I loved this book. It was heartwarming and lovely. While it had its twists and surprises, I felt that it was overall a simple love story. It wasn't too complicated and they both made the effort to be with one another. Moreover, it was a good mixture of quirkyness, sadness, humor, and seriousness. It was overall a very well-rounded book.

Awesome ! The book is super great . The story line was simple and the way the story progressed without much drama was what made me love the book more . Seriously this is the best book that I have read this year . And I have to admit the author was awesome . I love this book 💜

“Hey, Noah” was a sweet and extremely heartwarming read. The plot was realistic, which made it even more enjoyable. There wasn’t much unnecessary drama either, which I find deeply refreshing.

Riley is the PERFECT character, and I bet that anyone who’ve read the book would agree with me. Her loyalty, humility, honesty, bluntness and overall amazingness is really admirable. I wish I could be more like Riley—strong and trusting. More than anything, I wish I could be as mature as her, and to always keep a rational mind like she does. Even though things would seem to fall apart, she wouldn’t let the chaos affect her. She’d keep her cool and not worry about anything and everything until there was a reason to.

And then there’s Noah. He’s every girl’s dream. He’s a sweet, respectful, considerate and earnest (that last one was mostly directed towards Riley, though). Like Riley, he’s just a genuinely amazing person. I don’t know what more there is to say about this man, except that I wish everyone could be more like him. He’s levelheaded, and definitely a keeper in my book.

Overall, I really loved this story. I found myself grinning from ear to ear throughout the entire thing; with the occasional squeal here and there. As a reader, I have to say that I’ve managed to establish a very deep connection with these characters. I’m very impressed by the writing skills of the author, I must say.

This book was rather short and brisk. It was simple, yet kind of... complex, or sophisticated, if that makes any sense at all? I don’t really know how to explain it. Either way, this book provided me with a bit of peace, as well as a sense of temporary happiness for the time being. I’m sure other readers feel the same. These kind of books are the ones that matter to me, and they are much needed in our lives.

I feel like this book is a breath of fresh air and a nice contrast to the fucked up reality of so many people in this world. If you’re having a bad day, read this! It’ll make you feel better.

Maybe I’m overdoing it, but I don’t really care at this point. This is one hell of a talented writer, and I can’t wait to read more of her work.

10/10 (if that wasn’t obvious already)

hi. this is sandra from 2022! i’m just here to quickly let y’all know that i read this book almost 3.5 years ago—way back in october of 2018. that means that this was also among the first 40-60 (?) or so books i actually read voluntarily. (it might sound like a big number to some, but i’d only ever read books written by amateur writers back then.) my standards weren’t very high at this point in time… i didn’t even know what they were, honestly. thus, i’d like to say this: since i haven’t read this in forever, i couldn’t possibly claim that i’d still stand by this statement. i only noticed this now because someone liked the review. i have noooo idea how i’d feel about it today. however, i doubt i’d give it a 10/10 knowing how i feel about most literature in this day and age. i’m pretty sure that should go for every single wattpad book i read back then, too. i’ve moved onto bigger and better things!!!

~~~
this is completely unrelated, but y’all should go and check out solo leveling.
i don’t know why i’m bringing this up here, but it’s a masterpiece and a MASSIVE power trip. the visual storytelling is crazy good, our main character is both respectable and admirable (and hot as fuuuck), plus the plot itself is incredibly and super creative. i legit get all jittery just thinking about the reading experiences i’ve had with that thing, sheesh. (i’ll be rereading it tomorrow, actually.) anyway, it’s a comic/graphic novel and it can be found online for free (if you don’t feel like paying for the book—which is also available for purchase!!!) at plenty different websites; both the original novel and its graphic novel. and both of them are insanely good, too.
oh!!! side note: and i find it kinda funny how its average rating on the website i’m reading it on is literally 9.9/10–which is an insanely high number by ANY standards. i have no idea what the actual goodreads rating is, but i’m certain it’s waaaay up there. i’d sue if it weren’t.
(i just checked: out of 7.169 total ratings, the average is 4.52… which makes perfect sense, obviously. it’s literally the best fucking thing i’ve read in what feels like forever. GO. READ. IT. i know plenty other top-tier stories on solo leveling’s level. i have lists. plenty of lists. LISTS.)
~~~

but anyway!!! to get back into ‘hey, noah’, i really did enjoy it back then. i remember thinking so! and i don’t think i’d dislike it today. i’m just saying my rating miiiight drop. it could. it might not, but who actually knows? doubt i’ll ever reread it, though. thought about doing so a few years ago, but i noticed it’d become a paid story by then. kinda made me wanna give all that up. so yeaaah, lol. my point of this whole thing is that I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO SAY ABOUT THIS NKW!!! i don’t even remember what reading an actual book feels like. i’ve been 100% into manhwa these past 18 months, heh. it takes up every single aspect of my life at this point. the only thing i do is eat, read and sleep—every single day. that’s it. so yeaaaah, i’m wholly focused on that. manhwa has been a real eye-opener. they’ve been giving the most enjoyable reading experiences since i first started out four years ago. it’s magic.

another random statement (which definitely doesn’t belong here), but feel free to message me for manhwa recommendations if you’re ever interested!!! i’m obsessing over pleeeenty of different genres, lol. currently, i’m mostly into martial arts/cultivation/historical type stories, but i’m also reading everything i’ll be mentioning down there 👇🏼 right now as well. (i’m actively reading 300+ stories as we speak. it keeps me busy!)

but anyway!!! i also read a lot of isekai/nobility/royalty/aristocracy ones! i ADORE game-like settings… which includes stories with rankers/dungeons/gates/levels, stuff like that. it’s INCREDIBLY satisfying to watch these characters grow insanely powerful throughout the story—which is also something that could be said about martial arts/cultivation/historical type settings, by the way. said books tend to provide readers with the same effect. (if they’re well-written, that is.) there’s always something to look forward to in the world of manhwa! i read loaaaads of yaoi and shouen ai, too. a fair amount of action/fantasy/comedy/psychological ones as well. i’m sure i’m missing something, but i’m fairly certain that ZERO people gives a shit.

(and yes, i know. i’m all over the place here, lol.)

i could go on and on about this shit, but y’all really aren’t here for that. seriously, what am i even doing? i’ve preeetty sure been going completely for-topic for a good while now, right…?🥲

welp, this is somewhat awkward. thanks for coming to my useless TED-talk, you guys!!! don’t forget to message me about recommendations if you’re interested, though!!!!! i love to talk about this stuff.

This book was absolutely amazing. There was never a part in this book that made me want to stop reading it. I admit it took a while to read with me being busy a lot but I do try to read before I head to bed. Being so engrossed in the book, I've felt so many emotions. The cliff hangers really got to me because I'd have to pause my reading after every chapter and I'd sit there or I'd go on about my day wondering what will happen next in the book. The ending was astounding! I would definitely be reading again soon!
