Hope: A Christian Story

Rate this book
Hope’s been working at Shimmer Lake Resort Lodge since age eighteen, three years now.she only works part time while classes are in session, in the summer I work full time. I’m the lead waitress there, even though I’m the youngest. She treats the customers like they’re the dearest of friends. She has gotten to know the families of the return customers year after year so they often wait just to sit in my station. Even though I only work part time while classes are in session, in the summer I work full time. I’m the lead waitress there, even though I’m the youngest. She has gotten to know the families of the return customers year after year so they often wait just to sit in my station. My parents tell her she’s 20 going on 40. I’m street smart and mature for my age. They are great role models and devout Christians. Mom tells her “when it’s God’s plan you will experience a real romance as long as you save yourself for marriage. God will reveal the right person that he designed just for you when the time is right.”

Hope blossomed from a timid teen to a beautiful young woman who went after her dream; being a successful, respected local Vet and someday would like to fall in love, get married and have a family. She has a charming smile and deep dimples. She also has piercing sky blue eyes, shoulder length strawberry blond hair in a “bob style” but is put up in a pony tail while she’s at work. She has a peaches n’ cream complexion. She never really blossomed in the bosom area, but it’s ample to attract boys or young men with less than honorable intentions. No matter their intentions, Hope has a built in BS detector just like her mom at that age.
