*This is a steamy romance containing adult material.

I received a copy of this book for free from the publisher in exchange for an honest review

I am so upset that this book is a standalone! I couldn’t get enough of Jack and Amber and I want more!
It has been a while since I have read a contemporary romance, I usually am drawn more to historical romance novels with Duke’s and Duchess’s, but I think that this book may have rekindled my interest in this genre.

Into Temptation is a fun, quick romance read with so many aspects of it that I loved. I loved the story line, I think that it was done well and seemed as though it was very thought out. I loved that the man that Amber had a fling with ended up being not only her boss, but the son of the man who had wronged her family. It created such tension and conflicts in her feelings over him that created enough drama to keep the story exciting. To add to the drama, we find out at the beginning of the story that Amber had been cheated on by her ex-fiance and is newly single. I was hoping that we would have a revenge moment and this book did not disappoint, it was very satisfying to say the least.

The one thing that I disliked about Amber is her stubbornness. I cannot believe that she was willing to give up everything that she had worked so hard for simply because she disliked the Ward family. I can’t blame Jack for being clueless about Amber’s feelings for him because even though he kept trying to convince her to stay, she would refuse and was sooo committed to leaving and expressed her dislike for his family numerous times.

I loved the development of Jack’s character and his back story. Initially, it is easy to dislike Jack as some entitled rich jerk who just wants casual sex with no commitment. To an extent this is true, but then you see a softer side to him and once his past is brought out you are able to see why he was against falling in love and what has shaped him into the man he is today. I enjoyed reading the interactions between the two from Jack’s perspective as he had his own inner turmoil in regards to his feelings for Amber which exceeded just the physical.

The ending of the book is slightly rushed but all in all is ended perfectly. The author was kind enough to provide us with an epilogue set within about a year after the book ends. I was happy to see how far our characters had come and while I am happy with how it all ended I can’t help but wish there was a second book.

A steamy little read, that had more than one trick up its sleeve. Set on the Channel Island of Guernsey, the author made great use of the beautiful backdrop that the island presented her with and painted some fabulously vivid pictures with her words. This and the fact that the characters were ultimately engaging meant that this was a read that was very difficult to take a break from.
Jack has had his fill, his hugely successful business empire has kept him on the go for what seems like forever but with success comes responsibility and he is acutely aware of that, hence the fact that his first vacation in years is also tied neatly up with the purchase of the latest additions to the Ward Hotels portfolio.
He should have known that any attempt to find time to kick back and relax was always going to be dealt a hammer blow but he didn’t think it would arrive in the shapely form of a woman that almost certainly hates his guts, throw the resurfacing of he had through was a long-buried family feud and his vacation is well and truly scuppered!
I liked Amber, she had a simple honesty about her that after the demise of her engagement had her looking for not necessarily Mr Right but just a good time, and Jack certainly fit that bill…but was her time with him the start of something more or could it very well be the end of everything?
There were twists and turns peppered throughout the book that took this on a journey that I must admit I didn’t necessarily have pegged at first but once the characters hit their stride it was an absorbing read and the author did not disappoint…this was a wonderfully romantic read that brought more to the page than I had anticipated.

*I received this book free from the author.*

Amber thought she had a good life and the best job, until the hotel she worked at got bought out by the same company who bought out her father's. Amber is very prideful and she'd rather quit than work for the man who destroyed her father. But then again Jack isn't the man...he's the man's son and oh how that complicated things.

Jack took over the hotel empire after his father passed away. He had always thought of him as a wonderful business man, but after Amber's acquisitions he has to reevaluate that. She also makes him rethink himself. Not one to get attached to women he can't help but want to stay close to Amber, even making himself be the bad guy in order to keep her around. And it confused the hell out of him.

Amber easily jumps to conclusions because she wants to hate Jack.

Jack tries to stay away on business because he doesn't want to miss Amber.

In the end, neither can fight what their hearts want. Each other.

This isn't one of those slow sizzle that heats up into a fiery passion. No, Moonlight Cove starts off as an inferno and then you get to watch as two people try to hold back the flames they both so desperately do not want to have, but do.

Great read

This was a good book to read. I had just come off the back of reading a very dark book and wanted something to make me smile and make my heart flutter and this certainly did that.
I would definitely recommend this book.

This story was good. It took too long for them to admit their feelings for one another. I wished the book had been longer. I wanted to read about Jack meeting Amber's mom and sister. Also about how he dealt with his stepmother and Cassie.
