He had lived in Dawson City and Halifax, and he is a graduate of the University of Ottawa. His work had appeared in "Arc, New Muse of Contempt, The Antigonish Review and "Geist. Roy contributed the text to "The Longest Winter, his first book, a collaborative work featuring photographs by Julie Doiron. This is Roy's first book of short fiction.
