Oh my God
Man what a cliff hanger. I really hope there is a part 2 bc baby I'm confused. I can't believe her daddy would put her out like that. I just don't understand why her mom was trying to do her like that either. Its a very good read though. I just need answers!!

Talk about drama shock twists and turns ! Angela SMH needs a good beat down, Charles I get it he's upset but he just delivered his child to a crazy chick oh the shyt is gonna hit the fan. Then there's the sisters being raped WTF is Tameka thinking..... I hope there's another installment coming great read thank u

Always satisfied with Linettes work
All I can say Is GREAT WORK! Already needing part 2! Angela is a monster, Charles need to get his head out of his behind. Jade is young, naive and spoiled. Tameka needs to get some act right. All that together in one book... Priceless

Page turner
I really enjoyed this book.. The chain of pain from mother to daughters was good. The ending perfectly laid the work for book two. Starting it now.

Great 5 star read. Jade a very sheltered girl by her father gets herself in a crazy situation. Angela the horrible mother who is crazy as a bed bug. Charles the father most daughters would love to have. Tyrone the cheating ass husband who can't be faithful. Tameka the jealous. A lot of secrets being held. Will they finally be exposed?? Hopefully Charlene and Charles get together. Definitely can't wait for part 2. Very good read!!

I couldn't put this book down from beginning to the end. The storyline was popping. Angela is a certified crazy but. Jade is to trusting can't wait til part 2.

Interesting book
I chose this rating because the book was quite good.
It has a few grammatical errors but not so much that it kept me from enjoying the story.
Kate's mother was certifiably crazy!!
What parent let alone a mother would even consider doing such outrageous things to her baby?!!
As for Charles he should've had Angela's behind arrested when he first discovered she was violent towards his daughter.
Will Charles and Charlene get together?
Will Jade and her stepfather be a couple of will they just coparent?
How will Angela act when she realizes her grandbaby is also her stepchild?
I can't wait to read part 2!

This was crazy but I think the karma is for her mother not her...such a shame The thing that is crazy is the fact that she settled with two men who wanted kids...bad decisions on her part. If you don't want kids make sure you are with someone who feels the same because there are a lot out there and then once you have the child be the bigger women and just leave why hurt the child even more...but here on to book 2...until next time

It Was Okay
I mean I was interested on how it was going to come out but it really did not surprise me I will still finish the series . I hate that Jade had that flashback at her most vulnerable state right now . I'm shocked that Charles reacted the way he dd though that did and through the loop. Jade best friend is so trice ugh Jade better than me some stuff you just can't come back from.

oh please. really????
the story was good up too a point. it got ridiculous about half way through, because unless its a town, population 115, the world just isnt that small. especially when at least three of them live out of state. yes its a small world, but not that freaking small.

Breeding Like Jack Rabbits!!!
It's some what refreshing to see such an honest representation of day to day African American life in america. Usually all the media tries to make everyone believe is that all African Americans are like Carl Winslow and the Huxstables, when we all know this is just a fantasy created by the media.
