This third instalment of of the Sara Chamber: Treasure Hunter series was a weird one for me to rate. Mainly because of the weird dynamic between sex scenes and story. The sex scenes are again very well-written and literally a pleasure to read about. The story, however, totally falls flat in this volume. Downright stating why would be an enormous spoiler, so I will just say that I didn't like the way the main storyline was resolved. The end of this volume, however, promises the start of an overarching plot akin to the newer Tomb Raider games... but because of that revelation, I cannot help but feel like the story, which takes up roughly 80% of the novel, was just there as a place holder and therefore not as elaborately crafted as in previous volumes.
I am, however, hopeful for the next volumes.
