About the author

Shay Roberts, a USA Today bestselling fantasy author, has a reputation for writing page-turning novels with captivating characters.

Shay began writing as a child, scribbling stories on the walls of the family home. In ink. As you can imagine, they were poorly received. But when the young author moved to pencil and paper, a career was born.

The medieval world is a frequent setting for the writer’s works. Passionate about Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA), Shay founded the Academy of Arms, a nonprofit medieval martial arts school in Los Angeles. As an instructor, the author developed expertise in various dueling weapons, including the longsword and pollaxe, and later discovered these skills are counterproductive in office situations.

Shay is also an instrument-rated pilot with a diverse educational background, including an MA in Screenwriting, a BS in Biology, and a BA in English. This is another way of saying Shay never wanted to leave college and join the “real world.”

When not slaving over a new novel, the author plays open-world RPGs and explores the latest tech gadgets. Shay enjoys a healthy lifestyle that includes cooking, working out, fermenting vegetables, and brewing kombucha. The writer’s cherry-ginger kombucha has been particularly well-received.

The author finds Pomskies and Russian Blues to be the most adorable of all creatures and will duel anyone who says otherwise. As an animal lover, there is always a place in Shay’s books for another furry friend.

Currently, the author spends much of the year in Portugal, embracing the culture and learning the language. É muito difícil! With its rich history, picturesque landscapes, and friendly people, Portugal is the perfect place for writing spellbinding novels. Be advised, if you ever want to visit this lovely country, you are required to love futebol and swear allegiance to Ronaldo.

kindle unlimited, although both listings seing on goodreads don't actually go to amazon except to say no such number, can't find it, but it is on amazon and kindle unlimited. Having to check all the books, some don't show reviewed on amazon, some don't show on goodreads, BUT I always review both at same time, so not sure how, why, or just when different reviews poofed away.

What a fantastic, captivating and original series, that takes you on a adventure through history. I have enjoyed the heartblaze series, and had developed a soft spot for Tyler when I met him in Ash's saga. Out of the three trilogy in this series I have enjoyed Tyler's the best.
The Dragon and time travel elements add something more and different to the book than other shifter/paranormal books. This series just has so many different and new elements to it and is just uniquely different from any other books I've read.
I found this book slightly easier to read, as it wasn't written from the different characters perspective like some of the other books, also the storyline was simpler and less complex to follow. However as I've got used to the different complex storylines that start of confusing and gradually draw together in a very cleverly achieved way, this seemed rather light reading in comparison.
This was shorter and quicker to read than some of the other books in this series, but it didn't lack on storyline by being shorter, and still had some rather complex ideas in it. On a whole, I found it well written with great character's and a great storyline, and Tyler's saga remains my favourite.

👍👍With adventure and suspense every minute, as I've come to love and expect from author Shay Roberts, time jumpers Rosemarie and Tyler are in a race to save the world after seeing first hand what some power hungry and greedy agents can do to mess up the planet. In addition to creating an exciting story, Roberts immerses the reader in a different culture and distant time period, this time drawing the reader back to the pre-Christian ancient world when Greek (Hellenic) civilization was losing its ascendancy in the Mediterranean.

It's well-written, with precise prose, and keeps up its fast pace and tension right to the final, confrontational climax. Dragons are neither the most powerful nor the oddest creatures to come out of this world, but Tyler Buck puts his dragon shifting to good use in their quest as he learns that the Greek gods require respect OR ELSE!

I want to say, everybody loves a happy ending, but I know that's not exactly true. If you are one of those people who loves a happy ending, this book is for you. Finally, Tyler and Rosemarie are reunited. Unfortunately, they have to go through Hellas and back to get their happy ending.

I love Tyler's character. He's honest, brave yet unsure of himself, chivalrous, snarky, loyal, persistent, unrelenting, resourceful, and above all else, he loves Rosemarie and is determined to do what is right.

Whether it was meant this way or not, there was a section about Nabis, a brutal ruler in ancient Greece, in which he says, “...I have the best punishments. Trust me,” and I had to laugh. What I heard was, “I know all the best people. Believe me,” in the voice of a wannabe dictator ruler. Again, I don't know if it was meant that way, but I found it very clever.

Overall, the book was riveting and I found myself unable to put it down. I love Shay Roberts, so this was no surprise. I highly recommend all of his Heartblaze series.

This is the third book in the heartblaze series and it didn't disappoint this third book is just as good as the previous ones the story continues with Tyler and rosemary, Tyler hasn't seen rosemary for three years because he didn't no what happened to her but when things start to happen to Tyler rosemary rescues him from Philip who has blasted him with his power so now Tyler and rosemary are both working for another group who want to destroy the time machine (I can't spell the word for it) but there is a spy also working for the SA. This was a fantastic book and shay has done it again its one of those books that you can't put down if you haven't read the previous books then you really need to because this story follows on its a must read if you liked the previous books then you won't be disappointed. I was gifted this by the author for a honest review shay's books makes you laugh when you read them and it's a good story.. Would I buy this book definitely

I have really enjoyed reading Shay Roberts Series, I would recommend this whole series. This 3rd book on Tyler was a littler slower that the other books, but we still see adventure, strategizing, love, heartache, and more. Tyler is finally healed and thinks he is going back to SA, but 2 people show up and he is in his cube, going mad. Rosemarie has been gone for years and told Tyler not to look for her. Tyler wakes up and sees Rosemarie and thinks he is in a dream. What will happen when Tyler finds out what Rosemarie is doing? What will Rosemarie do to get him to see the truth? What will happen when they get stuck in Ancient Greece? Will they stop what's going to happen? Will they get captured? What happens to everyone back in another time? Will the our enemies finally kill us like they been trying?

This third instalment in Tyler's saga is definitely the best one, and possibly the best of the books in the overall series (with Ash's and Emma's sagas combining with Tyler's to create a whole series). I loved the characters we encounter, and the seamless way the author has blended ancient history with time travel and shifters to create an awesome story, even secretly giving us a bit of a history lesson along the way. I've always loved reading about the Ancient Greek world, but this story really brought it to life and actually made me feel like I was there too, travelling alongside Tyler and Rose. I'm just so sad that we won't get to read more of their adventures!

I loved this newest episode of Tyler's saga. Tyler with his love Rose time travelled back to Ancient Greece and gotten stuck there, I am not going to spoil their story here for anyone. I will say our Scribe has written yet another story that is impossible to put down.

Mr. Roberts writes wondferful adventures including fantastic new characters, bringing back villians we the readers have been introduced to in previous books creating nonstop breath taking stories. This third installment of Tyler's saga is Tyler's final story, I am sure we may see Tyler again in some small way or another in other writings from Mr. Roberts. I can't wait to see what new and exciting adventures Mr. Roberts will take us on next.

There are three trilogies set in the Heartblaze world and this one--Tyler's saga--is the best. Combining urban fantasy with historical fiction (much of he story takes place in a beautifully researched ancient Greece), this novel delivers an emotionally satisfying, action-packed ending to a story that has developed over the course of Roberts' two previous Tyler books. Yes, there are dragons. But there is so much more, including a welcome leavening of humor to go with the passionate love story between Tyler and his soul mate Rose. If you aren't familiar with Roberts' work, start with this trilogy and you will be hooked.

In this last book of the trilogy, Tyler and Rosemarie return to ancient Greece in order to stop a development that will change the world forever.
This one includes some very interesting Greeks, a little help (and hindrance) from the gods and a non-stop action adventure that will keep you riveted to your Kindle screen right up until the final page.
It looks like T&R will get their HEA by the end of this one, but knowing Roberts' intermingled plot lines, I wouldn't count them out for more adventures yet.
Tyler's adventures are definitely worth the read for fantasy adventure fans or anyone who's ever followed the other Heartblaze stories.

Absolutely brilliant, this is the third of Tyler's Trilogy and I truly utterly love it, as always there are many adventures within adventures with our Scribe, each story arc amazingly done.

I don't give spoilers but will say this, if you love romance, shifters, time travel an epic adventure and much more you will more than likely love this too, I defy anyone to genuinely not love it, the characters I adore, the emotions you feel I know with me definitely I connect with them having read about them to date I feel like they are friends and their enemies are my enemies.

Shay Roberts you done it again, This latest edition in the Tyler's Saga, Tyler finds himself in the time Academy where his he is being held a prisoner, Rosemarie his soul mate appears to rescue him, He as been waiting for her return for three years, They go on an adventure to save her Dragon clan from Rosemarie time,This Story is full of wonderful characters and the places they go are from out of the History books, I rated this book 5/5 and I highly recommend it to all, can't wait to read the next in the series.

This was another amazing book from Shay Robert with Tyler as is last time with his therapist he will miss Ava he rise to join her for the last time she says goodbye Tyler my soul may be heal but my heart isn't he misses Rosemarie ,now he is getting blame for things he as not done this story has lots of characters you can't but like, there sadness, heartache,grief it is more in-depth into Tyler one of the best books yet "love it" very exciting with lots of action, I recommend this to all, it is a book not to be missed .

Tyler and Rose finally meet again and set out to destroy what is changing the world and not in a good way. They must travel through time and search for and then destroy the machine that started everything happening, but there are those they thought of as allies, that want to stop them completing there mission. This is the conclusion to Tyler and Rose's story with a great plot, characters, time travel and a dragon.

I always look forward to the next story from Shay Roberts and haven't been disappointed.

First part totally had my heart down with the lines about healing, got my heart tugged big time. Okay a chapter in this really reflected how the world could turn out in the future, where everything would
become hot and crops would be destroyed. And thedepiction of greed being a reason of destruction of
the world just blew me how it was well said in the chapter.The Greek history very, informative, love it
I don't really know much whether it's real or fictional but mehh love how the narration and description about it is very substantial. I need Rose's tattoos!!

I loved this series, and this book is the perfect ending to Tyler and Rose's story. I always love Shay's characters, especially the strong female characters. Whether they be heroic or villainous, there are no shrinking violets or damsels in distress here. Shay's tales are always exciting adventures where everything that can go wrong does. It's great fun - and sometimes a bit nail-biting - to watch our heroes and heroines figure a way out. The only question I have is what's next from our master scribe.

Absolutely fantastic!!

This is the ultimate fantasy book. I love Tyler and Rose. This book has so much action and so many different characters, both good and bad. Shay Roberts is one terrific author. All of the books I've read by this author have been so unique and never predictable. The storylines are like no other and the characters are strong and likeable. This is one of my favorite authors and I recommend the Heartblaze series highly.

I love Shay's Heartblaze series. This is fantasy at its best as are all of the Heartblaze books. I have read every one of them since discovering them and this final book in Tyler's story is no exception to the series. It starts out a little slower than most of the stories, but stick with it and it gets going. Once again we have fantastic character and story world development in Dragon Soul. I definitely recommend this book and the whole series.

Tyler is a prisoner and in this book, we find Tyler and Rosemarie back in Greece. This book can be slow, but at the same time, super fast. I know, what a conflict! Added to everything else happening in this tale, there's time travel, romance, dragons, action, and adventure. Roberts writes really good books. While this is the final one of Tyler's story, I anticipate more great reads from this author.

Out of all of Shay's novels this was by far the best, as it was much more suspenseful and intriguing which drew me in. I found it to be even more interesting than his previous novels with the themes of ancient Greece and Greek mythology embedded into the story line. Although I was confused with how the timeline fit into Ash's Saga as some aspects coincided.

The final instalment of Tyler's Saga is a as action packed as the previous books. This book combines fantasy and history. It is set in Ancient Greece and it includes mythological creatures, historical references, gods and futuristic devices. There is lots of action and Rosemarie and Tyler finally get their happy ever after ending.

Another fabulous book from Shay Roberts. This is book three in the Tyler's Saga Series. Rose and Tyler get to experience Ancient Greece in its full force if they want to or not. This book is an on the edge of your seat page turner. There were a few times I thought they would not make it. Really a great book and a must-read.

A Dragon's Tale

I loved this book, which I am presuming is the last of its series. Tyler and Rose go to the distant past of Greece to change the timeline for the better. They must prevent a particular invention ever being invented and in doing so, prevent the downfall of the human race.

Wonderful!

Tyler has waited three years to see Rose again. Now they are on a time travel mission to destroy the machine that allowed the SA to come into being. Well written, with a great plot and characters, including a crystalline dragon! Fast paced non-stop action, I loved it!
