A Teaberry Farm Bed & Breakfast Cozy Book 3 Megan Bennet, owner of the Teaberry Farm B&B, is looking forward to a busy week. Her rooms are booked by some of the cast members of an upcoming mystery play. In fact, Megan is looking forward to seeing the show with Dan. Until someone is murdered and she ends up playing the detective to hunt down the pieces of the puzzle and help solve the mystery. This mild cozy mystery offers a clean read with a female amateur sleuth and friends in a small-town setting. Megan is one of the main characters in this series but interacts with a wide range of other characters in the fictional town of Teaberry. Main characters in the series are multigenerational.
Another great offering. A plot that unravelled slowly and built up until the final reveal. In fact it wasn't until near the end that I guessed the culprit (this is always a great plus for me, as I tend to guess quite early on with most cozies). A theatre group is coming to perform a play. Bringing a variety of characters and temperaments into play. When the womanising leading man is murdered everyone becomes a suspect. From the other members of the group to the women that he hit on whilst in town. Can she use her special brand of innocent questioning to unravel who and why? This time she even has the blessing of her sister to interfere (as unbeknownst to the rest of the family she is just about to remarry her ex-husband). The characters are down to earth and the ties between them are getting stronger.
Some theatre people, especially some older leading men who think they are god gifts of women, need to go somewhere and stop acting a OLD fool. When Megan had guests at her B&B Farm that were there for the whole week for the theatre play to be seen the following weekend. They were a very interesting group and there is always one bad apple in the bunch, well there was a dozes!!!!! The Teaberry Theatre opened up because the mayor wanted something special for the town. Megan is to help with the website to get the word out about the play, and got mixed up in some drama in the theatre and at her farm where her guests were staying. Deception, unfaithful acts, destroyed marriages and murder! Megan helps Erica find answers throughout all the suspects. You have to read to find out details! You will love it!!!!
Megan’s Teaberry Farm B&B is a lovely place to spend some time. The town’s theatre has been actively used for many of the town’s residents. This is the first time it was a murder scene. This cozy mystery had all the ingredients of a good story. The plot was solid and the characters were very realistic. In fact, most of them felt like old friends, except for the murder victim who was disliked by everyone. With so many suspects to choose from it made for an entertaining reading experience.
This was another winner. I have read all three books and can't wait to start the fourth book. She writes wonderful characters and great storylines in each book. I highly recommend all her books to everyone who loves cozy mysteries. Diana Romano
Great characters as well as great story. Did not figure out who murderer was. Again it's nice to see relationships grow. Anxious to read backstory. Thanks for r entertaining me.
I am enjoying the characters in the Teaberry stories. I still have trouble keeping them straight but I'm getting better. No bad language nor steamy sex. I get a kick out of the pet rooster.
Murder hits B& B residents again! Members of the cast for a theater presentation have a member murdered. Police and " helpers" work diligently to solve this case before curtain rises!
I really enjoy this series! I love the characters...the author keeps your interest going. What a great idea to include the recipes!! I save them! Thanks!
Another cute mystery for Teaberry. Though it's frustrating because it's always the a**hole who gets murdered! Maybe that will change a bit in the next book.
