After four years living on Arcadia, Jarcor decided it was time to go back to Earth to find Sabrina and try to convince her to come to Arcadia with him. But the first thing he found out about her was that she had a little girl. Sure, she had moved on and forgotten him, he didn’t insist on seeing him when she avoided meeting him. But her daughter had other plans and soon he was discovered she was his daughter too. Passion between them flared as if they had never been apart. Convincing her to go to Arcadia with him wasn’t as hard as he thought it would be but convincing her to stay might not be as easy. Given a second chance, he planned to use it to seduce her and convince her she couldn’t live without him anymore. But unexpected events turned their lives upside down and only a miracle would make them right again.
Jarcor returns to earth to adjust the programming of the new cyborgs being created. He was also hoping to persuade Sabrina to return to Arcadia with him, ostensibly to investigate some ruins discovered on their continent but also because he had never been able to forget her. He was surprised and hurt to find that she had apparently moved forward with her life and now had a young daughter. Luciana recognised him immediately for who he was and wanted them all to be together. The story is basically good but the grammar is shocking. It’s a great pity because it makes me, for one, reluctant to get any of the other books in this series. I got this because the first book didn’t end. It was just part one. I hope that the author finds somebody to help with editing and proofreading.
From Captain Lucas Jarco (The Cyborgs Reborn 0.5) where my excitement was high at beginning a new cyborg series to finishing the series and feeling disappointed on a whole. I feel the storyline had higher potential but unfortunately, it failed in any wow factor. One area which I thought could have added value to the Cyborgs finding their humanity would have been offering assistance to the alien Taucets in their quest for the survival of their own race. The evil slavers of human women went from enemies to tolerance and the Cyborgs used them to better their own lives without returning the favour or at least guiding them morality. There also was the introduction of three original inhabitants of Arcadia whose actions lead to the total annihilation of their species. Let's just kill what we don't understand but it fairness the story is fantasy and not a reflection of real-life (?).
Totally enjoyed this book , I wish it had been longer and that she fleshed certain aspects of the book out a little more . She left a lot of questions or at least I have a lot of questions. However I won't spoil the book for you and you may not have the same questions lol. I was fascinated with the development of Luciana.
Jarcor has been miserable since he left Sabrina on earth and he left for Arcadia to start a home for the cyborgs escaping earth. He's returned to earth to find a way to up grade the cyborgs still on earth and try and find Sabrina. Really great story and hope there are more to come.
Jarcor was the beginning and the end which was perfectly fitting. The cyborgs' new home was certainly interesting. Sabrina and Jarcor's children were very interesting. Read to find out how.
To be separated from that you love because died is hard is. But to find out he's alive and didn't get in touch with you is reasons to never speak or see him again.
