and this one was not a let down. when I picked this baby, I couldn't drop it so I might as well gobble this thing up. I'm not an artist but I do understand what it means to loose your grip over something you love, and to be criticized, not the same way as Eve was criticized but I had my fair share.

Eve was on the verge of loosing he sanity when they called her art 50 shades of fuck up. And to top it off, she found out the boyfriend had been cheating on her while she was having a bad day. Bummer right? Well, this unfortunate event led to another and by the form of lady sucking off her now ex-boyfriend, she may have found a way to get her arts-piration back.

Josh is a tattoo artist, Tattoo Jesus that's what Eve called him, don't be deceived in his tattoo clad body, Josh is the perfect gentleman. He just doesn't quite figure out how Eve fits in in his world. She is a walking bombshell and talented in art but why choose Josh. Not to mention she comes from money, she doesn't fit anywhere near him. But the attraction remains, and the tension is strong, their bond and love for art is their language. Soon Eve and Josh finds themselves on a hole called love and nothing can stop it from swallowing them both.

Their story is hilariously awesome, witty chick and throw in a hot tattoo artist ain't that interesting. God I love this two.

Seee ,come no! Na noia😞
Do' ⭐⭐⭐,ma solo per l'inizio divertente....

*ARC graciously given for an honest review*

NO ONE could perfectly mix romance, sass, and laughter the way Miss T. Gephart does. I am completely obsessed with her words! Trainwreck is a masterpiece itself!

"I get the real you, and you get the real me. Even if we argue."

Eve Thorton found out that her passion for art wasn’t really transferring into her canvases as extraordinarily as she would’ve wanted. So when her eyes caught a stunning piece of art inked on skin, she knew she had to meet the genius behind it and draw inspiration from him. Little did she know, his artistic abilities won’t be the only thing she’d be drawn to. Eve was such a great character to explore! This badass woman driven by her need to prove people that she wasn’t just money and degree surprised and delighted me in many ways. I loved that Eve wasn’t a damsel-in-distress but I also loved that she opened herself for some changes. Her journey was such a vital part of this book.

"It's how much of yourself you give. What you sacrifice for someone else. I'm concerned you are too busy worrying about other people, and no one is worrying about you."

Josh Logan had a tough life but he’s getting through it quite well. His escape? Art. He’s a genius with an ink gun and a man armed with knowledge and life lessons that he vividly transfers into ink. Known for magnificently translating classic paintings into the human skin, Josh’s gift knows no limits. But Eve Thorton might just be the only art form he would not be able to replicate. Oh, Josh. Where to begin? There’s a certain charming poignancy in this man that drew me to his character. Sure, he was hot, no doubt about that. But Josh’s major charm was his mind and the insightful, artistic way he views the world. I loved that his looks felt like a secondary (but definitely not a lesser) trait in this book. He was just an absolutely great mystery I loved unraveling.

What I love in Miss T’s books are the streaks of unexpected details in every one of her works. Trainwreck has tons of those. Even just the little quirks or the slight twists on scenes give me such happiness. Josh and Eve may seem more different than alike but they wonderfully complement each other. I really, really love how they mesh! There was also a perfect amount of emotion in this book. Not overplayed nor unnecessary, just the right feels for Josh and Eve. And of course, I couldn't get through with this review without mentioning Dallas. He is a character every reader would absolutely love! He’s this unfiltered friend whom you can’t help but keep. I really loved the flavor he added to the book!

The thing I really loved about this book is this grin I couldn’t get off of my face. A totally riveting read; sexy, hilarious, romantic, and refreshing. It’s a definite happy pill!

ARC RECEIVED FOR AN HONEST REVIEW

Firstly, I am not usually one to even really look at covers, but helllloooo look at those shoes. I mean, I couldn't wear them without breaking my ankles and my neck, but they are hot!

We all have days when our lives are a bit of a train wreck, right?

Eve Thornton's train wreck is just a little more public than ours - public humiliation is never fun, right?

What I love about her though is that she is not one to sit on her ar$e and grumble about it all. Whilst she could have done nothing but cry about it and eat ice cream and let daddy's money pay her bills, she didn't.

Like Chumbawumba said "I get knocked down, but I get up again, you're never gonna keep me down"

Eve starts afresh. I mean, when you are given lemons, throw them at someones head, right? Oh wait, make lemonade *side eyes* yeah, that's what I meant.

And what a way to start anew! From the first time Josh was on the page he was all kinds of what floats my boat! I fell for him hook. line and sinker!

I loved the art aspect of Train Wreck, I love art, however I can't draw a stick person to look like it is supposed to. I adored that Josh's tattoo work is portrayed more as art than just a tattoo. I adored that Eve through herself back into her art - with a little inspiration from her tattooed hottie.

There is a great cast of secondary characters - please tell us that we will get more of Dallas and Kitty in the future?

Train Wreck had me laughing, had me screaming at my kindle, had me crying, and had me hoping for better things for our lovelies.

Ms Gephart drew me into the story, got me invested in the lives of the characters, and left me wanting more.

I can't wait to see what she brings us next

PS. When I was reading, the chapter art work had me thinking of bacon - every single chapter. Please tell me I am not the only one!

Blurb:
“No passion, no emotion, no originality—a train wreck of epic portions.”

Those were the words to describe Eve Thorton’s exhibition. Not even a fine arts degree from Yale or her daddy’s bank account could save her from the scathing reviews. And failure was a word Eve would never be comfortable with. Not even close.

Plotting the demise of every critic who’d written her off was her first instinct. But that would come later. Instead, she would show them that she wasn’t a bored socialite with more money than talent.

She would prove everyone wrong, and she wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. But when her journey for redemption crashed headfirst into Josh Logan, the sexy, talented tattooist from Queens, getting her hands dirty took on a whole new meaning.

Josh was everything Eve wasn’t, translating on skin what she couldn’t onto her canvas. All she had to do was convince him to share his jaw-dropping brilliance, and help her—seeing him naked—a bonus. Then she could go back to her regular life, vindicated.

It should have been easy. Pity her plans had a habit of derailing.

Train Wreck was a beautiful story...I had a great time reading on a sunny summer Sunday.

I istantly loved our heroine with her craziness and her attitude stole my heart from the first page.I found myself rooting for her artistic and personal achievement.
I enjoyed to follow Eve in this journey,to see her growing strong after a few failures and bad events and to never stop fighting for her happiness.

This was my first T. Gephart read and I liked the cover, the writing, the plot, the flow and the main and support charactres that will have you laughing and swooning throughout the book.

There's nothing wrong per se with this book. She's a privileged rich girl who's gallery showing flops horribly. He's a tattooist. She needs inspiration for her art. He needs to hire someone. They are both attractive. I just didn't feel the ride or die chemistry.

Plus, basically he doesn't want to date her whilst she works at his shop for three weeks but makes the plan to ask her out after she leaves. They both go out on the prowl on the weekends out of sexual frustration. She kisses this guy, imagining the hero. Hero finds out, gets pissed off (even though he was technically going out to do the same thing - even if it didn't happen) and then confronts her. BAM. Relationship starts.

Train Wreck
T. Gephart
5 Stars

I did it!!! I popped my T. Gephart Cherry!!! What the heck took me so long?

Eve is an aspiring artist that works in the gallery her first exhibition is being held… To say the show was a success is hardly the case. After reading reviews in the paper and being told by her boss, take some time off work… Although being raised with a silver spoon and having more money than you and I would ever know to do with, she is down to earth. The kind of gal everyone loves to be friends with. But are they also using her for her unlimited credit limit or are her friends truly there for her?

Fate was handed to her that horrible day! What would be total devastation for you and I, Eve made lemonade out of the lemons she was dealt.

Josh aka hottest man alive is riding the train of success in his, booked for 6 months don’t even bother leaving a message on the phone, tattoo parlor. Knowing what it means to work your way to the top, he knows how to survive in the artist world.

He tells you how it is and never sugar coats anything…

In other words >>>> FULL DISCLOSURE!!!

Train Wreck was not a wreckage! Not. At. All! My very first Tina Gephart book was No. 1 Crush and let me tell you I loved that story so much. Although this one had totally different pacing and personalities, I would like to say that she has done it again. This woman surely knows how to run a delightful ride.

The sexual tension between Josh and Eve was explicit and their chemistry was a gamut never missing a beat from start to finish. They share the same passion for art and even in their clashing natures I still found that layer of equilibrium.

Despite Eve Thorton’s off putting mood swings, I genuinely liked her. Walking on your boyfriend in action with another woman and a hot off the grill art exhibition which to be clear was a total fail, you’d eventually understand her flipping moments. She’s down to earth notwithstanding loaded and has this easily adaptable personality. With swaying confidence but born with sass. Her outbursts of honesty and realizations that she is a work in progress were relatable. She is a beautiful mess of highs and lows. Aren’t we all are? Train Wreck revolved mostly around her even though it was told in dual POVs and you’d see that she really did grow from slightly lost to finally finding herself.

Hats off to this brilliant and sexy sweet talker of a tattooist named Josh for bringing out her highs. I want my own hot as fuck mood lifter and saving grace too, why is that so hard to ask? Out of all his great and obvious perks, again hot as fuck, what stood out the most was his perceptiveness. Eve got inspired by this man, I for certain was enthused. Mature, established, a great listener and a fixer not just to her girl but even to his closest friends.

The hilarious side of this story were Josh and Eve’s fiascos with the secondary characters. Aside from their easy and sexy banters it was so much fun to witness them deal and interact with their wild friends. Their silly dance, the holding back, was a great foreplay that got me definitely hot and bothered too. And one more thing to solidify this couple’s refreshing energy – they not only talk about their run of the mill and trivial musings but their deeper longings as well. Yep, you got that right there are heart to hearts. Their diverse backgrounds brought little jabs and tension in their budding relationship which in turn made the love story more appealing.

There’s just this one crucial part, though realistic, could have been sweeter for more heart clenching and fluttering reactions. Only that. But as a whole this stand-alone didn’t only deliver in the romance department but also lightly tackled and seamlessly intermingled subjects such as art, self-discoveries and of course relationships. Beautifully wrapped up story with triumphant surprises. That epilogue was mildly in-your-face by the way. Cheers to hearts colliding out of crazy times and absurd circumstances. Truly, Eve and Josh did it!!!

Train wreck is one of those books you go in with a grin on your face , of all scenarios I'v never seen a scene play that way it did found it incredibly unique and the more the story went along with more misunderstanding and miscommunications the more I found it refreshing and funny . Eve is a anomaly from looking at her you would except her to be a spoiled brat who blames every one but herself for her problems but she wasn't any of those things she's funny , determined , smart , non judgmental , and has a backbone . Josh is just yummy swoon worthy I would love for him to tattoo me like now he's talented ,hilarious , honest ,and jump bones kind of guy loved the relationship he had with Dallas I hope he gets his own book . The hero and heroine made such a beautiful couple the intense attraction that they have for one another is super steamy the sex scenes are really hot and the trust and respect they share is awesome . This is a standalone but characters from Crash ride are in this including other reads that I plan on putting on my TBR . T Gephart is a new author to me that I'll be reading from more in the futre .

Amhaaazing. Honestly this book is my kinda sauce. It's funny, feisty & flirty but in equal measure it's got so much love, tenderness & depth that it touched my very soul. This is Rom Com writing at its finest, as I was flipped from laughing so hard i almost peed myself, to trying to swallow the lump in my throat & soothe the ache in my chest.

Tina ALWAYS delivers, & so it's no surprise this book has left me in a bit of a funk. Between the most gorgeous cover & the kinda blurb that hooked me instantly, I just KNEW I was going to fall head over heals with this book & the characters - and fall I did. Head first into one beautiful train wreck.

Ok, so TG seriously writes the most fabulous characters & I now have Josh & Eve to add to my collection. Her character development is consistently exceptional & this was so on point once again, that I felt connected to them both from the very first pages. Seriously they were so flippin real & flawed in the most utterly endearing way.

Josh & Eve were the perfect couple. Josh - OH MY LAWD did she serve up one of THE hottest, sexiest alphas I've read in an age.. But damn this man was even more beautiful on the inside. He was insightful, calming, grounded & honest. A man of great integrity. A man who challenged, pushed & encouraged you to be better, including himself. When he loves it's unconditional & hell the fact he oozes raw sex appeal.. Well hello & yes please, thank you very much indeed.. I could love this man for eternity.

As for Eve, wow she was a legend. I loved her hard. Such strength, grit & a steely determination, I couldn't help but feel proud of her. She has an amazing level of crazy that talked to me lol, but that was perfectly balanced by her vulnerability & quiet moments of reflection. The fact that her brain to mouth filter doesn't always work & the way she lives life in the moment - or tries too, made her even more loveable.

But my love affair with this book doesn't stop there, because yet again Tina managed to bring to life the very essence of this pair. The depth in their story & the love that is wrapped around the life's lessons they both share is just heartachingly stunning. For beyond the laughter & the omg snickers, there are whispered moments of sheer magic that will steal your heart & leave you wanting more. And honestly, truly it's not even just the MC’s that leave their mark, it's every character that graces this story. They pull you in harder, because each of them truly do add their own stamp. (Dallas & Kitty - more more more)

Finally, I can't finish this review without heaping a whole world of praise for the skill & interpretation that Tina brings to life through her words. I won't give any spoilers, but Eve’s ‘Come to Jesus’ moment with her art & the ending - If I closed my eyes I was there. I could see. I could feel. I could literally touch the canvas. It was alive, vivid & so damn real & THAT is one amazing accomplishment when an author can make you SEE the beauty as well as read it.

Amazinggggg 5 star stunner of a read

I'm sure we have all felt our life has been a train wreck at some point. Eve's life was running smoothly until she comes home early from work and makes a nasty discovery. Things change dramatically from that point on. She feels a local tattoo artist is going to help her out of her art funk. He opens her eyes up in so many ways. Eve and Josh have a tremendous connection. And as much as Josh wants to be a gentleman and do the right thing, it's too strong for both of them.

There were a lot of things I liked about this book. This couple had some exceptional banter that was so sweet. I loved Eve could work out that if she needed a hero, the first place to look was in the mirror. And also, that the characters weren't arrogant. They each had those self doubts and misconceptions with a new relationship. I felt it made both Josh and Eve very realistic. Even though the story line seemed familiar and I was expecting more humor, this is a book not to be missed. I am hoping one secondary character gets his own book - Dallas' story will be very interesting indeed.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an unbiased review.

I honestly wasn't sure if I'd read one of T. Gebhart's books when I signed up to review this book, but I knew there were a couple of them on my TBR pile. I'm truly happy that I went with my gut and took a chance. This story was delightful and fun, and a gorgeous cover to boot.

Our heroine, Eve, is outspoken and sometimes a little scatterbrained, but also confident in many ways. Having been shaken up by some stumbling blocks, she gets help from an unexpected ally - and finds an artist that she hopes will help her find her muse. I really dug how much of a contradiction her character is - it made for a completely 3-D personality that jumped off the page.

The man who's tasked with getting her back on track is Josh, the co-owner of a successful tattoo parlor. He's big, inked, charismatic, and to Eve - completely mesmerizing. She can't help but stare at him, his work, his art, his movement, everything.

They both know it's not a good idea to jump each other even though there's a huge attraction between them, but how long is that gonna last when Eve and Josh work together in tight quarters? Will Josh be her muse? Will Eve get her mojo back? Will they make beautiful watercolors together?

Here's the good news: you can find out by picking up this book and reading it for yourself. I give it 4 to 4.5 stars.

I would be lying if I said I wasn't captured from the very first chapter, because guys it was instant love for me. This book had me completely hooked from the very first sentence in chapter one people. And why?
Because T. Gephart has a way with words that just simply draws you in.
And that is exactly what she did.

Meet Eve.
Young, beautiful and driven. Art is her thing.
But her very first exhibit.....A complete disaster.
The critics.....Brutal.
So with her career in the toilet, she takes comfort in knowing she has her man, Oliver at home waiting for her. He will help her get through the humiliation.
Yeah right....
Not when she walks in and finds him....Ummm what could you say....In an awkward position...

A day that Eve just wants to forget.

But it doesn't end on a bad note as such.
She meets a stranger that will lead her to hope.
She meets a stranger that will hopefully lead her to the one person that may help her out of her career slump.
She meets a stranger that will hopefully change the course of her life.

Sounds simple enough?
Yeah well fate has other ideas.

Meet Josh.
An artist in his own right.
But instead of canvas, he draws on skin.
Owning his very own tattoo shop.
Talented, gorgeous and career driven.
Eve gets her chance to meet him and hopefully he can guide her in the right direction.

So Eve meets Josh.
Josh meets Eve.
He can help her.
Give her direction.
Sounds simple from his end.
Sounds pretty simple from her end.

But what you get when Eve and Josh are together?
A beautiful train wreck that just leaves you breathless.

I honestly can't rate this novel high enough. From the first chapter I literally sat with my kindle in my hands laughing so hard that my own family had thought I lost my mind. The humour was just consuming.
Eve and her sassy mouth, her charm and quick wit.
Josh and his cocky attitude and charm.
And please let's not forget Dallas.....What an absolute charmer. God that guy was totally hilarious.

Over a fun-loving, hilarious, witty and sweet read that I couldn't put down.
Again T. Gephart captured my heart with not only her witty words and great story-line, but the emotion and depth that I could feel from beginning to end.

A huge 5 star read for me

Ohmygosh!! Josh was so freaking dreamy. Muscled, tattooed, wise and had a heart of gold!! Eve was one lucky gal!

Josh and Eve were the perfect examples of 'Don't judge a book by it's cover'. They were from different worlds and ended up being the perfect match. This book had me laughing and swooning at the same time in some parts. I don't know how more perfect a book boyfriend can get than Josh Logan. Covered in ink, talented and had a heart of gold. The ultimate package -inside and out. Geesh, I fell in love with him over and over. Everytime he showed wisdom or did something nice for Eve...SWOON.

Eve, was hilarious. Right off the bat, I could tell she was a hot mess. Money, great schooling and good job...you'd think she had everything she could want. Nope. The only thing that mattered to her was her art and she got a bid dose of reality all in one day.

With the great idea of reaching out to a fellow artist, she thinks he can help her get her "mojo" back -or at least find it. Josh was a true inspiration and it was all from the wisdom he'd gained from his own hardships. He didn't need a fancy degree. His good heart and open mind just saw past her crazy moments and helped her see. It was truly amazing. Argh, my heart swoons just thinking back on it all. I so love him. And HOT DAMN was he sexy! He was kind and tender when it was needed and oh so rough when it warranted. Geesh! I'm doing a bit more than just swooning remember those parts too. *fans self*

This was a wonderful summer read. Plenty of fun, steam and romance - the full package for an entertaining story.

FAVORITE QUOTES:
"I said I wasn't going to f*ck you on the first date, Eve." His eyes locked on mine, his face so full of need I had no idea how he could say no. "I didn't say I wasn't going to make you come."

I'd seen thousands of documented examples of the perfect male form, and none of them had come close to him.

"You said a suit, this is a suit."
"I said wear a suit, not combust my vagina." I waved in his direction, taking a step back. "I think...no, I know, that you are the hottest man I've ever seen."

3.5 Stars

Eve Thornton thinks she's having the worst day of her life... that is until she walks into her apartment to find her live-in boyfriend, Oliver, in the middle of a compromising position with one of his co-workers... in Eve's apartment. Well isn't that the cherry on top of her horrible day?

That is until Kitty, the woman Oliver was with shows Eve the tattoo on her back. It's an amazing piece of art, and Eve needs to meet the man who did it. You see, she's been skewered in the press after her first art show and Josh Logan (whom she's dubbed Tattoo Jesus) could just be the muse she needs.

After searching him out, she beings working at his tattoo shop, where Josh imparts words of wisdom about the passion for what you do. Through her time with Josh at the same time falling for him, she begins to realize she's been playing it safe. Not only in her life but in her work and it's now time for a change.

I loved the Power Station books by T. Gephart, but this one took me a while to get into. It just felt like it took forever with not much happening to get a little spark. It wasn't around the time that Troy Harris from the Power Station shows up that things start to pick up. I loved Dallas, Josh's long time friend and fellow tattoo artist. That character was hilarious.

Though I didn't love this one, I would still read more from T. Gephart. Not every piece is going to hit it out of the park and I understand that. She's written enough fantastic work to keep me in.

**FULL REVIEW**

"But the reason I wanted to work with you is because, despite us having different mediums, your work comes to life."

What a breath of fresh air! I can honestly say it was pretty awesome reading a book where a strong female lead is the focus.

Despite her insecurities and overthinking, Eve Thorton is an alpha-female through and through. I want to read more books with women like her! The added bonus to this story is the seemingly "opposite sides of the tracks" analogy. It was seamless and completely believable making Train Wreck original in its own right.

"How long had I been doing it? Following a path because some screwed up part of my brain dictated it was what I needed to do. Were my thoughts so heavily saturated by a need to please that despite me believing I was confident and independent that I'd created this alternate version of myself. A watered down version of someone I thought I should be? No. This wasn't me. No wonder people thought my art lacked depth--I lacked depth. And what was worse it that I hadn't even seen it."

YES! Self-discovery, a little romance, and one hot tattooed man to spice up this juicy morsel of female badassery. I will definitely be picking up more from this author...but this book, this one will be on my shelf. Not only is the story one I can absolutely relate to, but the artwork depicted on the pages as well as conveyed through the cover is something worth looking at and admiring over and over.

Kudos to Gephart, she nailed this story and I'm honored to have been able to read it.

I am really happy after this one.

This was a GREAT read. This is why I love this genre. The feeling after reading a great book is what keeps me put, weeding out the GREAT ones from the ones that are meh.

There have been a lot of MEH's this year, not gonna lie.

This book is NOT one of them. It's not exactly revolutionary.

But it's got everything I love in JUST the right amount. It's romance done well. The storyline is quite intriguing but not cringe-y or too try-hard.

You know what I'm saying. We've all seen the weird stories that make us go - Wut in tarnation is this crap?

There's just enough angst, not too much. JUST enough.

Eve is an artist who's lost her mojo, her moxie, her soul when she comes across Josh's tattoo work and decides to work with him in hopes of inspiration.

They're A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E. The way they work together is dreamy and their banter is hilarious. They are really good together. They have some really good conversations regarding inspiration. I actually highlighted some isshh.

It's not insta-lust (thank fuck!) nor is it too slow. We actually get a good chunk of them as a couple - WHICH I LOVE

There's NOTHING that grinds my gears like an angst filled tale, and when they just get together, there's either a plot twist or the book just ends.

LET ME ENJOY THEM FOR A FEW CHAPTERS SIS! Before we have to throw a wrench into the works.

ALL in all a perfect recipe. This is like a good warm homemade gooey chocolate cake. Yes, it's nice to have variety with all the new matcha flavoured sponge cakes with meringue frosting and whatnot.
But sometimes, I just want some good comforting chocolate cake.

MMMmmm cake.
