This is the definition of a 4-star book. There are a lot of areas, where French Demystified excels, such as giving you grammar in a readable, digestible format, while all the while adopting a laid-back, dare I say, laissez-faire attitude, however, the content hits almost all the key points of la langue française. The cover art points toward a somewhat dated book, however, I found it still useful.

Best French teaching book I've ever read as a beginner back then. I started to learn French for serious due to this book. easy to read and follow, user-friendly and clear in teaching grammatical points and giving relevant sentence examples.
