Jeannette Winters
100 books353 followersJeannette grew up in a large family, number ten out of eleven children, eight of them being older brothers. She quickly developed a great sense of humor, mostly from necessity. One of her greatest joys is sitting on the porch where they were all raised and hearing the stories from years gone by. Quietly laughing to herself, she notices how they embellish the stories more and more each year.
Storytelling was passed down from her grandfather and mother. Jeannette caught the bug at a very young age. If she didn’t have her head in a book, then she was off somewhere with a notebook, jotting down stories of what she would write if one day she became an author. Although the notebook may have vanished, the stories are still vivid and waiting for the right time to be told.
Despite having an amazing family, there have also been some sorrows in her life, including the loss of loved ones. Over the years, Jeannette has spent countless hours volunteering for different organizations and acting as a caregiver to those dearest to her. As a result, supporting the elderly became of utmost importance.
As she approached a milestone birthday in 2015, she decided to take her passion for writing and blend it with her desire to continue to help others. As she writes her stories, she hopes they touch someone’s life. Within the layers of the romance, the foundation remains throughout and is one that is dear to her; make a difference in someone’s life each day!
In 2016 she met someone who encouraged her to push herself even further and try her hand at spicy intrigue. One year later she has four books in this new series and each one pushing her limits just a bit further.
Like the wind, Jeannette’s life changed directions several times over the years, yet one constant remains: her desire to leave this Earth a little better than when she entered it as she tries to live by these words, Make your mark on the world today as your acts of kindness is all anyone will remember in years to come!

I usually don't like books that end in a cliffhanger, but in this case I'm anxious for the next in the series.
The Turchettas specialize in helping those who have no one else to turn to, and Vanessa is no exception. She's on the run from her ex who is a very, very evil person and who has people in place everywhere, including law enforcement and the FBI. Gabriel is determined to keep her safe no matter what.
This book was high-intensity all the way through. I *do* wish all the loose ends had been wrapped up at the end, but that's not the way this author works and I've already pre-ordered the next book.

Great book! This series just keeps getting better. This is Gabe Turchetta’s story. He meets Vanessa Moore when he takes a forced vacation and decides that Vanessa is hiding something and needs him. Little does he know that she has been on the run for a year from an ex mob boyfriend. Lots os adventure, action and suspense. One of those can’t put it down books.

The Turchettas Promise series just gets better and I could not wait for Gabes' story.
Gabriel Turchetta, former CIA security specialist, and a top notch tech guy aka hacker lol. There is no system that Gabe cannot control. So on his down time he runs in to Vanessa.
Vanessa is on the run, and has changed her name and identity to stay hidden and off the books.
Gabe senses this and he tries to dig into her background to see whether be can help her. But to come up with nothing makes him curious as to what Vanessa is hiding. Alas the cat and mouse game begins.
There's lots of suspense, action, hot chemistry and the MOB to top it off. Then you have Beatrice and Sarge who bring in comedy but also strength, Trust, honour and integrity.
Thank you for a fabulous read cannot wait for more.

Another great read
Another great read from Jeannette. Gabe and Vanessa meet thanks to Sarge an ex/vet who needs to protect his neighbour Beatrice whom he likes quite a lot and is helping Vanessa find shelter for a bit because she on the run from an abusive ex , so while Gabe try’s to find out why Vanessa is so mysterious he ends up helping her find solace, peace and justice and give her her life back but after some time talking with his brothers they give evidence over to Rafe buddy Frank in the FBI and help take he ex Anthony Parker away for crimes he instigated.

Loved It
Gabe falls hard and fast for Vanessa even if he doesn't want to admit it - will he be able to convince her that he can protect her from her nightmare better then the FBI and will he be able to give her up if she doesn't return his feelings - and how cute is Beatrice and Sarge.

Gabe gets away from his computer
Gabe steps away from his computer and into the field and finds true love? Go figure! I liked the other love story in this book the one with Beatrice and Sarge. You get 2 love stories in this book. Glad that Gabe could find his new chapter and a life outside his computers. The whole scene in the Thai restaurant was funny. Vanessa learning to cook priceless. Another Turchetta bites the w.

Gabe, an alpha through and through
The more I learn about the Turchettas, the more I enjoy their stories. Gabe is no exception. I'm happy Vanessa was able to stop running, but the mystery of who is calling the shots in the background and how high up in the FBI he is hopefully will be answered in Josh's story, the next book.

Good Man loves Troubled Woman
Gabe is my favorite Turchetta brothers. However his personality was a limited in the book. It was stronger in supportive roles. However I did enjoy the book.

Wow, another amazing story.
Wow, this is such a great story, filled with action, repreive, more action, and lots of fun, until there wasn't. Everything seemed to be come to fruition for Vanessa. A new love, a jailed ex, and then a gun fight. The end.

Book. 4
The family is on the ball for protecting their selfs as well as lovers and friends. I enjoyed the mystery and the love story. Pleasant read and keeps your attention.

Now this is the way "banter" should always be!! Not really picking on each other or putting them down but a third party "what if" kind of thing. Had me in stitches. So funny I'd get up and laugh all the way to the kitchen to refill my tea. Quite a few parts just struck me off guard I just busted out laughing. LOL I really love this series! Well worth the read and would make the best gift ever!! To send or receive. :-)

Gabriel "Gabe" Turchetta, the tech genius of tge Turchetta clan. There wasn't anything he couldn't find when he sit down in front of a computer. He was told to take a vacation like the rest of his brothers. He found himself in Chepachet were he met Renee aka Sarge who needed his help.
Vanessa Moore was living a lie, she had been running from her past for so long. She was feeling scared, lonely and broken. She never let anyone get too close to her to see the real her.
She found herself in Chepachet staying with a woman by the name of Beatrice. The latter was smitten with Sarge and vice versa. She met Gabe when she was forced to accept his help. Despite her reservations, he was breaking down her walls. And even though she liked him, she didn't want to drag him into her mess.
Well it was too late cause the man wanted to know everything about her. Now they both found themselves on the run from her past. That said past was her ex, Anthony Parker who wanted her dead.
With the help of his family and friends, Gabe was able to keep Vanessa safe. The evildoer got what was coming to him but a good man lost his life in the process.
Gabe and Vanessa got their HEA, so did Sarge and Beatrice ;).
FOR TRUTH is the fourth book in Jeannette Winters' TURCHETTA'S PROMISE series. Wow I didn't see that one coming, loved all the twists and turns. It was adventurous, captivating and alluring. 5++++
