Father God, I desire to cultivate a heart for Your brilliant presence. Consume me with Your Holy Spirit. Take control of my life and make me into a prophetic intercessor. Fill me and empower me once again. For Your Kingdom’s sake, put Your breaker anointing upon my life. I choose by God’s grace to be a doorkeeper of Your presence and a watchman on the walls for my family, city, and nation. Like Simeon and Anna, I want to see the purposes of God come to pass in my generation. Take possession of me, in Jesus’ great name. Amen and amen!

This book gave me scriptural insight on what it looks like to pray from Gods perspective and not a place of "why me?". It has challenged me to seek Gods Presence above all else so I may know what to pray as well as what to look for as I pray. Goll gives practical advice and at times guidelines on how to stay connected with God. It helps that there is a 21 day devotional at the end so now you can practice connecting with God and applying what you have read to your own life.

Praying with God’s Heart by James Goll concentrates on prophetic intercession which is holding the needs of others before God. The book is divided into three parts: Part I Heart for Intercession and Prayer Passion, Part II Heart for the Prophetic and Divine Insights and Part III Heart for Prophetic Intercession. The book also includes a 21 day devotional guide. The first four chapters focus on understanding Intercessionary prayer as an expression of the heart of God whereas the later chapters concentrate on what it means to serve him and become a better prayer warrior. I think in times like these we all could become better prayer warriors and practice more daily Intercessionary prayers.
