This book is a prequel to the Dogwood series. You will enjoy these wonderful stories that will make you love dogs. Two of these stories are; Gone to the Dogs by Jodi Anderson Laura got a letter from her aunt Marie asking her to come and live with her. Laura didn't have much money to come. Marie arranged with her brother, Doug , for Laura to become a relief driver. She was to help his son Don drive a school bus to Utah. At the first stop, they found two puppies. They took the puppies to a shelter, but they had no room. They took the dogs with them after they called her Aunt and she told them to bring them on. The shelter in her town would make room and find Skipper and Buddy new homes. At the gas station, they found another stray dog. Laura had an idea. Would the shelter in Dogwood take more dogs? Could they pick up even more dogs along the way. She called her Aunt and waited for an answer. What would it be? Would they get to bring back animals to Dogwood? Rescue Nora by Jude Willhoff Nora was driving in a white out of snow headed for her daughter. She was going to give birth to Nora's first Grandbaby. Nora ran into a snow bank and could not move the car. She was very cold and felt a thump on the car door. She got out and found it to be a very cold dog. They huddled together and stayed warm. Nora hoped that her estranged husband, Samuel, would come find her and Jack. Will she get there in time for her grandbaby birth?
I found this book on a website for free for an honest review.
I thoroughly enjoyed this delightful collection of sweet and spicy stories about romance and relationships in a small town. I'm looking forward to reading more about the characters (both human and furry) of Dogwood, Colorado!
These stories are entertaining and lovable. They deal with love and problems that it brings ,and all have a dog 🐕 that is a character in the stories. Who can do without a dog?

I really needed to read something uplifting and this Anthology certainly surpassed my needs. I am really not a pet lover (due to personal health issues) but these stories all centered around dogs and I truly enjoyed reading each one! I fully intend to look into all of the books connected to the books comprising the Anthology.
This was a delightful book of sweet stories about various people and a dog who had a power to bring lovers together. Each story had a lovely ending and it just lifted me up. I recommend this book.
I really liked this book. Thumbs up for this great collection of authors putting great feeling and heart into the wonderful town of Dogwood. Being a dog lover it was fun seeing the different ways the dog Match made love matches. It is fun light reading giving you a sense of happiness between man/woman and beast
I absolutely loved how the various authors came together to write a collection of stories that were unique but were cohesive and set a beautiful scene about a town that I wish I could visit. Through the vignettes, true love is matched throughout the generations by a dog named Match. Each iteration of Match has one task and that is to bring two people together... high school sweethearts? Strangers? A married couple who is having problems?
Come visit Dogwood and see if you’ll fall in love!
Never demanding, easy to love with no excuses not to. Honest, basic responses from our pet dogs can be counted on at all times. Always loyal and protective regardless of our human quirks. That is what this series of well-written stories underscore.
Sweet like puppy kisses My love of animals drew me to this title, but the stories themselves exceed expectations! These are short romantic stories that definitely have dogs/puppies with plenty of character. I’m going to be reading more of the Dogwood stories by these authors. I thoroughly recommend this.
This was a simply wonderful combination of authors doing what they do best, writing well written, fast paced books that engage with most all of us. I enjoyed them immensely! Keep up with the good work.
If you even barely like dogs you need to read this book. If you no longer believe in love and a connection between people that can last a lifetime you need to read this book. If you want something truly heartwarming you need to read this book. If none of the above apply you STILL need to read this book.
Such a wonderful collection of wonderful authors writing cute, heartwarming stories all centered around a matchmaking dog, a fictitious town that I would love to move to, well defined believable characters and a guaranteed HEA. Will definitely be following these authors for more Dogwood stories.
Do you love pups of all sizes and ages? Then this is a series for you. This is a collection of stories about matchmaking pups and the people whose lives they touch. It is a very enjoyable read! Check it out.
All the short stories were different but very heart warming. I enjoyed them all. Some made me laugh aloud. They all made me realize that dogs can change our life for the better.
Cute short stories that take place in Dogwood, Colorado. They all involve couples finding their way to each other or back to each other, with the help of their furry companions.
7 short stories that are all very predictable, but that was exactly what I wanted out of the last book of the year to meet my reading goal. I love dogs and small town romance, so these fit those two categories well.
Sweet romance short stories that will send you aflutter! Matches made by Match in Dogwood promises to be excellent judging by these short stories! I sincerely hope to read more
All of these stories were wonderful. These are a kind of stories I like to read. Because for one thing I love dogs. Any kind of dogs. Thanks for the good read.
Been looking for something light and entertaining to read. Found it in this anthology. Seven beautiful, sometimes funny, sometimes tear manifesting stories. Quick and easy to read too.
