Meet David Wright, a man devoted to both religion and technology. The world may think of God and science as opposing entities, but they’re one and the same as far as David's concerned. Young, handsome, and rich, it hasn’t always been easy for him to stand by his Christian values. 2025 is the year. David alone lives in the 22nd century. He gets by fairly easily thanks to his AI, flying car, and other futuristic inventions. Despite being a Southern Californian billionaire, his days aren’t filled with much excitement. It’s not until the night of Geoffrey Madison’s birthday banquet does David’s life become eventful. Dr.Madison, an arrogant scientist famed for his extraordinary animal hybrids, goes on a rant about his distaste for religion. Upon hearing his Christian faith being mocked and laughed at by the other guests, anger swells within David like never before. For the first time, David decides to abuse his wealth and technological genius. His morality is put to the test. How far will he go to defend his faith?
A Fantastic Debut from Terry Wells :) A very easy and enjoyable read with an unexpected twist at the end. The writing style is similar to H G Wells! The religious underpinning of this is very thought provoking and shows how gullible people can be to have to cling to any explanation no matter how unlikely rather that not understand something and just accepting the unknown. 5 Stars :)
