This is the third book in the series and they are best read in order I really enjoyed the first two books in the series and this one did not disappoint. It was another well-written addition and I cannot wait to see what happens in the next book.

Nicco Marks is going through his own anger and guilt over never taking the thought of having brothers or sisters any further than that. When Surai, his half-sister, had shown up at his house confronting him as to his relationship to a photo she found in her father's belongings they came to the realization they shared the same horrendous father. Since then, Nicco was part of the recue operation to remove Joelle from their father's house the night before she was forced, at 16, to marry a 42 year old abusive man because their father thought it would raise his power and prestige within the clan.
Ravenna was the daughter in a male dominated family. Losing her mother to cancer at six, she's grown up with her father and 6 brothers. Finishing college and the police academy, she's now an officer in the precinct her father retired from. Unbeknownst to her father, she was tracking the conman who had swindled her best friend's father out of everything, destroying their family and the friendship between the two girls. She made a mental promise to her friend the day all hell broke loose. She'd find him one day and bring him down.
Once again in book 3 of Deceit and Desire, Cassie Wilds has taken this storyline and characters to new heights of suspense, fear, friendship, loyalty and love. The emotional rollercoaster of this book is so relatable on a personal level and even through the tragedies and heartache we hold out for the hope of an HEA and Cassie Wilds delivers in a BIG way.

This series is so good, with each book the story and plot line thickens and gets more intense, I'm sure by the last book there will be an explosion of fireworks that will light up the world sky.

It took me a minute to make a connection about the characters in this book, as Nicco was not a big character in the first two books, but once I realized who he was the lightbulb went off and I was good to go. In this book we also meet Ravenna, she is a cop looking for Gabriel Marks (Nicco's dad) for a con job that he did several years ago, and she will stop at nothing to find him.

This is the third book in the series and the first two books are a most read before reading this one.

The tale that Nicco and Ravenna are weaving will be a good one and I cannot wait for the next book to find out what happens.

Sueia has had enough of her life of deceit, lies and being under Gabriel Marks' thumb. When her sister is suppose to get married off at the age of 16 Suria takes matters into her own hands and runs away from the only life she has ever known. Ravenna also has her own agenda with Gabriel Marks and their lives cross in a very unexpected way. Nicco is instantly smitten with Ravenna and together they embark on the journey to bring Gabriel Marks to justice.
Tricks is book 3 in the Deceit and Desire Series and continues where book 2 left off. The series should be read in order to get a full understanding of the characters. Great book by a great author.

This is another quick, fast paced story, but it is amazing. I loved Nicco and Ravenna characters. Ravenna is so sharp with quick humor and a strength that is beyond amazing. Nicco has this protective instinct that is just fantastic. The chemistry between the two is explosive. The story has some twists and turns that makes it feel so realistic. It is definitely worth reading and doesn’t disappoint.

Female cop meets the guy she needs more than she could have known.

I haven't read the previous books in this series but confident this can be regarded as a stand alone. Loved the imperfect but strong characters, the intense attraction between them, the grit, the compelling story & the sex was off the charts descriptive & steamy. Just wanted the story to continue, sigh! Please let there be a sequel.

Great read in this series, love how it continues with different characters, keeps the story fresh even if it's continuing with the same story line. Nicco and Ravenna are kinda an unlikely pair, she is a police officer and Nicco is helping his sister stay safe from their con artist dad. I can't wait to keep reading this series.

As always well written. Characters that are well described and develops nicely through the story.
I like the story is written in dual POV which gives the reader a lot more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters and brings the reader more into the story.
Recommendable engaging and captivating story but I would have liked it to be longer because it have to potential for it.

Well written, this book takes you on another roller coaster ride through the thoughts and actions of the characters. It is the third book in the series and is just as good as the first two. This one allows the two girls' big brother to finally get his due and become a bigger part of the story.

This is the third book in this series by this author. These books need to be read in order they are not stand alone reads. This one is just as good as the first two. With each book the story expands. Again amazing characters. I can't wait to read book four.

An intriguing, emotional, and drama within a series. The characters are strong and well developed with realistic twist and turns including explosive chemisty. Ravena is a cop after Nicco's father. The romance and instant attraction and hotness between the two will make them your favorite out of the series in this compelling story.
