The past and the present are finally being drawn closer together, and all the various mysteries within the Onyx Webb series are reaching a crescendo. While Onyx is trying to "live" out her days in relative peace inside her lighthouse, fate has other plans. Plans which threaten her very solitary and reclusive existence.

As I've stated in countless other reviews for this series, one of my favorite aspects is the way characters are seamlessly introduced, and then gently nudged aside to make way for other characters to take the spotlight. But what makes this a unique feature within this series is the characters that are pushed aside aren't forgotten, and instead are brought back to the foreground during various times of importance through the (many) timelines of the series. All of the characters play very important roles, some more subtle than others, but each one holds a piece of the puzzle and is a key to bringing the big picture into focus.

With this sixth installment of the Onyx Webb series, a new character is introduced, an autistic savant with an uncanny ability to profile serial killers without even knowing much about them. Newt Drystad is just what the FBI needs in order to finally, hopefully, get a lead on a serial killer who's killings have gone unsolved for years.

Things are finally being brought into a sharper focus in this series, connections are becoming stronger, and most surprisingly, it seems my wish is coming true -- the ghosts are coming out in droves. Well, maybe not droves, but Onyx is no longer the only ghost on the block. It'll surely be interesting to see what the future brings for the ghosts and more importantly, for the characters who aren't even aware that such things exist.

If you haven't yet started this series, please do. Onyx Webb is truly unique, a weird mashup of so many things that would surely appeal to a wide variety of readers. Especially those who want something different and odd and weird, but so completely addictive, you'll definitely get that with this series.

Still absolutely loving this series and still finding it difficult to review because I'm afraid I'll give something away.
It's a strange feeling with every book I read part of me hopes it's going to be the last because I desperately want to know what happens, how everything connects and how it all ends up but yet I feel such relief when I know there's more to come. I also tell myself to read slowly to enjoy the book but I can't I read as quickly as possible because I need to know where this is going.
The book opens in Pennsylvania 1989 with Newt Drystad who's an autistic-savant with genius level math skills, we spend a lot of time with Newt.
It's then 1986 and we're in Crimson Cove with Onyx and Alistar.
From there we go to Florida in 2010 and Koda and Mika.
Then we meet another new character Pipi Esperanza at Quantico Virginia and it goes on and on new characters and old all linked together somehow, some connections we know some we don't, yet.
I keep saying I don't give 5* easily or often and I don't but these books are fascinating and would make an amazing TV series.

What can I say about this sixth book in the Onyx Webb series? It’s hard without including spoilers this far into it.

I freakin loved this one! I’m learning so much more about the character’s, past and present. I couldn’t read fast enough.

Someone comes back from the brink of death. Several people die. And a new character is introduced. Newt is quite fascinating.

Onyx Webb is a very complex character. Still not sure what to make of her. She can be endearing. Now and then I feel sorry for her. And then there’s times when she scares the crap out of me.

And something bad is coming. Wish I could tell you more. Take a close look in a mirror. Wait for it. You just might see.

You’d think, with the story being told from so many points of view, and several different time periods, that it would be confusing, the reading would get bogged down. Not so. As I tore through the book, I couldn’t wait to see what would happen, but didn’t want it to end. If you’ve ever loved a story, I’m sure you know what I mean.

This is a series that’s meant to be read in order, so be sure to start at the beginning. I hope you give it a go. You’ll become addicted, just like me.

I received a complimentary copy from the authors.

I’ve cracked open (digitally) book six in the Onyx Webb series and I couldn’t be more pleased. An intriguing cross between traditional soap operas that happen to cross time and space with the supernatural that makes Twin Peaks look like Beverly Hills 90210, I gleefully began giggling as soon as I met Newt. And…I didn’t stop.

If you haven’t read this series yet, well, why not? It’s to the point now that I’m imagining actors in these roles as the story plays out in my head much like a TV series (Hello, HBO?) and it simply gets better and better.

There are so many aspects…details to these stories that makes them an absolute pleasure to read. You will be rapidly taken in by the locations, timelines, storylines, characters, dialogue and the narrator (phew).

I’m not going to go into detail on what this series is about because I couldn’t possibly begin to describe it without giving away any spoilers and this is one series that you want to savor like a well-seasoned steak with a fine wine. Chew slowly, swallow, sip, swish, and swallow, again. Repeat. Yea, it’s that good.

Another fabulous installment in the Onyx Webb serial. Newt Drystad, an autistic savant with a talent for catching serial killers is introduced. He is a great installment to the series and it looks like he is going to put some major heat under Stan Lee's derriere. Olympia gets a big reveal from Nathaniel. Compelling and well written, this book series is keeping me up at night.

So, this is still a clever soap opera. Bumping it up a star over last installment for the introduction of the autistic wunderkind, Newt Drystad.

Totally unbelievable - totally fun.

A new character is introduced in book six. His quirky, oddball behavior fits in perfectly with the rest of the characters. I like that the authors researched a documented case on his type of ailment, and included it in the dedication. This helped to validate the unusualness of his condition.

As the timelines are brought closer to the present, and more connections click, I can’t help but feel sorry for the characters, for the things they have gone through, and how unfair life has been for them. As usual, there are secrets, betrayals, and ghostly encounters. Add to that, unique and unusual characters, then throw in a few plot twists and you have a story that continues to be no less than awesome.

I received this book to give an honest review. This book series is just getting better and better. I am not sure how the authors keep everything together and weaving so well.

We are introduced to new characters one who I believe may just bring down the serial killer that has been within the books. If you have not read the books I highly recommend you start with book one.

This new character is a young boy who has been diagnosis as autistic. Though it does not hinder him in being as smart as he is. He doesn't talk until you give him a name of a serial killer and he can profile them so quickly and efficiently. Of course the FBI will want to have him though they have to keep it quiet so the public doesn't know. Newt and the FBI agent Pipi will find their way into the Mulvaney life though it is not anything to be happy about.
Now so much goes on within the book but it just flows nicely. Declan finds the thief, Koda gets to visit the other side and I am hoping he gets the answers he seeks. I am especially intrigued by these 'shadow people', what are they exactly? Also what will be happening with the mirrors? This just sounds intriguing.

Let's not forget our main person of it all Onxy Webb. Through the pages I really felt that Onxy was just wearing down with everything. I think after her last kill she feels bad and it weighs on her heavily which I can totally understand. She ends up making a new friend but I wonder what is his end game with Onxy.

It seems that everything is coming to a head and will everyone's web be linked still? Will those that seek answers get them? What will happen with Onxy? Will she keep staying at her lighthouse or can she finally just go and be at peace? Who knows. I will be jumping into book 7 really quickly.

I have received this book for a fair review, and this will not affect my judgement of the book.

A new update! I love Koda <3 and glad that the story is finally progressing more to the Mulvaneys, I cannot be happier that my wish had come true (somewhat). Book Six sadly is a little bit slower than the other books, the pace is still the same, but it seems like no one is going anywhere far this time, the three episodes are building a stage for the next few events.

Welcome a new member to the Onyx Webb series, Newt is certainly an interesting character I think I will enjoy following. He is young but a savant, and despite things working against him, he is making progress fast in his dream job, I think? Newt is like a catalyst for events to come, and it will be such a journey with him along. Aside from Newt, Olivia is fast gaining ground towards her break in life, I just hope she gets it.

Our lovable characters are struggling to move on, Onyx tries to balance the darkness within her with something positive; but things are looking grim. It feels like this is going to be a party sooner or later, I really want to know the answer to a lot of things, Hopefully the authors start throwing cake crumbs soon, I'm going crazy waiting.

Like the author's warning, Onyx Webb is truly a series you have to read from book one, much like you have to watch episode one of Breaking Bad to hook you in, because it is that kind of story. Once you start, you might become a follower, like me.

>Book Review – Onyx Webb –

>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the sixth in the series and covers episodes sixteen, seventeen, and eighteen. These books are not standalone stories. I think of these stories as the tips of individual tree branches. Each episode moves the reader farther down the branch, towards the trunk, where all the different stories will meld together. Koda and Robin are able to break through to an alternate realm, where answers are just waiting to be found. There is a new character, an autistic savant boy, whose strength is studying and solving serial crimes. A bit of humor is introduced as the boy can be brought back from a frozen state just by saying a serial killer’s name.

>The disappearance of Koda’s mother is explained, but Mika is still alive and well. For a bit I thought Declan would finally get rid of her, but Mika’s branch is still firmly attached to the story tree. There is a lot more of Onyx in this story. Situations are coming to a head in Crimson Cove. No matter what I think will happen I always seem to be surprised. I love a book that keeps a reader guessing. Once again, I am amazed at the detail in this series and the amount of work and planning it must have taken to put a story such as this together.

>This book is appropriate for a young adult (16+) to adult audience. I am giving this book 5 stars.

Onyx Webb (book 6) by both Andera Waltz and Richard Fenton is a continuation of the most amazing series on the planet. Once more readers are taken into this multi-genre suspenseful journey. A journey that swallows up readers and drags them into the action-filled scenes. Death, murder, and paranormal activity followed every page. Andrea Waltz and Richard Fenton have brought another masterfully woven tale to all. The characters are three-dimensional and will have readers hanging onto the edge of their seats trying to piece it all together. Characters like Onyx, Koda, Catfish, and Declan are also inside this 6th book. I loved following each episode with each group of characters. I felt like I was actually there going through it all instead of just reading along. The talent the writers have goes up and beyond. The anticipation of each new book is absolutely worth the wait. Onyx Webb Series (book 6) continues being held as my favorite drama adventure read. Overall, I highly recommend this compelling fictional world to readers worldwide.

this is another great book in the series. In this book we get to meet new characters Newt an autistic savant with amazing math skills. Pipi an FBI agent that works close with Newt who is just what the FBI needs to profile the serial killer in the book. Onyx is still trying to" live" her quiet solitude, new ghosts are emerging, and the old characters and ghosts are really blending in well with the new. I am really enjoying this series. Every time I read another book I tell myself to slow down and enjoy it, but just like a nice box of chocolates, I devour them very quickly. If you haven't read any yet what are you waiting for? Pick up the first one and get started, you wont be disappointed. All that will happen is you will get entangled in a web of mystery, paranormal, intrigue and a great series of books. and once you do, you wont regret it.

I LOVE the Onyx Webb series.Waiting for the next episode to arrive is sweet torture. This book added a new character;Newt. In my opinion he fits right into this wonderful motley crew created by the talented team of Richard Fenton & Andrea Waltz. As the story progress I get more & more involved in the lives of these vastly different characters.Trying to predict where the authors are going is futile,in fact I was quite angry with them reading episode 17.The Series is amazing & has something for everyone,a smorgasbord of genre reading....paranormal,gangsters,who done its....And now I hope some more love as I ponder the man from Hollywood.
I can only hope HBO,Cinemax,or NetFlix stumbles upon one of these books & produces a series with Fenton & Waltz. It will be amazing!

While plenty shocking things happened in the plot, this book in the series in particular seemed to be a build-up to something more. I can’t even imagine the hell the characters are in store for in Book 7.

I loved the new addition of Newt. Intelligence with a dash of dry wit is always fun, I just hope that he sticks around for at least a few more books! I think it would be great to read about a psychological stand-off between Newt and Stan Lee (my favorite character).

It’s hard for most readers to accept new “faces” so readily, but Onyx Webb is always introducing new characters and somehow it works. The integration is flawless. As a writer, I’m definitely taking notes.

I received this book for free, but that doesn’t make it any less awesome. I can’t wait to read the next one!

This could be the best in the series....so far. Books 1-5 were really good but this one was great. Book six in which we have; a very interesting new character in Newt, old ghosts, new ghosts, and we get to go to Loll! As always, this was a page turner, easily read in one sitting but the characters are more developed now and more intertwined. Just like a web but this one is being woven from the outside in...I am already worried about Book 10 and how there MAY be no more.

I received a free copy in exchange for a review - but I am entangled!

I continue to move quickly through these. They get more engrossing and my pace accelerates with each book it feels like. I enjoy the addition of Newt and am curious about the fact that it now seems like almost half the characters we are following are among the undead and their numbers seem to be growing and the forshadowing for an upcoming major ghostly even makes me think we are being prepped for the ned of the series. I look forward to learning more about Loll as well.

This whole series is awesome. Somehow I have missed book 7. And just heard that book 8 is coming out. This is a book you can't put down. I don't guess what's going to happen next because there is always a twist! Spent a cold winter day reading this book in front of a fire. It's been a long time since a book has grabbed me like this!
