"I love you, Millie. I love your smile. I love your laugh. I love your pouty lips. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me. You have brought me a ton of joy in just a small amount of time. You have no idea how grateful I am to you, baby."
Hearing his confession while he made love to me was a trigger of the worst kind. I was a bundle of emotion underneath him, contemplating the love I have for him. This man is incredible. He's a wonderful boyfriend. Rylan's not perfect but he has always tried to make me happy. He's given me everything he could, yet I was selfish enough to keep from him what he wanted.
Rylan has spent most of his life running from his emotions. Now that he has his love secured, will he allow hi insecurities to get the better of him?
Millie was overjoyed when Rylan returned to her soon after his second departure, But with their new relationship comes a new beginning. Is it too much change at once?
I loved this series. This third book did not disappoint. I sat and did not stop reading it. If you're a lover of this series, you'll gobble this book up as well.
I have truly enjoyed their story. I felt both Rylan and Millie needed to communicate more. In the end it all worked out and I would recommend this book.
Rylan and Millie were such a cute couple. They were so in love with each other but soon found out that not only is communication key to any relationship but so is adjusting to living with someone in a new town. Rylan was the typical stubborn alpha male and refused to let her go to work, but he did redo a design room for her to replace the one in her Greenland Plantation home that she destroyed. It was not until he overhead a conversation she was having with Lenora did he find himself in the same situation that his father and mother did. He was on the verge of losing his family and did not want to chance that. With a compromise reached and his renewing his relationship with his father, Rylan and Millie were on the way of to getting their HEA until her parents arrived.
The author wrote a sweet and sometimes funny story about a couple starting their lives together. This was a big adjustment for them both as Millie felt bored and isolated. Rylan had to adjust to men flirting with Millie thinking she was his daughter. Little Ava was sooooooo sweet. I was shocked with Millie and Sloan's budding friendship. Rylan and Millie's biggest problem was Millie's father Rock Rose. He absolutely hated Rylan McKellan and made no bones about it, but they both relented for Millie and Ava's sake. I'm so glad to read they finally got their HEA.
Ok so amazing series my favs are book 2&3 now I loved rylan but ge was pissing me off with the whole I'm stay with sloan but keep going after millie and keeping any man away from.her that's not alpha that's selfish and childish, then had the nerve to be mad at sloan like get out of here , I was mad at millie giving in to him she was acting weak, but I guess it worked out second lenora made me mad wanting millie to play house with him and sloan just cause she liked him as well like what the hell, Everybody wanted killie to be so accepting like NO HE LEFT ME,and rylan was a damn flirt too ugh, but in the end I loved the series and the character development its really intresting and made me laugh out loud :) give it a chance
I love Millie and Rylan's story I said that it ended but I'm glad they got their HEA. If you're looking for a good series that has great dialogue, depth, hot love scenes, and realistic situations this series is for you. I'm beyond proud of this author. I first discovered her on wattpad. I'm glad she took the plunge and decided to bless the book world with her great stories.#reccommended
I really enjoy this read I loved Millie and Ryland relationship. The openness, comfort and the love they had was special only few come across it. The journey they took had some bumps but I liked how they overcame it together. From the first book i enjoyed this series irs just something about the easy going of their relationship as well as their back and forth banter. I was really sad it ended!
Driftwood series📚is a top tier, epic romance novel- the kind of novel you relish so much, you’re sad when it’s over😥. I 😍😍😍this couple so much & thoroughly enjoyed their journey. I felt all the emotions that make ❤️novels such a treasured genre in literature😘The double epilogues for this trilogy were an absolute masterpiece & chef’s💋. I hope this ✍🏽 pens more novels because she is a highly skilled and gifted storyteller & I’m a fan!!!
Speaking for myself, this could have been a 5 star rating if not for the age difference. I personally think that if their ages were not quite so far apart it couldn't have been more believable. The typo's got better with each book. But there were still some. I hope your next work will be as interesting
It’s sooo hard to say goodbye to them! 😭😭 I’m going to miss them so much!! Millie and Rylan are so cute together despite the age difference! This series was so good! You did an awesome job! Can’t wait to read more of your work! Awesome job!
I love this series! I am truly sad to see these to characters go! Rylan has been everything from day one and I just love how they complete one another! Great ending to the series! I definitely will be reading more from this author!!
Great book. Both characters have flaws, i hate romances where one or both partners sound perfect, it kinda ruins the reality of it. But both Rylan and Millie have plenty of flaws but still head over heels for each other. I loved it.
Despite my really liking books 1 and 2, I could not stay interested in book 3. I recall it seemed to drag. After all the time that has passed -- and my tastes have changed -- I don't think I will return to it. Moving it to the read but did not finish shelf.
I really loved this series. I tried to slow down because I was coming to the end too fast. My most favorite part is Rylan description of Millie’s driving skills. Hilarious
The series was entertaining. These two were a hoot. Dylan and Millie needed to just be honest with each. They both learned that in the end for their HEA..
