As an software engineer, Sharon is used to walking into a room and saving the day. When she finds a problem, she wants to tear into it and figure things out.
When that problem is dealing with her father's dementia, Sharon is at a loss. Her father, Mason, forgets Sharon's age but he knows Sharon loves him. Sharon is caught between wanting to hold onto her father and losing him bit by bit.
She's also afraid of one day ending up like him.
The thought haunts Sharon. If memories can't be backed up on a file, are they instead missives slipped into a bottle and tossed out to sea with the hope that a loved one will find them? If Sharon fades away, will she still love her husband, Kyle?
