1979: by Marty Liquori and Skip Myslenski- Marty opens up the unique world of the runner, offering insights on everything from running shoes to diet to sex to pain to the greatest runners of our time.
The most entertaining running memoir I've ever read. Marty packs it all in, the training, the competition, the injuries. Because it was written so long ago (1979), probably only older die hard track fans would appreciate this book.
