Equilibrium is an exploration of the delicate balance between love and loss. It is a coming together of darkness and light, a rising and setting of the sun, a journey of acceptance and facing midnight with a smile. ____________________

I understand poetry is subjective and will give different meanings to different people, and for me it felt like reading a high schooler's Tumblr after their first big break up. There were a couple poems I liked, but mostly this just transported me back to my cringey teenage years when I tried too hard to be deep and write meaningful prose.
I really loved the final part of this collection. The first two parts were well written but the third part was like a punch to my heart. I felt each poem's raw emotion and how heartbroken Grey was.
3.5 stars As I'm in a happy place with myself and my relationship, I couldn't relate to these poems deeply. Had I read them a year and a half ago, I'm sure my rating would have been higher 😊
I liked one or two poems, but didn’t quite grasp the overall theme and how the poetry was supposed to be interpreted within that theme. I know poetry is different for everyone though and it’s not horrible. Just not my taste I guess.
