Estelle has low self-esteem when it comes to her very curvy body. But when she’s seduced, bitten and turned by the sexiest, most desirable vampire in the small town of Shortfalls, her erogenous zones roar to life, becoming her favorite highway to heaven. Could un-life get any better?
Seducing gorgeous Estelle had been a highlight of Nathaniel's mostly humdrum vampiric existence, despite the fact he'd lost control and bitten her. Twice. Now she's at the door, complaining of physical changes that can only mean one thing. He is now her maker and responsible for her training, a situation that might be just the thing to add some spice to their lives. Unfortunately, Maurice, the love of his life, is not as enthusiastic.
When the newborn vampire intrudes on his perfect life with Nathan, Maurice is not amused. Nathan was careless and now they'll both have to live with the consequences. Yes, the female’s body is easy to arouse and enjoy, but routines are falling by the wayside and Nathan seems smitten for some reason. Time to take back control. The fangs are coming out and so are the cuffs.
But when danger strikes their nest in the form of a rival gang, Estelle, Nathaniel and Maurice learn they’re bound together by more than duty, sex, and blood.
Hmmm... This book was a bit all over the place for me. There was so many times when I felt like the book should be coming to a close, but it didn't. The pacing felt... off to me I suppose is the best way to say it. Instead of everything building up together it was like Issue #1 comes up, quickly handles and settled and then Issue #2 is brought up, quickly handled and resolved.
Then there was the fact that things that were HUGE and should've been monumental were sort of just shrugged off and moved on from.
The main focus of the book was on the threeway relationship, which is good, but then the rest of the book distracted from that and the way it was developing.
However, that being said, I found it easy to read except for the sudden ends for parts of the story only to start a new threat/subject of interest. I liked each character individually, however, I found as a trio they were a bit clumsy and didn't really connect in my opinion. Sure adding a third after it being only two for so long is bound to be hard, but I really only felt the connection when it was two of them (either Essie and Nathan, Nathan and Maury or Maury and Essie).
I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.
This book had humor, adventure, hot hot hot sex, gorgeous French vampires, Southern quirkiness and so much more I was not expecting. I really enjoyed seeing Estelle come into her own.
I don’t think I will look at a bridal boutique quite the same after reading this book. Fun, engaging and sexy read. I loved the humor and sassiness of Estelle.
What happens when Twilight meets Fifty Shades meet True Blood?
Estelle Podunk (yes, that’s her name) is a southern girl from Georgia with curvy body issues. She has a not so great boyfriend who seeks only his sexual pleasure rather than hers. However, she finds herself wanting to marry him. She makes an appointment at the Biteable Bride bridal shop to purchase her dream wedding gown. She hopes this will convince Hal, to propose to her. Who does that right? She is buying a wedding dress and have not received a proposal. Wishful thinking on her part, for sure.
She meets the owner, Maurice Verlaine and his partner Nathaniel Martel. Nate is her wedding consultant, a sexy hot alpha male who she can’t deem to undress before. However, he seduces her into accepting his help with purchasing the perfect dress. He begins his seduction to help her with her self-esteem issues and to show her she deserves someone better than her deadbeat boyfriend. If only her family sitting in the lounge area knew about the orgasms taking place between each fitting!
What Estelle doesn’t realize, she has walk into the wedding shop own by two vampire who have been together as lovers for 215 years. The wedding shop is a great opportunity for them to check out every bride who schedules an appointment to decide if they would be a potential blood donor. Nate is very taken with Estelle and accidental bites her during The Spring Equinox. This is a rare time that guarantees to create a new born if she drinks the vampire’s blood.
Weeks later, Estelle shows up on their doorstep explaining how she has cravings to bite random strangers and blistering when out in the sun. Unbeknownst to Maury, Nate has a special attraction toward Estelle. He immediately wants to help her transition safely into a functionally vampire by agreeing to guide her for the next 2 years. Her thirst to kill for blood is most prevalent in that time frame. Because Maury loves Nate and wants Nate to be happy he unwilling accept their new family member into the fold.
Estelle begins a journey into a ménage relationship which creates issues with Nate and Maury. Maury is more of an outsider while Nate is falling for Estelle. While I preferred the ménage relationship to be equal amongst all three of them, each relationship had a different dynamic. At times it was Maury and Estelle or Nate and Estelle. This creates jealousy and feelings of alienation. Not recipes for a perfect ménage relationship. They just have to find a balance. On the road to a happily ever after, Estelle, Nate and Maury encounter many obstacles. As quickly as these obstacles appear, they are quickly resolve. If you like your angst quickly sewn up with a ribbon while moving to the next one, this book provides that for you as a reader. I prefer my angst to linger for many chapters as opposed to three of four quickies.
Dying For A Bite has three things I love: Vampires, Ménage and Erotica. The vampire dynamic creates solutions to options we are familiar with. Just like we learn that vampires sparkle in the sun (hint hint wink wink) we learn some new tricks in this story as well. The threesome sex scenes are very well written. It’s juicy and clever; does not disappoint. I was gifted this book by the author in exchange for an honest review for Mile High KINK Book Club.
This book has ALL great things! Vampires, Erotica, Romance, Menage. OH MY! LOL
There’s some new things in the vampire story that I loved. The angst is good and quick, the romance is also good and quick but the sex is off the charts hot and not quick! Just the way its supposed to be!!!
With self esteem issues Estelle needs help. Nate is gonna help her with this by showing her just how much of a deadbeat her boyfriend is.
Nate accidentially bites her during The Spring Equinox which could, if certain things happen, create a new born. She is confused and shows up at their house wondering how she could be having such weird cravings of blood.
The things that have to happen with Nate, her boyfriend is less that excited. However, they are all pretty stuck in this relationship together. So Estelle begins her journey into a menage relationship. There’s not much other choice. But this is good for us, the reader, because it is HOT!!!
The jealousy, alienation type feelings, the possessiveness between the two men - this does not a relationship make. But the sex is HOT! That is something!! LOL
But they will have to find a way to make this work. Can they? Will they be ok with spending time together and separate?
I really enjoyed this book. The story is great and the writing wonderful. Loved the characters and the dialog between them the most.
Holy hotness this is one schmexy vampire book! I really needed this light refreshing read. Estelle has confidence issues and body size hang ups, she is desperate for her boyfriend to become her husband even if he isn't right for her. She takes things into her own hands and books a wedding dress fitting .... well things don't go quite as she planned ! Here she meets Nathaniel aka Nate/Nathan, who shows her, during her fitting, how beautiful she really is - things will never be the same after this fitting !
This book is super sexy and has scenes including M/M, M/F and M/F/M, I loved this book and the triangle between Nathan, Maurice and Estelle is perfect.
A great read, with some good twists and humour thrown in, not only did I thoroughly enjoy this book but it kept me captivated throughout, I'd highly recommend to any erotic vampire lovers!

This book reminds me of an odd mix between Sookie Stackhouse books and Anita Blake. It’s the almost ditzy Southern girl who gets turned into a vampire by two hot, bisexual men. I would not be averse to having this story happen to me. LOL Estelle is at a dead end job with a dead end boyfriend who she is hoping will propose when she meets Maurice and Nathaniel who are centuries old vampires. Nathaniel accidentally turns her into a vampire and she is forced to stay with the men so they can teach her to be a vampire. Much drama and sex ensues.
I love the interaction between Estelle and Maurice because you don’t expect them to get along so it’s more surprising. I really liked the author’s style of writing and how she wove the ridiculous into the stories while keeping it serious in the right places. This is a definite good read.
Estelle is a sweet southern girl with lots of spirit but low self-esteem who comes alive for the first time when she’s seduced and bitten by two of the sexiest vampires in Shortfalls, Georgia in this enthralling paranormal romance. Marie Booth has certainly captured my attention with her first ménage story ever, she mixed in some interesting elements that make her vampires a bit different and some humor in with all the emotional angst that would stem from such events as happened in this story. I will definitely be looking for more stories form this author and keeping my fingers crossed that maybe we’ll get some more stories from this world as well.
I just love this book it is so hot and with some good twists and humor thrown in, I so could not put down this book . I so love Nathan, Maurice and Estelle these three have you wanting and needing. To think it all star cause Estelle thought her boyfriend Hal was going ask her to married him so she want to get her dress before hand and what shop that turn out to be. To know more grab your copy today a so so so must read!!!!

I LOVED Maurice, Nate and Estelle, Marie you did an amazing job on your first Menage book!!!
The Love story to this book is great too, thank you,
and of course there are villains, I do hope you continue this as a series thank you again for my gift!
Another great book by Ms Booth. I loved the fact that for once it all worked out and the fact that there was a big girl in the book and she got the hot guys although they were vampires. I loved the chemistry between Estelle and Nathaniel and the way that she worked herself into the heart of Maurice. This was a nice refreshing book to read and it kept me entertained until the end.
This book has all my favorite things included, vampires, sex, bdsm, erotica, danger, twists, love, ménage and sexy alpha men! Take one beautiful woman that has some curves and add two very sexy, sensual and possessive vampires and your bound to have one yummy intense story! I loved every minute of this read! Great read, amazing story line and one sexy as sin ménage!
