Take the ride to Happily Ever After with Beautiful Biker Spencer Valentine of The Dominion Brotherhood MC. Spencer knows it’s a long and winding road to happily ever after. He’s got baggage. He has a chip on his shoulder. Recent events have woken him up, made him realize he has to get over the past and move forward.
He finds Pippa, the girl he wanted, but who belonged to someone else, bleeding in an alley on a dark and rainy night, hurt at the hands of the man who was supposed to protect her.
This changes everything. Spring brings a time for new beginnings. His new beginning. The beginning of his happily ever after. And he's determined it's going to be with her.
Spencer is possessive, protective, and like his two older brothers, 100% alpha male.
It won’t be an easy journey to take, but he’s determined to keep Pippa safe and give her a reason to trust again. Pippa has always felt the sparks flying between them, but isn’t sure she can get over what she’s been through. That doesn’t matter, though, because Spencer is 100% sure that now that she’s free, she’s his. Spencer has some healing to do, too. And of course there's drama and danger happening around them both.
This is the third book in the Beautiful Biker series, a contemporary MC romance series with alpha male biker book boyfriends and smoking hot action-packed pages.
Hot, suspenseful, and addictive MC romances with suspense, action, steam, laugh out loud moments, sexy and lovable characters, and a little bit of gritty darkness. Reading these motorcycle romances (each about a different couple but with intersecting stories) in order will provide the richest reading experience. Warning: This story deals with the aftermath of domestic violence.
DD Prince -- author of dark, paranormal, contemporary, and mindf*ck romances. Creator of book boyfriends: Tommy Ferrano, Tristan Walker, Dario Ferrano, Deacon Valentine, Daxx Blackstar, Rider Valentine, Spencer Valentine, Alessandro Romero, Aiden Carmichael, Tyson Savage, Killian Coulter, and more.
Loves: alpha male book boyfriends, smutty books with substance, fancy pens, going for sushi, cooking, and cheesy zombie flicks. I have many stories and characters to share and love connecting with book lovers and other authors on social media.
Oh my Spency, Spency, Spency, How did you go from grade A-asshat to such a protective, grumble of gorgeousness. Never would I have imagined I could fall so far down that rabbit hole and totally be digging your unique brand of badboy biker. Talk about a total 360 in terms of attitude: but also still managing to hold on to that saucy Spencer appeal.
Pippa is definitely your slice of sunlight and definitely brings out the lightness in your nature: She is so your Sunshine: banishing your grey and I so wanted you to get your much-anticipated waffles with your girl and no that's not a euphemism: I really am on about sweet sugary confection he he.
I adored Scenic Route so much: each time I read one of these beautiful biker books I fall in love all over again and Spencer for me was no exception. Here we get to delve deeper into what makes our resident ass tick and what we discover in this journey of redemption is the rhymes and reasons into why Spencer acts the way he does towards others. there are no excuses here just the whys and what forths and Spence owns his past behaviours totally: he's well aware of his own past limitations and is completely prepared to hold himself to account and prove he's worth all Pippa's love and affection if only she'd give him his chance.
I also just wanted to get a glimpse of his cheeky dimple and radiant smile made my heart aflutter in pure anticipation with its usual rarity. It was also heartbreaking to experience Pippa's self-doubts and recriminations after her imploding love life and could really get why she was so reluctant initially to jump back on the bandwagon especially considering Spencer's past track record.
This is also still a part of a bigger ongoing picture and it was great to jump back into the action with all the old gang again. the Wyld Jackals are also still stirring up the waters and Scenic Route itself had just so much going on to recommend itself in terms of ongoing and future plotlines. This was an addictive ride from start to finish and though this was a lengthy read I never once felt bored or disinterested. Colour me impressed with this: this author continues to pull it out the bag time and time again: I for one can't get enough of whatever she writes and Scenic Route is no exception. This is one book that I have absolutely no issues recommending it really was a fantastic read. I voluntary reviewed an Arc of Scenic Route (Beautiful Biker 3). All opinions expressed here are entirely my own.
This was better than book two for me, but still didn't blow me away. At least I believed in Spencer's interest/obsession with Pippa (unlike Rider and Jenna from the previous book).
I will probably finish the series because there is just enough to keep me interested and they are on Kindle Unlimited (otherwise I would not, which says a lot). But I will definitely never purchase for keeps re-read these on repeat like I do with favorites like her Nectar Trilogy and Savage Alpha Shifters series.
So, if you are jonesing for an MC book and have ran out of options, this might be right up your alley. Decent enough, just not as good those other series mentioned above, in my opinion.
If you haven't started the series yet, there's also a 3 book box set including Detour, Joyride, and Scenic Route now available & free in Kindle Unlimited.

Some early feedback from Alpha, beta, and ARC reviewers:
“Move over Rider and Deacon Valentine because Spencer has taken the top seat in this brother trio. I tell myself every time I read a book by DD that she can't possibly come up with a hotter leading man and yet she does every single time. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.” - Ri, Goodreads
“Colour me impressed with this: this author continues to pull it out the bag time and time again: I for one can't get enough of whatever she writes and Scenic Route is no exception.” – Bex, Beckie Book Blog
“Clear your minds and palates of any preconceived notions of Spencer Valentine because DD Prince blew the roof off, broke the mold and the bed frame when it comes to him. Whatever you think you know, you don’t. He is the ultimate alpha male protector and his patience and care, although may seem the antithesis of his previous introduction into the series, is right on point. He’s a three-dimensional man who has varying degrees of emotions and facets to his personality. He can still be a reader’s wet dream, the perfect boyfriend, badass biker and a jerk when the situation calls for it.”- Aphrodite, Goodreads

Also, Pippa is a beautiful unicorn of a person. 🦄 I love her character so much. She is beyond sweet and upbeat in spite of the physical and psychological trials she went through. She is stronger and brighter in nature than any character so far. She earns her nickname Sunshine 🌞 and wholeheartedly espouses it.
The Beautiful Biker Series and the dreamy Valentine brothers are imbedded in the beloved books and characters section of my heart. Scenic Route was the next chapter this series demanded and deserved! 🖤
4.75 stars. This series is growing on me. The writing and style is also getting much better. I’m glad I weathered (skimmed) through the first 2 books so that this awesome, gem of a story was much more enjoyable.
Move over Rider and Deacon Valentine because Spencer has taken the top seat in this brother trio. I tell myself every time I read a book by DD that she can't possibly come up with a hotter leading man and yet she does every single time. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
While Deacon and Rider were cavemen and alphahole's there was something different that set Spencer apart from them and that he was everything combined in one person with a touch of More. He was just as loyal, protective, possessive, loving, and charming but he was also vulnerable. After reading about him in the first two books of this series it almost felt like he was forever going to be on irreversible path spiraling towards darkness. He wasn't likable at all a couple times in those books. Yet, the author did a fantastic job of showing her audience that there must have been something there because as much as I vacillated between hating him and liking him I also was curious about him. He just needed the light to shine and a purpose.
And by light, I mean Pippa. If there was ever a woman that deserved the nickname Sunshine it was here. She is my favorite character from this series (besides JoJo) because she truly is pure unadulterated joy. My heart hurt for her and what she went through. Yet, she was resolute in not being a victim and for trying to find her way back to the person she wanted to be. She had trust issues which most women would. She was needing healing as much as Spencer was. Together they found solace in each other. She truly became the sunshine in a world that was tainted with pain, self-loathing, and darkness.
This book gave me all the feelings watching how this grew. It gave my heart a chance to believe that love can truly grow in the most unconventional places. The steamy parts, as usual, were hotter than a billy goat's ass in a pepper patch. (Hello Yoga). Sweet Mary, Joseph, Gabriel, and baby Jesus... I need to move to the Dakota's and find out what they put in the water to make the Valentine men so hot and virile... I swear my ovaries have all exploded from all of these men. Even Deke, their father, has me wanting to call him Daddy and I have never called any man Daddy (not even my own past the age of two).
I love that the author let us still see the previous characters in such a pivotal way because it bodes well that I will see more of these two who at this moment own my heart (although I fear JoJo and Christian might steal that spotlight especially after a few snippets from this book). I am looking forward to JoJo, especially after a pretty emotional scene in this book.
I need everyone to read this series and book. Be prepared this author cannot write a small book ever (and trust me, I am NOT complaining) so know going in that you will need some time. Grab a bottle of wine or cup of tea, curl up, and plan for a great journey getting to know a family that is truly one of a kind. Kudos to the author for another great book.
Knock me off my feet - I'm on a sunshine high! I've been eagerly awaiting Spencer and Pippa's story since we knew they'd end up together at the end of Detour, and was super lucky to get an advanced copy. Spencer, Spencer. He has so many issues. He's the resident bad boy of the lot, who also seems to be such a dickhead to everyone around him. Alcohol, drugs, women? Yeah, he's got those. How can I ever like such a character? Well, hang on, because I'm over the moon for this moody, possessive, desperate-for-love, a-hole. I’m still basking in the Spencer/Pippa high with a huge smile on my face. I can’t believe it was soo good. She is his sunshine. And let's not forget what a great character Pippa is. She’s smart, kind and doesn’t play games. She's shattered by a terrible betrayal, and guess who gets a chance to pick up the pieces - Squeee!! Fantastic storytelling.
I love how Spencer loves Pippa and I love the two of them together. They compliment each other so perfectly. Sunshine and rain clouds equals rainbows. If you haven't started this series, what are you waiting for?! They are so addictive. I can’t wait for JoJo’s book!
I want a dozen more Dominion Brotherhood books!! Please?!!!
I just wanna say that Spencer has totally cut all other men from this MC off. He was SO protective, SO loyal, SO caring, SO loving, SO vulnerable, he was a BEAST and every girl's sexual fantasy. I mean honestly Spencer has really change my expectation of him and with his persistence he will change yours to💖 We all got a chance to look into the soul or Spencer and all the things that darken it since he was a little boy. He wanted so bad to fill a void and release the hurt he carried that he knew it could only be with Pippa. He worked hard and tore down all her walls with his past until he won her over and it was BEAUTIFUL💖
I’m not sure where to begin with this review. Spencer & Pippa’s story is an epic love story. How two people can heal each other from a hard, turbulent past is what happens in this book. The emotion you feel is just crazy. I laughed out loud. Wanted to shake both of them a couple of times. But I cried so hard after reading what Spencer’s past entailed. Big ugly tears. The Dominion Brotherhood is an amazing group of bikers who are loyal to not only the brothers but also to the ones they love. DD Prince never ceases to amaze me with her writing. I have loved all of her books. You will love Spencer & Pippa’s story. Another Five-Star read. Kudos DD Prince you out did yourself with this book!!!
I have to say I loved Spencer! He and Deacon are tied for my favorite Valentine brother!😍 Definitely gotta love the OTT protective/possessive alpha males! Pippa surprised me during this story and I really liked that. I can't wait for Jojo's book!
I absolutely loved this book. Spencer Valentine and Pippa. I seemed to have missed this book when it came out, I gotta be honest as much as I loved book 1, i wasn't keen on book 2 but this one.... swoon. Spencer wasn't a very nice character at times in the previous books, he made mistakes and at times caused issues so I was unsure about him but I loved him. Pippa, we met in previous books, she was with a man named Joe, they were working through some issues. When the book starts Pippa is fleeing throughout the streets bloody and bruised and is intercepted by Spencer. The book deals with some serious issues, addiction and domestic abuse. There are some events retold or remembered with some details, nothing too graphic. Spencer gives her a month to recover and then sees his chance to settle on the woman for him. Pippa doesn't quite see things his way. In reality Pippa is right to hold off, she doesn't feel she can think about anybody else right now, she's just got out of serious relationship, is a bit broken and her head is a mess but in the fictional world I just wanted her to grab hold of Spencer with both hands. She does push him away for a while, during which time I was worried Spencer would resort to his former manwhore ways and Pippa would witness him kissing a girl or see him taking some random home but that doesn't happen, at least not that we know of, in fact her friends say he hasn't been seen with anyone for a while. I was so glad about this, although as they aren't together, Spencer would have every right to take up with another woman I really didn't want him to.
There are no intimate details of anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
There is ex drama. For Pippa, there is only one on page very brief scene with Joe. We do hear of his actions etc via other people but that's it. For Spencer, there is talk and reports of other women from others or within her hearing but only one serious scene where another woman makes a committed attempt to get involved with him. Spencer ignores her, there is no flirting or cheating any kind. There are plenty of appearances from previous characters and couples from previous books in series. A plethora of other club brothers from the Dominion and other clubs for potential storylines to continue the series or even have a spin off in a different charter. The book has a Kristen Ashley feel to it, i know the author is a fan and there is a hilarious reference to one of her books. There are some very funny references and Pippa's mum is hilarious esp the Easter holiday scenes. Spencer has grown up a lot in this book, he has really sorted himself out, that said I like that he's still flawed and make a mistakes. It also is a full book, I felt I must be at about 40% only to realise I was at say 12% so there is full development of the characters and their stories. HEA. There is an introductory chapter to Jo-jo Spencer's sister at the end as her book is next. Her story is hinted at in this book but only vaguely set up. There are a few other couples that seem to sort themselves out in the background of this story but there is potential to have more detail in their own books. The book not only deals with their romance but also club politics and rivalry with an opposing club which is a continuation of previous books issues, there is also family drama.
I don’t think I could ever get over how Spencer acts in the first book of the series. He’s truly grotesque and just not a good person. Definitely not someone I would personally consider H material. I can hold a grudge tho lol🤷♀️ I know not everyone has a problem w this and can get over and forgive how he was
Spencer for the WIN! Scenic Route will bring all your male fantasies to life. It is a sexy alpha male who wants nothing more than to claim his woman for himself. He is patient as he waits for just the opportunity to swoop in and save the day...... cue some bike pipes!
When we first met Spencer it was in Detour and he was a real piece of work. We see him again in Joyride and he lets his a##hat flag fly. I wanted to throat punch him so badly...... cue some karate moves!
Scenic Route shows us a whole different side to this bad boy. We get to see him fight for his lady, go all over the top protective, reveal a sensitive side of himself and get an understanding of the hurt he has experienced. Pippa is just the person he needs, because even though she is kicking herself for some bad decisions and has to give herself a few "Pip Talks", she just can't resist our resident Beautiful Biker and his energizer bunny stamina...... cue some steamy moments.
I loved the journey of Spencer and Pippa and it was a wonderful ride to see him mature and her realize that she deserves to love again. I HIGHLY recommend this amazing book!
Spencer and Pippa’s story was full of drama and I loved it so much. This couple is special in so many ways because they are both broken from their past, they each have reservations about love and forever, but they still try while being true to themselves. Spencer is a rough and tough young man, but so beautiful like all the Valentine men, and is not very trusting, which made me want to give him a big hug. And poor Pippa, with the devastating ending of her relationship with Joe, she believes she is not able to have a fulfilling relationship. Beautiful biker story ❤️
I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntarily, honest review of it.
I LOVE this ‘Beautiful biker’ MC series! So I was very looking forward to ‘Scenic route’ the new book in the series. This is the third book in the series and it is the story of Spencer, the youngest brother of Deacon and Rider Valentine (whose story we got to read in the first and the second book). If you have read those books then you have already met Spencer in those stories and then you will probably agree with me that he was acting like an immature, annoying little brother in both books. So I had my questions about his/this story but having read a lot of books from this writer, I had total faith that DD Prince would me let fall in love with Spencer too. So I started this book with a totally open mind about Spencer and I’m so glad that I did because the writer did her magic and let me fall in love with him!
Pippa thought that she found her HEA with her boyfriend Joe but sadly that all changed one night. One terrible night was all it took to change her future forever. Luckily, Spencer Valentine was there to help and protect her. Pippa needs time to heal after her breakup with Joe but Spencer has been wanting her for a long time. So he’s watching and protecting her and making her feel things that Pippa isn’t ready for or is she? Pippa doesn’t know what to do, friends and family are trying to help her in different ways. But at the end she has to decide if she’s ready again to open her heart to love or not.
After almost losing his brother Rider, Spencer realizes that life is previous and that it can be over in a second so he tries to be a better man. But when the woman he has been wanting for months is suddenly single, he will do whatever he must to make sure she becomes his. He will not be stop, not by her ex-boyfriend, family, friends or his enemy. He needs his Sunshine in his life and in his bed.
I really loved the version of Spencer in this book. He was really mature and ready for a relationship. He was loyal, intense, protective and a hot alpha man. I really liked Pippa and Spencer as a couple. They were really what the other needed.
The story is told from Pippa’s POV. The writing pace is very fluent throughout the whole story. I was very happy to see the characters from the previous books again, the Valentine brothers and their girls and the other guys of the MC club. Although ‘Scenic route’ is the third book in the series, I don’t think you have to read the other two books in the series to read this one. Because the writer takes the time to explain things that has happened in the previous books. But if you can, start met ‘Detour’, the first book, because the whole series is just great!
If you’re a fan of Kristen Ashley’s Chaos MC series you really have to try this one too.
Pippa is Jenna’s friend and also works in her salon. She was in a relationship with Joe the first 2 books. Things in this book changed. The story starts with Joe beating the hell out of Pippa and her making a run for it. Spencer finds her in an alley bloody and beaten. Sweet sweet Spencer is there for her on the worst night of her life.
Spencer has wanted Pippa since book 1 but she was with Joe. He didn’t think he would get a shot with her. Now that they are broken up and she is healing from the emotional and physical wounds from that relationship, Spencer decides to make his move. He is not letting his chance pass him by. Ready or not he’s making staking his claim.
“Baby?” “What?” I groaned. “I’m gonna sleep on your floor right here. I just wanna be near you. Wanna hear you breathe while you sleep.”
OMG!! Even drunk and heartbroken Spencer made my heart happy. Pippa couldn’t stay angry and resist that to long. Don’t blame her!
Anyway loved the story. Was definitely pleasantly surprised by Spencer since he was an Ass in the first 2 book.
Again D.D. I’m gonna need Chris and Jojo’s book very soon please and thank you
I have never read a book character more worthy of the title book boyfriend than Spencer Valentine. His patience, persistence, and the lengths he was willing to go to for Pippa melted my heart. Pippa is his Sunshine which you will genuinely feel as you begin reading this stirring romance. Pippa is understandably leery of a relationship but I was never so happy when she finally let Spencer in. This book made me feel so many different emotions but the main one was happiness because this is a beautiful romance of two slightly damaged characters who absolutely deserved a happy ending. I am gushing a bit but I recommend this book! Hopefully it will brighten your day too!
Spencer has had a chip on his shoulder since he was young, his mother helped keep it there and now he makes sure to stay away from her. After a huge wakeup call from his family, Spencer has stopped being self destructive and is focusing on living a life he can be proud of. He has always been attracted to Pippa but she was with her long time boyfriend but when he finds her hurt in an alley, he wants to get to the bottom of who hurt her quickly. Finding out Pippa is now single, Spencer takes his chance getting close to her. Pippa though is worried she is not ready to put her heart out there again, but Spencer is not letting up. With threats to his club and Pippa, Spencer is doing his best to show he is the man who will always have Pippa's back so what happens when she finds out he has been hiding something from her?
Amazing, I was not sure if I would ever warm up to Spencer because he had been such a jerk in the previous books but he redeems himself completely. I really liked Pippa, she is a soft hearted person and loved her family. Wonderful addition to the series.
Another fantastic story! I started on this book when it first came out and just wasn't feeling like reading much at the time, I finally after a year found my way back to it (after reading the latest book about JoJo) and so glad I did. I wasn't sure I was going to like Spencer as much as Deacon and Rider but I think I might like him just a bit more than the other Valentine brothers, he was so sweet and determined in this book and I'm always a sucker for the damaged heroes. Poor Bronto though, I know I mentioned it in my book two review and I know there isn't plans for a book for him but a girl can hope.
I received an ARC in exchange for and honest review. This was over a 5 star read for me!!! I loved this book. I wasn’t sure what to expect givens Spencer’s history in the previous books but I wasn’t disappointed!!! I loved this side of him and Pippa.... poor Pippa! I loved her after everything she went through. I’m so glad Spencer was patient with her and didn’t give up!!! When they finally got together the sparks were flying. They were hot!!! I’m so glad Spencer didn’t turn out to be an a**hole!!
When the MC ladies got together I laughed out loud so much!!! I also think I see some future books coming together!!! Awesome addition to the series!!!
Spencer Valentine has a dark and traumatized past which contributed to poor decisions. He turned a new leaf since Pippa turned up in his life. Pippa found Spencer attractive, but she was i a relationship with Joe. When Pippa's world crumbles Spencer just happened to be there. He wanted to help Pippa turn her life around to find herself again. Pippa resisted his pursuit and persistence. She would not allow herself to risk falling for him, only to be heartbroken again. Iam so glad she took thst chance because I just adore them together. Expect angst as this is about M/C Brotherhood and they are not boy scouts.
I Loved loved loved the first 2 books in this series. I had a feeling Piper and Spencer were heading for their own book and I was half excited and half scared because Spencer wasn't shown in the best light in the last 2 books. I figured DD is known for writing her bad and I mean seriously bad boys so having read all her other books I know what to expect and never had any issues. This book just fell flat for me, maybe I had too high of an expectation? I dont know. And seems like I'm the minority here and seriously this is strictly my personal thoughts and opinions but Pippa and Spencer let me down. To me Pippa was a Whiny woe is me little girl who couldn't make up her mind. And Spencer was so far from the hardcore biker I was expecting, he was like the chick in the relationship. Chasing after the guy even when they tell them to get gone, it's only a one night stand over and over and over. I know its because of the "triggers" that Pippa is this way and Spencer is showing how he can help her through the trauma but this book just showcases Pippa *bitchi*ng at people or crying and basically getting her way and everyone just takes it because she's been through alot. Not my style, sorry. I've been a victim of domestic abuse and yes its hard to get through so I'm really not making light of what this book is about at all. I usually love all of DDs books this one just really didn't work for me.

First let me say that this is an unsolicited review...no ARCy goodness this time around. I love love love DD Prince, she is amazing and with each book she writes her creative voice just keeps getting better which is fantastic! It's been a great ride so far and I'm excited for what's next😊 Ok to the Spency & Pippa review... As I have devoured the other Beautiful Biker books I just knew Spencer was going to have a great story because he was a complete 🍆 with just a few glimpses of that Beautiful Biker greatness that his brothers had in their stories. But for the most part he was a shit in their stories and the biggest difference with Spencer's was that he had to redeem himself and redeem hisself he did. His character development and back story is perfect to have you just as in love with him as we are with his brothers...well at least I'm in love anyway lol. I love a strong heroine that isnt crying into her corn flakes at every turn but isnt so strong that you are mad at her character in the story. I totally got that with Pippa and the way she is trying to rediscover who she is after being devastated. She works through what she wants with the world wind of MC drama and determined biker hotness dogging her heels. Another big PLUS is all my favorite couples and characters are weaved in so it just feels like home to be back in their world. It hit all of my checkmarks... Hot Sexy Time✔✔✔ MC drama✔ Excitement ✔ Beautiful Bikers✔ Great Ending✔ The wait for Jojo's story is going to be hard but worth it!!! Come on 2019!!! ✌🏽
Finally we get to meet Spencer Valentine, the third son of Deke Valentine. And I say this because in the other 2 books the impression we had of him was not good, he was an asshole most of the time but in this book we can see his good side. When Pippa is beaten by his boyfriend Joe, is Spencer who finds her and take care of her. Pippa is scared at first because Spencer is pretty clear attracted to her and she is not ready for a relationship after Joe. But Spencer have the patience and other skills to win her over. ❤️ how sweet he is. ❤️❤️❤️❤️this series and this brothers.
Awesome!!! The better news is at the end of the book it says there will be more... Hopefully soon and I can't wait!! This is Spencer and Pippa's book. Yes if you read the other two books then you know she was with Joe.
Spoilers:
Spencer found Pippa in the alley beat up and bleeding. He took care of her and got her to the hospital and stayed awake to take care of her and make sure Joe didn't get near her again. Yes you read that right... Joe beat her up because she caught him drinking and doing drugs. Spencer has always had a thing for Pippa. His "Sunshine". Never knew Joe was an recovering alcoholic. Never thought he was good enough for her either but after he took care of her he wasn't letting her go. Spencer has a dark past. The way he grew up with his crazy mother. Many more things that you can read about. Pippa finally let's him in and not even knowing , she starts healing him. The other MC that is causing all the problems is still at it, still going after the women, still trying to take the good guys out so what are they going to do about that? Hopefully they won't be a problem much longer.
Spencer is definitely my favorite Valentine, I can totally relate to him and his demons, but don't get it twisted because I 💜💜💜 ALL the Valentine boys. But I also can relate to Pippa, it took a strong woman to bring Spence down, no doubt!!!! Great book 3 to this awesome series, absolutely recommend...but Spencer is MINE, just saying 😉
YES!!!! I loved this one and I honestly wasn't to sure if I'd be fond of Spencer but I loved him so much. After not really enjoying book 2 in this series, this one has restored my interest in this author. I loved the turn around that Spencer made in his life after the events in the previous book as he was portrayed previously as a big jerk really so it was great getting in depth details of Spencer's childhood/youth, it explains so much of his previous behaviours, while still jerkish, at least more understandable. I loved how he pursued Pippa and slowly opened up to her, they had really great chemistry together. Pippa was awesome, she had such a big heart and while some may say her judgement with her ex was wrong, with giving him a second chance after the first incident (and I agree), it wasn't like she didn't make him prove to her it wouldn't happen again, by him getting professional help and an ok amount of time lapsing before reuniting. It was horrible what happened to her and I was glad she stuck to her guns with getting charges laid AND followed through with them. It was refreshing that she resisted Spencer for as long as she did and didn't happily jump straight back into a relationship. She resisted as you would expect and I liked she didn't jump as soon as he clicked his fingers. She made him work for it, which was great. Oh and her family members were hilarious and I loved their banter. Lots of interesting secondary characters, who I'm looking forward to reading a bit more on. We also got some closure on the overlapping plot from the previous books with the Wyld Jackals gang. I really enjoyed Pippa and Spencer's ride to their HEA. Overall a fantastic addition to the series.
