He came to Vegas for business. He didn’t know he was going to add in pleasure too.
I never thought I'd have to rescue Mia from the wrath of her creepy boss. Even worse, Maximo is also my new business partner.
Mia's way too gorgeous and smart to be working in a bar for minimum wage, especially when she wants more and deserves better.
And once I’ve had her curves in the palms of my hands, I can't help but crave more.
She's got something I thirst for, and for once it's not bourbon.

I really liked this one. It's light and sweet! The only problem is I want more.
The story is about Alexander and Mia.
She's a bartender at the Little Black Dress. She was called at her boss' office and she got a proposition. Alexander, who owns half of the bar now, saved her from losing her job.
The story flows well. It's really good. I didn't even notice I'm almost done until I saw the epilogue.
The epilogue is nice but I want more. I want to know more about their future.

Mia is working as a server at a bar to pay the bills. Her boss wants her in his bed, Mia isn't interested in him. Alexander is a partner in the business and walks into the office. He saves Mia from her boss. Problem is he wants Mia too and the attraction is instant. A short, good read.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving a review.
This is a sweet romance quickie involving the bartender and the boss. Alexander has his head on completely straight when it comes to business matters and Little Black Dress. Mia is a smart woman that has career goals in mind. The connection between these two is enjoyable and the creeper vibes given off from Maximo are undeniably there. I’m hooked on this series and can’t wait to read more.
I have zero use for characters who are promiscuous, players, manwhores, sluts, or whatever else you want to call it. Any character who has casual or indiscriminate sex is not a character right for a romance book. The bit about "sealing the deal" made me give up on this story. Jerk main males are not romance material. When I read so-called romances that end up having characters like that, I usually don't read more by that author because it usually happens in more of their books. I just get so bothered by this stuff.
3.5 Stars This is the story of Alexander and Mia. This story is more sweet than it is sexy. The sex scenes are very tame and I do prefer them to be a little spicier. It was nice to see Maximo finally get his! Alex was a really great hero, very sweet and loveable! This story was a quick Insta/lust story and very safe!
1. This had nothing to do with a Long Island Ice Tea. Or Long Island. 2. It was all tell, tell, tell and no show. 3. There was romance? Where? 4. Terrible writing. 5. A shit proposal.
When Mia meets her new boss, Alexander, she's ecstatic, and not because he's hot. But because he rescued her from an attempt by her other sleazy boss to coerce her into taking a "new position" with him as his personal secretary. Yuck.
Alexander has just bought into the hotel lounge/bar, LBD, where Mia works. He has no idea that his new business partner is a sleazy guy with ties to the underworld. When he meets Mia on his first day and rescues her from a really uncomfortable situation, he's not only attracted to her because she's beautiful. No, she's also smart and is able to give him sales information that he needs to check into his new business. Can he force his new partner out of the business with Mia's help AND start a sexy new relationship with her? Or will Maximo's drug running and mafia ties be too much for Alexander and Mia to handle?
I thought His Long Island Iced Tea was the perfect way to start off this summer day. It's sweet and sexy and not too short or too long. Alexander in particular is a really sweet, likable character in this romance landscape littered with macho assholes who are in love with themselves and treat their women like garbage. If Roxy Sinclaire's story is an indication of how this entire series of The Cocktail Girls will be, then I for one will be sure to read them all!
This book is a short sweet sexy read and Roxy Sinclaire grabs your attention and holds it until the end.
Mia is a server in the Little Black Dress Gentleman's Lounge at the Millennium Hotel in Las Vegas. She took the job hoping she could break into hotel management which is her dream job. Alexander comes on the scene in time to hear Mia's lecherous boss, Maximo, make her a not so nice job promotion of sorts. Alexander has just purchased half interest in the LBD and quickly puts a stop to whatever Max has on his mind.
Mia and Alexander's relationship starts off as business but these two have a sizzling chemistry so it quickly turns personal which they know must be kept under wraps.
Alexander with the help of Mia finds not so good business goings on at the LBD and ends up owning all of the lounge then springs on her that he actually bought the Millennium and has arranged for her to move into her dream job.
Roxy takes us on a journey through the developing relationship between Mia and Alexander through to the HEA. Grab a copy of this book and lose yourself in this sweet love story.
Roxy Sinclaire knows how to write hot romantic tales that are also well plotted, well written and loads of fun. That was certainly the case with her latest, His Long Island Iced Tea: A Billionaire Romance (The Cocktail Girls). This is loads of pure romantic fun. It had just what I wanted, was well written, and had a great plot full of perfectly heated romance. I simply adored its leads, Mia and Alexander, and their wonderful explosively hot chemistry and were a pleasure to watch as they developed over the course of the pages. The cast of supporting characters (even sleazier Maximo) were also simply superb. What more I could one ask for? But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises - this book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, it is easy to highly recommend. If the other Cocktail Girls stories (by different authors) are anywhere near as good this will be one fantastic set of tales.
***I voluntarily read this ARC to give an honest review*** I loved this short, sexy, lively read. A little intrigue where a younger guy, Alexnder, bought a partnership in a hotel lounge bar, LBD, that was owned by a mafia associate by the name of Maximo. Maximo was a horrible boss he offered Mia, a college graduate with a degree in Hospitality and Business Administration, who was working in the bar until she may get an opening at the hotel, a chance to be his "secretary." Only it wasn't an offer that she could refuse. If she didn't take that job then she would lose her bartending job. Luckily for her, Alexander was at the door to the office and overheard the conversation. He told them who he was and that she was not required to be blackmailed by Maximo. She helped Alexander become acquainted with the bar and staff and helped with paperwork showing exactly what monies were earned by the bar. Some skimming was going on and soon Alexander was the full owner of the hotel and bar and Mia was his girl.
I do so enjoy visiting the LBD books and seeing what take each author has on the story and the waitresses and clientele. This is a very different story from any of the others that I read. I felt like maybe I should have read it last as there was such a big shakeup. Going back and reading some of the others where this reorganising hasn’t taken place might feel a bit strange. It is the only book that Roxy Sinclaire has written with the Flirt Club (unless this is a pseudonym and she is one of the other authors!?!) I was very impressed with the story-telling and how this book felt longer than it was. It didn’t feel rushed, and you really felt like you got to know the characters. Both Mia and Alexander have a background that you get to know; you know what makes them tick, and the sex scenes weren’t overpowering. I felt like it was about more than just the two of them getting into bed. Overall, a really enjoyable and brilliantly written short read.

A businessman looking to get a return on his investment from his new bar, Alex delves deep into the books to find Mia's boss and his new partner, Maximo crookeder than the letter S! Alex begins to fix things, and while at it, sets Mia up in a better job and his bed. Little did he know how good Las Vegas was going to be to him! This short is fun and flirty. These two are great together, showing how background difference are not important, but love is.I love Mia, she is smart and independent, and with Alex, she holds her own. Alex has that protective side that is warm, but I love his business side, tough but fair and thinks highly of his employees. I am enjoying this collection as the audios come out and with Vegas as the venue, we know it's got to good. Anna Carlysle gives a performance with great pace and good voices. I thought her male voices were exceptionally good and found her to be a talent to watch for.
I listened to the audiobook. The narrator was awesome. Mia is a college graduate but working as a bartender until she can find a job working in the hotel industry. Alexander is a new part owner of the bar and very suspicious of his partner especially when he overhears his partner telling Mia that if she doesn't take the job he offered her as his "secretary" she will be out of a job completely. Mia is then someone Alexander goes to for information about the bar and how everyone feels about how his partner has been treating them. They start to form a relationship of sorts outside of work. Then when Alexander seems to be avoiding her for almost a week she begins to wonder why? When he finally explains what is going on she is worried but relieved. What happens after his business partner is arrested and the bar is shut down for a few weeks? Will she still have a job? What will happen between her and Alexander?
I am enjoying each one of these stories as I read them. Mia & Alexander make a great couple. Mia is a smart, sexy woman working at LBD so she stays close to the hotel business she really wants to end up in. Alexander is the smart, handsome, new co owner of LBD checking in on his investment. It's fate that they are so compatible & work together to make LBD a better place. A few innocent beers & a sink full of water move them in the direction of their HEA. A great story to me is when I read the last words, am smiling & my heart feels full. This was that for me ❤️
The Cocktail Girls novellas are quick reads yet a complete story with an HEA. I like that I can read them in one quick sitting, still get the romantic flutters and still be a functioning member of society.
His long island ice tea is a short story that is part of the cocktail girls novella series. This story is short, fast paced and enjoyable. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I liked that Alexander turned up in time to save Mia from her creepy boss. I liked that because of that, Mia and Alexander struck up a friendship that progressed to a relationship. The chemistry between them was clear to see and I really liked them as a couple. I liked that Mia helped Alexander by giving him information on Maximo. I have really hated Maximo throughout the cocktail girls series so I was happy that Alexander was able to get rid of him. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read.
Excellent short, contemporary billionaire romance. Mia is a watress/bartender at an upscale hotel. She needs the job to pay her bills but her degree is in Hotel Business Management. Maximo is her current boss is a creep. Fortunately, the bar is bought out and Alexander is the sexy new co-owner. He asks for her help because the receipts aren't adding up. This is a delightful short read with interesting characters. The last chapter leads up to the epilogue where the HEA comes in. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Sinclaire.
Loved this story about Mia and Alexander. Mia is having to work at the Little Black Dress because she hasn't been able to get a job in hotel management, which is what she has a degree in. Then her sleazy boss thought he could threaten her with losing her job of she didn't become his assistant (what he wanted from her was physical pleasure). She tried to explain that she wasn't planning on being his personal s#x toy, when there was a knock on her bosses office door. Alexander was at the door and made it clear he heard what Maximo said to Mia and he definitely didn't approve. Grab this book to find out what happens between these two.
Another great book in this series. Mia works in the little black dress bar but has been summoned to the managers office. Wanting to follow her dreams and move into hospitality at least she is getting money for working. She finds the manager wants her to do more than be a waitress but she tells him no. There is a threat that if she doesn't accept she won't have a job. In comes Alexander, the new half partner of the LBD and Mia's saviour for her job. Things hot up not just between Mia and Alexander but also for the other half owner of the LBD. Will Mia get her dream job and a HEA? A great read.
You absolutely must add this crazy good novella to your collection! I laughed so hard in parts that I thought I’d need to change my undies! I’m talking gut-busting laughs. Then a few pages later—BOOM! I needed a tissue. Roxy just knocks these out of the park every time! I loved the storyline; I loved the characters; and the twists and turns made my head spin! The HEA? We’re talking a kickass journey to the end. Y’all need to grab this bad boy today! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and absolutely loved it!!)❤️❤️
In this sweet romantic quickie, Roxy Sinclaire has you wondering if you really can mix business with pleasure. Mia is a smart hardworking young women who is waitressing at Little Black Dress to pay the bills until she can find a job in the Hospitality Industry and work her way towards her dream job in Hotel Management. Alexander is young entrepreneur who purchases fifty percent of Little Black Dress. He see possibilities in the bar and the young waitress. Alexander is genuinely interested in her ideas, but he is also attracted to her and he hopes that he's not crossing a line.
I enjoyed reading Mia & Maximo's story. It's fast paced and a short read with all the elements needed to be a dream come true romance with a little bit of drama. (What I love about short stories is that they focus on the main characters with an abundance of drama that most of the time is not unique & make the storyline drag/boring.) Roxy does an outstanding job getting down to the knitty-gritty of this plot. I really like Mia, she's down-to-earth, independent, hard working and smart, she's deserves a break, career-wise, getting her knight in shining armor is an additional bonus.
Mia works as a sever in a lounge / bar, but her creepy boss Maxima has other plans in mind for her. When Alexander rescues Mia from a sticky situation, the chemistry between them is explosive. Alexander is a new partner in the business, and quickly realises there is more dodgy goings on happening. No spoilers; this is a must read, you will not be disappointed. This is a well written, quick read, which had me intrigued and hooked throughout. I look forward to reading more from this talented author, and highly recommend her work for all readers.
Another book in this series down. I liked this book, not as much as others in the series, however I think that was because the plot line was glossed over, this could of been a really great in-depth book with a great story line and romance, but to fit it all into a novella some details had to skipped over which I thought was a shame. I loved Alexander's declaration of true love at the end, very sweet.
4.5 Stars! There is Alex, who ends up being Mia's knight in shining armor, saving her from her boss who was hitting on her. He is a bit of an alpha male. Came in and just sort of took over but then he seemed to disappear. She is still on his mind though and so he makes a plan to take over the business where she work. This is one steamy romance and definitely worth a read. Enjoy.
I voluntarily wrote this review from an advanced copy of this book.
This is my voluntary honest review for an ARC I received. Roxy Sinclaire never disappoints with her fantastic reads and this one was perfect. A short romance around one of Mia’s new boss in the bar The Little Black Dress. Alexander bought a half share in Maximo Donatello bar. Maximo was a sleaze ball and a criminal, skimming off the business and even the waitresses and bar tenders tips. Well written and a perfect must beach read with a HEA.
I was provided an ARC of this book and this is my honest review...... I’ve not read any of the other Cocktail Girls books, but I have read a lot from Roxy Sinclaire, and this was an OK read. I liked Mia a lot, strong, determined, and driven, she wants to succeed in business honorably. Alex is the new co owner of the bar she works at, they meet, sparks fly....... The book is a short, fast, sexy read, not my favorite, but OK.
This is a cute, quick read and perfect for the summertime. Mia is working as a waitress, even though she wants to be in hotel management. When her boss propositions her, it is overheard by his new business partner, Alexander. When they have a drunken night together, Alexander realizes he wants something more with Mia. While she is working, they flirt with each other, and he starts trusting her with what is really going on. These two are cute together and their chemistry is undeniable.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book Working in a bar is hard work as Mia knows but you don’t need having a creepy sleazy boss like Maximo. Just as well he has a new business partner like Alexander. A brilliant novella from start to finish. Mia and Alexander work and “play” well together, plus there is a good storyline too. Roxy never lets you down with her stories and even though a short story, it packs so much. Loved it.
Delightful romance. Quick and easy read. There is also some drama involved. The main male character is super yummy ... I would like a man with a similar character! He really treats his lady wonderfully. Sigh ... bring on the iced tea, Long Island that is!
I received an advance review copy of this short story and I am leaving an honest review.
