I read and reviewed these four stories individually. I loved them individually but putting them all together in a box set makes it easier to binge read! Let's take a trip to Nome, Alaska again.....

"Mountain Man's Beauty":
Needing to get away and start over, Ayla decides to move to Alaska to live in the cabin she inherited. When she has an accident, Ayla is rescued by her new neighbor. The chemistry between Bill and Ayla is super hot. Bill calls in favors to help fix Alya's cabin. When someone decides he wants Alya for himself, will Bill be able to save her once again?

"Mountain Man's Proposal":
Merle comes to Nome, Alaska to dive for gold. What she finds is one hot male. Charlie comes to Merle's aid and offers her a job and a place to stay. Their attraction is undeniable but what will happen when Merle has to return home? Will there be a HEA for these two or just a nice memory? Once again Ms. Wood has written a story that you won't be able to put down until the final page.

"Mountain Man's Bride":
After many years away, Chris has returned to Nome but will he stay? Molly's heart was broken when Chris left her and Nome behind. Would she survive a second time? Can she find a way to make Chris realize that all he needs is in Nome? This is a wonderful "second-chance" story and a great addition to this "Mountain Man" series.

"Mountain Man's Secret Baby":
Once again Ms. Wood takes us to Nome, Alaska for a hot love story. Ethan and Denise were great together. Of course things don't go smoothly for them, there are accidents and "fiancees" to cause problems. How will things end? I'm not going to spoil your read but I will tell you that you won't be disappointed.

Mountain Man's Beauty

Ayla inherited her aunt's cabin in the mountains but as she is on her way her VW van gets stuck. It is Bill to the rescue.

Bill with the help for friends get her cabin ready to move in with in the week. Bill stakes his claim to Ayla but once the cabin is ready will she sill want to see Bill?

Cute couple who fall in love right away. They had some issues with Bill protecting her long the way but a great read.

Mountain Man's Proposal

Charlie smiles at Merle who is a diver for gold. She comes to Nome to help a man named Kevin who is a drinker. So she helps Charlie out but does not plan to stay in town. What is Charlie to do? Make a way to keep her.

Charlie comes to life and and Merle helps him these two were fun to read about and Merle is head strong which is nice.

Mountain Man's Bride

Chris is back in town and Molly is not too thrilled. He left her once to go to the big city so why is he back? Chris wants another shot but will Molly give him the chance he needs?

We see a side of Molly that we have not seen in the other stories and it was nice to see her independent side. Chris has to work a lot of work to win her over but will it be enough?

Mountain Man's Secret Baby

Denise works for Molly and has a reputation of being a hard ass when it comes to men. Ethan has a way to break through to her and she falls. When he gets hurt and she learns the he has a fiancé will things change for them?

A story of misunderstandings and new beginnings. A nice read.

Over all the set was an easy read with some great characters. It was nice to see some of the older characters in the books as we go along.

Mountain Man's Beauty
Ayla was looking for a place of her own to get away from man troubles. She inherited a cabin from an aunt but hadn't seen it. Bill rescues Ayla when her van goes off the road. Sparks are flying as they go look at her cabin before Bill offers for her to stay with him. Bill gets someone friends to help do repairs on the cabin for Ayla all the while hoping she'll change her mind and stay with him. One of the men helping out has his eye on Ayla even though Bill has made it clear she's his and on Ayla's second night in the cabin someone comes for her. She calls Bill and he comes to her rescue again but not without some consequences.

This was a great story about two very different people finding love. The chemistry between Bill and Ayla is electrifying. Once I stated this I couldn't put it down until I was at the end. If you haven't read anything by this author then this book will make you a fast fan.

Mountain Man's Proposal
Merle comes to Nome to work and get away from her ex. The guy she was supposed to work for was a drunk so she ended up working for Charlie. Charlie is attracted from the moment he lays eyes on Merle but asks her to work for him so he knew she would be working safely. As they continue to work closely together things heat up. A few embarrassing moments leads them down a path into temptation and they end up sleeping together. Charlie knows that Merle is the woman he wants and hopes to convince her to stay with him. However life has other plans when her brother shows up looking for her. Merle ends up having to leave and Charlie is left wondering if he should follow her. Can Charlie convince Merle they have something worth fighting for?

Mountain Man's Bride
Molly and Chris used to be together but living the small town life. So he left for New York leaving Molly behind. Now he is back and Molly hears that he is looking for her but she wants nothing to do with him. When he does track her down its to let her know that she was mentioned in the will and needs to meet with the lawyer with him. Chris's parents had split there property between Chris and Molly. Chris wasn't happy because he had plans for that and now had to convince Molly to sale to him in order to keep those plans. Molly gets Chris to agree to stay around for a week to help out and she'll sale but she's not convinced he'll stay. Molly and Chris both have strong feeling for one another but are afraid to be hurt again. Will Chris stick it out and make a life with Molly? Will Molly give up and sale the land to Chris?

Mountain Man's Secret Baby
Denise is a waitress working at a restaurant in Nome, Alaska. Ethan is the building designer for the new harbor being built for a new cruise line coming through Alaska. They meet at the restaurant and through Molly's match making they end up hunting behind Denise's home. Something about Denise draws Ethan to her and they end up in bed together but before they can talk or even think afterwards they are interrupted. Molly shows up at Denise's place worried when she doesn't answer her phone because they are afraid she could've been at the restaurant when some tried to burn it down. There's a lot of people that are against having the harbor built and they are starting to be threatening towards anyone they think is alright with it being built. When things escalate at the harbor no one can locate Ethan and Denise starts to panic. When Ethan is found and taken to the nearest hospital for treatment Denise is greeted by his mom and his "fiancé" she is shocked and hurt and leaves. Can Ethan show Denise that they are perfect for each other? Will everyone be alright with the conflicts about the harbor? What will happen with Denise being
pregnant?


This is an amazing box set each book brings its own unique story to the set. This is a well written and very entertaining box set. I would recommend this to any book lover.

I read this set as part of an arc program. This is a great set of the four Mountain Man series that is set in Alaska. This is a great way to read this series at a great value. Great one.
Mountain Man's Beauty
I really enjoyed this romance between Bill and Ayla. Ayla moved to Alaska after a bad breakup and finding out her aunt has left her a cabin in the mountains. When Ayla gets stuck in the snow, she isn't quite sure what to do until Bill comes along and offers her help. When Ayla tells Bill where she was headed, he takes her there only to discover the cabin is in really bad shape. Bill offers Ayla to stay at his place until she can figure out the repairs. Bill is attracted to Ayla and thinks since she is going to be at his house, it gives him the chance to make her his. When the repairs start on Ayla's cabin thanks to Bill's friends, Ayla decides it is time to make a move on Bill. Things go well with the couple until a threat comes to Ayla and causes trouble. I enjoyed this story and really liked Bill. I thought he was an alpha who really didn't know he wanted love until Ayla. There was a twist that made the book a little different from the usual love story.
Mountain Man's Proposal
In this book, Merle, a young woman travels to Alaska to work as a diver on a boat diving for gold. When Merle gets to Alaska, she learns the man she was supposed to be working for is not everything she thought he was and when she is offered a job by another man who owns boats named Charlie, she accepts. Merle needs a place to stay also so Charlie offers her a room in his house until she can find something permanent, only she doesn't know Charlie wants to keep her as his own. Merle is attracted to Charlie, but because he is her boss, she doesn't want to act on it, but she is having a hard time fighting it. Charlie wants to claim Merle as his own and things are going well until a man shows up looking for Merle. I loved this story, I thought Charlie was a good guy whp really wanted to be happy and be with Merle. They had a great connection and were great together.
Mountain Man's Bride
In this book, Chris returns to Alaska and visits his former love Molly with news of his parents passing away and have left her land in their will. Chris and Molly were together for a long time until Chris decided to leave for New York eight years before. Chris wanted to build his business and Molly wouldn't leave Alaska, the place she loved. When Chris returns, Molly knows she still has feelings for him and tells him she will sell the land with him if he decides to return to New York after spending the week with her. Molly thinks she can make Chris realize he belongs with her there. Chris still loves Molly, but he feels his life is in New York and he can convince her to leave with him. The couple have a lot to work out and see if they have a future. I liked this book, it was obvious they really loved each other and belonged together.
Mountain Man's Secret Baby
In this book, Denise is working at the small restaurant in Nome and Ethan arrives when the harbor project begins. Denise has never been in a serious relationship since she moved to Nome and has never met anyone who she is really attracted to. They flirt with each other until Molly tells Ethan about hunting on Denise's land. That gives them the opportunity to be together and sparks fly. Later that night, someone burns down the restaurant and Denise tries to distance herself from Ethan. The people of Nome don't want the harbor development and soon more threats come. Ethan and Denise start a relationship and when things get really dangerous, Ethan gets hurt and they are forced apart, but for how long. I like this series and I love the mountain men of Nome. They love their women and will protect them.

The Mountain Man’s Beauty
A good read. Ayla sold all of her things, packed her van with her remaining possessions and started out on an adventure after being divorced from a bad marriage. Her aunt died and left her a land with a cabin in Alaska. She wound up in a snow bank that she couldn't get out of. She was rescued by, Bill, a mountain man. He was immediately attracted to her and decided he would take her home with him and make her his. He was actually her neighbor on the mountain. As they passed her cabin she saw how in disrepair it was. Bill wanted her to stay with him until he and some of the other men got it in livable condition. Ayla was attracted to the huge man and when she awoke freezing (Bill's plan, he let the fire go out.) She crawled into bed with him rubbing herself against him thinking he was asleep. He didn't take her then, but the next night he did. He didn't want any of the men he had acquired to help him to have her. He warned her about them. The main person that he told her was dangerous she didn't believe him. Her first night alone in her cabin Trent (unknown to her) tried to break in. Bill followed his tracks and they led him to Trent's cabin. Bill wound up in jail. He said he'd take care of whoever tried to hurt her and he did. He made an example of him and now he knew no one would ever bother her again.

The Mountain Man’s Proposal

Lauren has a great fun-filled read. Merle has gone to Nome to dive for gold. The man that hired her has never met her and doesn't know that she's a woman and she doesn't know that he's a drunk. His being a drunk puts her life in jeopardy as a diver. While waiting for him on the pier by his boat, she is met by Charlie one of the unmarried mountain men who also have boats on the ocean sifting for gold. He is immediately drawn to her and for safety, he offers her the job as his diver and lets his divers go. I recommend reading how they get along.

The Mountain Man’s Bride

This is another great mountain man romance by Lauren. Chris had left the love of his life, Molly in Nome, Alaska. She loved the land and he felt he needed to make it big in New York. His parents died in an accident and left a parcel of land that was to be divided between Chris and Molly. He couldn’t do anything without her consent. She made a bargain with him that if she couldn’t change his mind about leaving and going back to the big city, she’d sign over her part! She tried to stay away but she let him into her bed and when he still left she was heartbroken again and ill! He has undone himself.

The Mountain Man’s Secret Baby

Denise worked for Molly who had owned much of the land in the Northern section her ex’s parents had left them. Now the Western section had been sold allowing cruise ships access to Nome killing the small town atmosphere! Denise didn’t mind that new people would be coming to town especially men. She was pleasantly surprised when a new handsome man came to the diner. Ethan happened to be the architect for the new dock and harbor buildings and he had his eye on Denise! He had made a friendship with Charlie. The citizens of Nome didn’t want the new harbor and someone bombed it when the workers should have been at lunch, but they weren’t and several were hurt and some were killed! This brought out information that Denise wasn’t privy to! Ethan was engaged, so she was told by his mother when they met when he was taken to the hospital unconscious! All in all a great read

He took her virginity and then left Nome, the only home she had ever known. She was devastated when he left but he obviously didn't love her to leave like that without a goodbye.  Eight years later Molly has proven to be a resourceful and good business woman with a thriving business and she is held in high esteem by the community. Chris is back. But is he any different???

Mountain Man's Secret Baby - Lauren's Storytelling At Her Best! 15 April 2018.  Denise, whom we met in the previous book [Mountain man's Bride with Molly and Chris] and Ethan [he is an Alaskan but not from Nome and is working on the new harbour being built to attract tourism to the area]. Denise is still working for Molly [a really nice young woman who appears in quite a few of the scenes - think bathroom and Ethan with no clothes on in the shower -  she is feeling rather lonely to be honest and despite Molly encouraging her to accept a date with one of the many men who ask her, she just won't as she doesn't think they are 'right' for her. Then this gorgeous man walks in and she can't keep her eyes off him.  He can't keep his eyes off her either and his name is Ethan!  The feisty little red head is driving him crazy and he has a bet that he will get further with her than any man in Nome. . .

Mountain Man's Beauty: I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I love the mountain men books and this one is no exception. It's an easy quick read I read it in about 2 hours. Ayla inherits her aunt's cabin in Alaska and she sells everything in Seattle and moves there wanting a fresh start. Not knowing what she was getting into. She was out in the middle of nowhere and her gps said the cabin was only about a mile away but she was thinking maybe she was wrong for coming here when all of a sudden she slid into a snow bank and got stuck. Looking around for her boots and warmer clothes someone knocked on her window. Bill happened to see the stuck van thinking it was tourists, but when he seen that it was a beautiful woman with plans on moving there he wanted her for himself. This is great we at book and if you want to find out what happens you must read.
Mountain Man's Proposal: Merle gets a job in Alaska diving for gold to pay her way through college.but the guy she works for is a drunk. She met Charlie on her first day and he warned her and offered her a job.They are both attracted to each other, but she doesn't plan on staying. This is a great read.
Mountain Man's Bride: Molly and Chris were planning on getting married then he decided to go to New York to take over his dad's company. He wanted more than to live in Nome. Molly was heart broken and has not dated since he left. Now it's 8 years later for a reason but does not plan on staying. Will he stay or will Molly go with him this time when they realize that their feelings have never changed.
Mountain Man's Secret Baby: Another great book by Lauren Wood. The chemistry is hot. It is well written, I loved the plot. Just when Denise starts having feelings for Ethan she learns he has a fiance. There is just enough suspense in this book to keep you guessing.

This is a quick read, filled with passion, drama, love, and a protective here. All of these books are standalones, combined into this amazing box set.
#1 Mountain Man’s Beauty
Ayla is desperate to escape from her man troubles, and moves to Alaska to a cabin which she has inherited from her aunt. When her car breaks down she is rescued by Bill, and the chemistry between them is explosive.
#2 Mountain Man’s Proposal
Merle has headed out to Nome Alaska, to work for a guy who she has only corresponded with online, to dive for gold for the summer. Charlie has lived in Alaska all of his life, and from the moment he sets his sights on Merle, there is an instant attraction, and he tries to convince her to work for him instead.
#3 Mountain Man’s Bride
We have met Molly in previous stories, and she owns the restaurant in town. Chris was also brought up in this town, but left years before to take over his family’s business, leaving a devastated Molly behind, and now he has returned, all be it, only for a week. This is a romantic, light hearted, page turner.
#4 Mountain Man’s Secret Baby
Denise is a waitress in a restaurant in Alaska, and Ethan is a building designer for the new harbour in this small town. Not all of the residents are taking kindly to this news, and several events start occurring. These two are attracted to each other, and the chemistry is smouldering.
Each of these stories is well written and flawless, and I highly recommend this authors’ work for all readers, you will not be disappointed!

Loved this Mountain Man series!
Mountain Man's Beauty is a quick read full of drama, passion, jealousy and a strong protective hero. Ayla is new to Alaska and needed saving when she was stranded in the snow and Bill is the hot mountain man who saved her. I like the way the author brought Bill and Ayla together. Another must read by a great author.

Mountain Man's Proposal is the second book in A Mountain Man Romance and I loved it as much as the first book Mountain Man's Beauty. I enjoyed Charlie and Merle's story and the way the author brought the two together. Great story, beautiful characters and an sweet HEA make this a must read.

Mountain Man's Bride is a great second chance at love story full of drama, heartache, romance, passion and twists that kept me turning the pages. Love Molly and Chris as a couple and I was rooting for them to finally get their HEA. A well written story with believable characters and a great addition to the Mountain Man series.

Mountain Man's Secret Baby is a steamy romance between Denise a waitress in Nome, Alaska and Ethan the new guy in town. Ethan and Denise's story is full of mystery, suspense, passion, romance and twists that made me want to read more. What an ending! I loved it!

This is a wonderful, fascinating Mountain Man Romance Collection and I thoroughly enjoyed reading all the books in it. What you will find in this romance collection is: drama, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, attractions, adventure, action, humor, chemistry, threats, danger, misunderstandings, conflict, heartbreak, compromise, happiness, sexual tension, romance, lust, passion, love and some steamy scenes. The characters are interesting, well developed and realistic with their emotions. The story-lines and plots are well-thought out and written, it keeps the reader’s attention. I look forward to reading more books written by this talented author.

I received this book as a gift to give an honest opinion. If you have not had the chance to read any of Lauren Wood’s books of the Mountain Men then this is your chance. This is a great collection of strong women meeting their Alpha male. The stories all have a fantastic plots each caring a different from the other. They will keep you reading page after page sort of like the saying “you can’t just eat one chip” well this is how her books are. I recommend them to any one that wants and escape from the world that they are in into the world of Mountain Man’s Fever.

arc review For honest review book 1 .Ayla moved to Alaska and finds herself in trouble .Bill finds her in the cold and this man shows her being protective doesn't mean he owns her. Cute. book 2 This story is a merla she wants to go to Alaska to gold dive and there she meets Charlie . this is a cute story book 3. This is a great story of Chris and Molly and the relationship past and present. Book 4. Denise lives in Nome Alaska when the cruise line comes to town Ethan is in charge of the project but when he notices her he has to have her .this is a very cute story

Great well written and shorts romances about men and women who live in Alaska, with the rigor of the weather and their different way of living quite rigorous too.
Each story is the meeting of someone going to Alaska or coming back to Alaska. They have to face a love that they can’t deny but they have to fight for it. There are some sex scenes in each story.

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book. A great Romance Collection of books from Lauren Wood, they are all well written, entertaining stories and have Enjoyable, Engaging characters that I enjoyed reading about. There is plenty of heat and romance that makes this a Must Read Box Set.

This is a great box set of four books but all books can be read as a standalone. There are no cliffhangers in any book. Well written with strong, well defined characters and an engaging story. I read as a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Mediocre

This was not a favourite box set, yes it has hot alpha males strong females and plenty of sexy action but there is just something missing. I found the writing style some how stiff and not really inviting the characters didn't engage you and once you read one you pretty much has the format for all. Sorry this just didn't do it for me.

Poorly written and horribly edited.

With all the grammar mistakes thoughts entire series, it made the books difficult to read and maintain interest in. I count almost 100+ errors in each book.
