Furry alien with a foul-mouth and a tail that needs stroking seeks role-playing nerd for fun times. Love is not an option.

When a jaded alien and a nerdy role-playing human find themselves at the mercy of a dangerous alien game, they must put aside their fears and use their skills to stay alive.

Iska Matusa is pissed. At himself, at the world, at everything. His latest bounty is proving hard to pin down and he's losing his cool. The only thing that calms him is the long hours he spends role-playing with the elusive, gorgeous Warrior Princess. The things he'd do to her if only she was real.

Avril Anwell spends her days keeping her head down and her mouth shut. A life of being abandoned and ignored means she knows that's the safe thing to do. Only in her kick-ass role of Warrior Princess can she be her true self. She's fearless, confident, and sexy as hell.

It also helps that she plays alongside a hot, mysterious gamer called Fang. She'd love to know the real Fang but is too afraid to get close. Rejection kicks like a mule.

When the game turns into a real-life nightmare for Avril, Iska puts everything he's worked for on the line to fight for her life. He won't stop fighting until she's in his arms and stroking his tail.

This is book 4 in the My Single Alien sci-fi romance adventure universe. It's full of adventure, lots of messy action, and a whole lot of alien love!

Iska

What another great book in this series, Avril works for My Single Alien but in her down time she leaves this world and plays a warrior princess in her halo game and it’s here she is at her best and everyone wants to play with her and her favourite is Fang he just gets her and they play well together, she often wonders what he is like in real life and would he like her. Iska is a bounty hunter and is the best at what he does and in his down time he likes to fight in the illegal fight club ring and always wins and sometimes he plays in the halo realm where he teams up warrior princess because she is perfect and badass, by chance they meet in the real world he is surprised she is the warrior princess from the game. So they make a time to play together but Iska doesn’t show up and she plays the game without him and then by chance she can go up a level in the game and she takes it but it’s not fake anymore it real life and if you don’t fight you die and or killed. How can she get out of this place and can someone save her. Read this great book to find out what happens next.

Iska

This is different from the other books from Arcadia Shield. It took me awhile to get into it. I think it was the gaming that there me off. After a couple days away from it , I went back to it and read the whole book through without stopping. I'm not much for gaming and I think that's what was wrong. Anyway it's a good book that you'll enjoy. As usual Arcadia has written another good book, one that should be on your TBR list.

Super engaging, lots of action, I loved the nerdy overload in this book@ Avril takes her gaming seriously and Iska just plays to keep his fighting skills sharp. They are perfect for each other but can't let themselves believe it. They have to work so hard before they even admit it to themselves. In thieve meantime, they get sucked into a life or death situation and their actions I. that sub-plot are crazy good and violent. I'm loving this series and can't wait for it to continue!

Timid warrior princess

I loved the fact that this novel explores how freeing gaming can be to someone who is shy, but has a warriors heart! Interested in reading more of the series!

Not bad

The story was good but a little more violent than the last books. It still had a really great HEA.
