4.5 stars - Patrick Westman's jealousy gets the better of him a few times, but the sizzle he and Annabelle "Annie" Argotos share is white hot! They tempt fate too many times for there to be more than one solution to Patrick's attempts to remain hands off.

Of course, his shoulder devil, a.k.a. Nick, makes sure to plant plenty of ideas. LOL! I like that we get to see some of Nick. I love his candor and how his insight gives Patrick something to think about.

Annie is feisty and gives as good as she gets. I like that she tries to make her teenage crush a whole lot more.

There are times that I wish Patrick would finally get over his hangup, only for him to backslide and drive me crazier than I already am. He makes a lot of decisions based off what he thinks Annie wants and needs, but he's crap at communicating and confirming.

Even as maddening as he is, I really like this series, and I'm glad I revisited it. Next stop: More Than a Voyeur.

H = 30s; h = 24

Here are my individual reviews for each book. Happy reading! 📚💋

The Voyeur 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 - Not Complete Strangers
I read this several years ago but decided to revisit before reading the newest story in this series, More Than a Voyeur. It was the right decision! I love the way things start with Patrick and Annabelle "Annie" Argotos, and how it plays out.

Even as a teenager, she’d been drawn to him, this stranger in a photo. There was something about his smile and his eyes that made her feel safe.
-- Annie Argotos

This is a tease in many respects, but I still love it. On to the next installment in the series.

Watching the Voyeur 🌟🌟🌟🌟 .5 - He Should Run Marathons
4.5 stars - Annabelle "Annie" Argotos has a spirit and backbone that I appreciate. Patrick is so far in over his head with this woman, even when he thinks he's in control, that it's utterly hilarious! They do have an interesting dynamic.

He grabbed Vic’s letter and fled, shoving his dick back into his pants. This was the third time today he’d acted like a coward, not a marine, and he’d only been around her for a few hours.
-- Patrick

Fleeing seems to be Patrick modus operandi. I wonder if he invests in track shoes. 🤔😂 He even drives me to the brink of insanity. Nick is insightful, and I can't say that I fault her logic based on Patrick's actions.

Of course, when he isn't being a dipshit, the chemistry between them is explosive! I can't wait to see where this goes in the next installment.

Touching the Voyeur 🌟🌟🌟🌟 - Defining What Counts as Sex
Annabelle "Annie" Argotos and Patrick really know how to drive each other, and me, crazy. This no sex thing is so tortuous that it's borderline hilarious, especially when you consider that he defines sex to include only c 🍆 into p 🍑. Penetrating anywhere else? Not sex, of course! 😂😂

They liked each other—a lot. They wanted each other—a lot. Doing everything but having sex was foolish.
-- Annie Argotos

I love their love/hate chemistry, but I'm ready for them to seal the deal. 😘

Loving the Voyeur 🌟🌟🌟🌟 - Can't Fight These Feelings Anymore
Just when I thought the tension broke between Annabelle "Annie" Argotos and Patrick, he goes and builds it up again. He really know how to drive a girl crazy! Ugh! 😲

He hated when she didn’t let him hold the door for her. Good, because she…she couldn’t hate him so she’d settle on annoying him in any way possible.
-- Annie Argotos

I like where this was heading at the end, but I wanted more. Correction: I needed more.

4 Stars. The Voyeur Series is a 4-book set, by an author whose work I’ve read and enjoyed very much in the past. Patrick (our H) and his friend, Ethan, had sworn to their Marine brother, Vic, that they would always watch over Vic’s little sister, Annie (our h) if he couldn’t be there. Vic’s last mission as a Marine left him a damaged man, so when he left family and friends behind during an episode of depression, Ethan and Patrick stepped up. Annie, however, has completely different ideas. She is NOT the innocent virginal child the guys like to think she is, and she refuses to be treated that way. She’s a twenty-something woman, full-grown. She wants to explore some of her sexual desires, and she knows just who she’d like to have join her in those activities: one of her brother’s best friends and the guy she has loved from afar, Patrick.

Patrick is equally drawn to Annie. That makes his duty a conundrum to carry out, particularly since Ethan has been called out of town and can’t be there to nip things in the bud. Along the way, Patrick falls in love with Annie. He may not realize it or admit it, but he has. So, he’s torn in two different directions: how to make her his without making her his. It’s so cute. He does everything he can to pleasure Annie short of “having sex.” Every act of foreplay under the stars is dabbled in, while Patrick tries to convince himself these acts don’t step over Vic’s line in the sand. Meanwhile, Annie makes sure she does everything she can to tempt Patrick into a full relationship with her. Familiar with the term “blue balls?” I found Patrick so endearing. But, just like Annie, I was also very frustrated their relationship couldn’t move forward more quickly. With this being a 4-book set, their antics amounted to a very prolonged session of edging. I must say, though, the author is highly adept at creating some very melting, scorching, habanero-hot scenes for Annie and Patrick. They definitely got their HEA, but I would like to hear more about how the future turns out for them.

OH, MY Giddy Aunt Ellis O'Day is one Hot and Steamy Author! I pick up one series and find that I have to read the next and the next. Good thing I have more than one kindle because as soon as I finish one series I pass it on to my husband to read. This book is just what the title says it is all about Annie being a voyeur. She works at The La Petite Mort Club as a maid and Patrick catches her watching a scene while she is supposed to be cleaning. Things get a little heated before he discovers WHO her brother is. BUT by that time Chemistry has already started to take hold and we all know that once that starts up nothing changes things. This book is steamy with BDSM and lots of push and pull before Patrick and Annie ignite the pages.

I didn’t like this book very much because of the story was about our H not being able to be in love with our h because of loyalty to h’s brother. Really…That is just stupid when your a grown women.

My god Anne & Patrick, Hot as hell!! Patrick typical Ex-Marine. part of a team of men who protect, & honor & serve. When one is down then the others step in to take care of their families. But Patrick has gotten addicted to Anne, he BFF, brother in arms Vic who has been missing on the streets since coming back from the mission. The mission that Patrick should have been on. But had to deal with the death of his father. Stay with his siblings & mom before he could go back to duty.
Patrick has blamed himself ever since. Believing it was his fault for Vic's MIA.
Anne is strong, independent, but is interested in exploring her sextual desires. She has desired Patrick for years. As a teenager crush, but now a woman who wants to explore that masterpiece.
Unfortunately, working at Ethan's sex club as a maid, she is protected by all of her brother's BFF's. They treat her like a little girl, she is off limits. Just like all her brothers & Vic have done all her life. No man can get near her. The one's she has loved left her. Her father, now Vic she is vulnerable to abandonment.

In the previous chapters, Patrick has made every excuse to not have sex with Vic's little sister. Since she has been interested in watching sex acts at the club, he has used that as an excuse to do everything other than screw her from the front. Trying to convivence himself that it's not sex. Why do men think that sex only means the front end? Especially to a woman... Intimacy, exploring are real sexual desires.
Anne knows it's more than physical, but she is hurt & won't forgive the way he treated her after making love to her. Patrick was hurt very badly when he was in love once. Which is why he never got attached to anyone, just fulfilled his physical needs at the club. But Anne is a different woman. A woman, with passion, desire, interest & willing to explore. Can Patrick admit he loves her & face Victor. Is he willing to take the chance & believe that Anne one desires & wants him forever? Read the ending of this chapter to find out how their story ends.

What Patrick doesn't realize when he enters Victor's hospital room is that he didn't fool his brother in arms. The moment he brought his little sister to his room he knew his BFF; Brother was in love with Anne. He also knew he was a good mam & would take care of her. Right now, Victor needed Patrick to take care of Anne. He had to leave again, which just nearly destroyed Anne, now the two men she loved the most were leaving her again. What Anne doesn't realize is that Victor was going to get help. He needed to get his act together & be the strong Marine he once was. Not just physically, or for his country. But emotionally, mentally & for his family.
When his partner has found Victor & the VA hospital after being beaten up on the streets. He tries to pawn Nick, Hunter to tell Anne, but they tell him he needs to be a man & face her. Stop having her think she is dirt, when in fact she is his everything. When it comes to sextual pleasures she is a diamond in the ruff.

Anne was determined to get Patrick into bed. Boy, does she succeed. Now they have to deal with the consequences. When Patrick's doubts, come into play after seeing a picture of his brothers at arms from war. He tells Anne what he has done to her is horrible & has to leave. Anne looks as this as rejection & another man abandoning her. She believes she is not worth a man's love because she is interested in watching sex acts. What Patrick doesn't understand she only wants them with him. Not another man. But she wants to be treated like a woman, not Victor's little sister. The men in Victor's corner need to grow up, give her space & realize that she is not a child. Nick seems to respect her & understands her needs. He tells his fellow brother Patrick that he is an idiot if he lets her go. Time to be a man & fess up his emotions to her & Victor. Can Patrick do that, Love & protect Anne? Still be loyal to Victor?
Can Patrick follow his heart & admit that he is the only one for Anne? Read the sexy couple to find out?

Awesome Series Collection!!!!

I absolutely loved reading The Voyeur Series Books 1-4!!!! All about Annie Argotos a young maid who is going to cooking school and the baby sister of their BFF & Patrick her brother Vic’s BFF and ex-marine. Annie is Vic’s baby sister and he went into the military and became a Marine with his two BFF’s Ethan & Patrick. When they retired from the military Vic was a broken man, and was unable to stay in society, so he became homeless. They have repeatedly looked for him, but he vanished. Annie is still looking as are his BFF’s, nobody is giving up. Because Annie is Vic’s baby sister the guys must take care of her, even though she refuses to take their money, she’s not opposed to working at the club. La Petite Mort Club is owned by Ethan, and all of his friends are members plus many other rich and powerful people. It’s a premier pleasure entertainment club, that caters to all kinks, has an incredible chef, and lots of gaming as well. The staff is well trained, payed well and given medical and dental insurance. Annie is a maid, and she enjoys being a voyeur, unbeknownst to Ethan or Patrick. Patrick discovers an adorable curvy maid, watching the different club rooms with interest, he’s turned on. He’s tasked with keeping an eye on the club & Annie while Ethan is away for two weeks. Read about Annie & Patrick, as he not only discovers she’s into watching, but she’s the little sister who is off limits!!! Lots of emotions, and toe curling incidents throughout this entire series. The author did an amazing job, pulling the reader in with her amazing characters!!! This is a definite Read!!!!! I loved it, and can’t wait to read more about La Petite Mort Club!!!!!

Let me start by saying that the heat level in this series is over the top! There are scenes that will blow your mind and twist your senses. Our main characters stay away from the real thing for most part of the story, but at the same time remain close enough to the flame to get burnt. After a brief explanation of the atmosphere, let’s see if there is anything else behind the hot parts.

Well…. Yes, but not as much as I would have expected. Patrick sees Annie and is quite captivated by the little maid, only to find out she is one of his best friends’ sister, this making her unavailable. Moreover, she is now under his protection, until said brother is found (details in the book). I liked the loyalty between these guys and the respect they have for their own private lives. I liked as well Annie’s wish to be independent and to work her way through life. She knows her boss is her brother’s best friend but she does not want any favors. The girl has dignity!

Still, I would have wanted more depth into the characters’ personalities. Also, the way they are instantly attracted to each other gave me the impression of being a little forced. I felt they were more driven by the scene they were watching, not the excitement of having seen one another. The overprotective nature of the guys around Annie was also exaggerated. I was waiting to see if the girl had anyone stocking her or if she was in the wrong kind of neighborhood. I would want to get away myself!

But all in all, this is a fun, quick read. I do advise you to read the entire series and as well as all other books by Ellis O. Day. She has a way with words and scenes that is off the charts! I liked it, 3.5 stars. Happy reading!

The story and writing itself are good and a smut lovers dream! I would have rated it 5 stars for what is... except this isn't a "book" series. It's more like a compilation of incomplete short stories.

Only 75% of the content in each book is the book, and the rest is ads or free looks at other books in the series, which is usually awesome! Except there are only around 100 pages to begin with. I wouldn't mind the books being short or broken up if the content of each was a full story, but it just abrubtly cuts off, and it isn't a cliffhanger as much as just....stops? Instead of doing this as a book "series" it should probably be Vella episodes, or all of the "books" should be compiled into 1 true book. It would still be a short book even if all 4 in the series were compiled into one. Especially since it takes all 4 to make one complete story.

I read all 4 in this series yesterday, as well as 2 "books" of her other related series, and it truly made it difficult to read them because I had to skip the beginnings and ends of each "book" and work to get to where it left off because of so much additional content.

All this being said I'm excited to read the rest of the authors work. It's good smut. But you can tell the "books" were one story posted in an episodic way at one point somewhere, and instead of doing the work to compile it into a single book it was released as a "series" of books when that's not truly what the content is.

I first read book 1 and instantly was hooked. *spoiler* I was able to get the series and I was not disappointed. Annie loves to watch people have sex, but she also has had a crush on one of her brother's Marine buddies (Patrick) since she could remember. In this series she gets the best of both worlds... Patrick caught Annie watching and tells her he'd show her around the club. Annie soon finds out that watching is great, but having some fun of your own while watching is amazing!
Patrick has known of Annie for years, but didn't realize who this vixen actually was when he caught her watching people have sex. He's fascinated by her and wants to show her more. However, he finds out who Annie is and he's troubled (for lack of a better word). He knows he should stay away, but he can't and doesn't want to. Has everything he's looked for could be found in Annie? Can Patrick see Annie as anything but his friend's sister? What happens if his friend finds out how Patrick feels about Annie? I loved every minute of reading this series. I didn't want it to end.

They were brothers who continued to watch over each other. Vic and Ethan had gone on a mission together that had gone badly. Vic hadn't come back the same and a few years later, eventually disappeared. Vic may be gone, but Ethan and Patrick were honor bound to watch over his family. So when Annie, Vic's little sister, wanted a job at La Petite Mort Club Ethan put her to work in housekeeping.
Enter Patrick when he catches her watching a scene through one of the mirrored windows and decides to play. The story will take you through the two weeks of Ethan having to leave town for a wedding and what happens between Patrick and Annie. What a great series with Safe, Sane and Consensual always being at the forefront.

Annie and Patrick are attracted to each other for years but he was away in the military and she was in college and then taking care of her sick parent.
Annie is working as a maid at the club(a sex club) owned by Ethan a close friend of her brother Vic.
Patric runs a security company, but will be running the club force weeks while Ethan is gone. On his first day he finds her watching through a one way mirror and wants her bad, not recognizing her as its been several years and she's a woman now. But she's his buddies little sister, he has to stay away.
Read their journey of exploration and see if they can find a way to each other.

The voyeur gets to play too in the club
I have become an Ellis book fan with reading all 3 books in La Petite Mort Club series. Annie who is working towards her Culinary Arts degree works as a maid at the club, because the owner who was in combat with her brother won’t let her have another position. Yet Annie has a voyeur side that Patrick, a combat friend of the owner discovers and narrates her body to the scene in front of them. When Patrick finds out that the woman he was just playing with was his combat mate’s little sister, he ends any future plans with Annie. But Annie and Patrick are thrown together, and fate is too tempting to keep them apart or is it? You have to read to find out and will enjoy every page!

Four book complete series with HEA. Patrick is put in charge of watching over the La Petite Morte club while his friend is away. Annie is a maid at the club who enjoys watching the scenes at work. Patrick is part of a friend group that joined the military together. Annie's older brother is part of that friend group but her brother hasn't been the same sense returning home. Patrick and Annie have HOT chemistry! Patrick has doubts and insecurities that send mixed messages to Annie. I enjoyed this book series it has super steamy scenes and a little angst. I would love to read more from the secondary characters in their friend group!

The Voyeur Series. A fun read

Ellis O. Day is quickly becoming my favorite author.
Disclaimer: I got book 1 free from Wild Hearts Romance and due to some of their policies, I received the rest of the books through Amazon.

I like the tension between Annie and Patrick, and can understand the little sister feelings conflicting Patrick. Patric and Ethan were in the Marines with Annie’s brother Vic. The guys from Club Petite Morte are looking out for Annie in Vic`s absence. Great love emits throughout this series of books. But what is Vic`s story?

Loved reading Patrick and Annie's story. The attraction between them is so undeniable and only made more fun to read about given how Patrick tries to resist the attraction once he finds out who Annie is. The scene in Ethan's office when Patrick is trying to play cool and Nick knows something has happened is, as they say, "priceless". I love stories like this that aren't just about the kink, we get a true story happening between the characters, great humor, and a look at what is happening at the club. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Fast paced and scorching hot. Patrick can't keep his hands off the fiery Annie, even though she's supposed to be off-limits. It does that this pair a while to admit their feelings, but the chemistry is there in spades. The four short story/novella length reads in this set are a continuing story that makes for an entertaining, sexy tale of forbidden romance. It's fan yourself steamy with just the right amount of angst to keep the story moving.

Steam steam and then some.

I enjoyed every minute of this book. Patrick gave Annie so much pleasure even though he insisted not to go all the way. I love the way this Author writes about the things that happens in this club, there is something for everyone , hard core, mid range or just a touch of that something extra the get your grove on. Never a dull moment, steam steam and then some.

This couple is hilarious and frustating at the same time. Patrick can only see Annie as his best friend little sister and this is so annoying for her.

She works as a maid at Le Petit Mort Club and found out that she gets turn on by being a voyeur, Patrick accidentaly catches her and wants to satify her needs, but after knowing who she is he tries to keep his hands to himself.

Here´s where it gets frustating...i can´t get enough of these couples at Le Petit Mort Club.

Really enjoyed treading how Patrick and Annie’s relationship progressed. With the obstacles of Annie’s big brother, Vic and his request to his friends who served together to look out for Annie, it seems like Patrick was going hot and cold at each encounter with Annie because of the pressure to not hit on his teammate’s sister.

Annie on the other hand was confident in who she was and what she likes. She likes to watch and she’s not ashamed to admit it. I loved her!

Patrick & Annie

Loved this story. The conflict of protecting your best friends baby sister to having strong sexual pulls towards her. Patrick fell in love with Annie, Vic's baby sister, even when he knew she was to be protected, out of bounds, but as they say, the heart knows what it wants & the physical sexual pull was more than he could handle...he tried...but guess you could say she over powered his senses. Great read. (Reviewed by Lin)

Fantastic read

I received a free copy of this book however all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
This was a really saucy but essentially brilliant love story. I loved seeing how things developed between Annie and Patick, several times along I wanted to bang Patrick's head against a wall, but he gets there eventually!

He wants her as soon as he sees her but he will be in trouble if his friend sees him. She had enough of her brother butting into her life. She needs him to be with her regardless. Can she make him see beyond her brother? See if she can

Annie and Patrick's story is hot and steamy with lots of misgivings, guilt, and doubts. It seems their path to happiness is blocked from every direction. I enjoyed the fast-paced witty banter between the leading characters. Their attraction toward each other was intoxicating. Enjoyable story with lots of human feelings. Very Fast Read!!!!!

REVIEW POST - Book 47 of 2024

The Voyeur Series by Ellis O Day

4 books in 1, but honestly could have been a LOT shorter. It felt like the same stroy on repeat a few times, with the main characters going through the same conversation, arguments and feelings but in different scenes.

I think if this had been left as a novella or even just one book, it would have been better.
