Dougal (The Ghosts of Culloden Moor #12). My wife is a Scottish romance reader & sometimes the books she reads influence me to read them as well. Another well-written short read in the series.

Kennedy (The Ghosts of Culloden Moor #13),. Another well-written short read in the series.

Gerard (The Ghosts of Culloden Moor #15), my twelfth read from author L.L. Muir Another well-written short read in the series. I'll read more from this author & in this series, but what really got me going was narrator Andrew McDermott, I love his Irish brogue. Co-narrator Jenn McGuirk added to the enjoyment of the book. “I received a free Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

EXCELLENT!!! EXCELLENT!!! They were all SOOOO GOOD!! Loved them all. The characters in every single book are unique and so realistic, it amazes me how the author comes up with all of these totally unique sinarios and builds an entire and wonderful world around each.
I can't say which is my fav. or this collection or the entire series so far. They are all just GREAT!! I am soo soo happy that I discovered this author and this SERIES!! each books takes me away from my MIGRAINE reality, when I can read , and it is wonderous. I've learned a LOT of Scottish words and about Culloden also. SO win, win, win, win!! I am off to the next collection now,

These stories are so good! If you have any interest at all in Scotland then Ghost of Culloden Moor are a must read. You can’t help but think of the times and the suffering that went down there. My heart will always belong to Scotland, now more than ever. Grab the first story, I promise you won’t be able to stop with that. Best stories I’ve read in a very long time!❤️❤️❤️

“The Ghosts of Culloden Moor: Volume 3” is another volume in the series by L.L. Muir detailing the life stories of 79 Jacobite Highlander ghosts from the battle, after being reanimated by a Muir Witch and tasked with an heroic deed before being allowed to leave the battlefield forever. Very entertaining and sentimental. The next in the series is already on its way!

Supernatural

Once again a three book volume and once again the stories are still interesting and varied, so many series start to be too much alike but the writer has managed to make these different and still interesting

Loving this series. So many stories to tell of the brave souls roaming the battlefield for centuries. I'm going to Culloden in May to add my personal footprint to the history.

Ghosts of Culloden Moor

Wonderful light mystic romances with just the right amount of Galic tossed in to enchant a history buff. Have enjoyed the six volumes I have read so far

lovely set of stories!

It has been quite interesting to read the various stories of the Cullodan 79. Each one has been quite special, unique and unexpected. The characters are well drawn and interesting- many are quite special actually as you learn of their hopes and dreams for a better Scotland without the British.

There are many volumes in this collection-- it is an anthology of stories. It drew my attention after reading "Outlander" and also having been keenly interested about the history of Culloden Moor.

79 Highlanders arose from their graves the day after the Battle of Culloden Moor. Nearly 300 years later, a young lass hopes to re-write history... Soncerae is a Muir Witch whose destiny is to save these Highland warriors who refuse to leave Culloden's hallowed, forever-bloody ground. She can win back their lives, but only for a time. And in that time, she hopes to prove that a heart's true desire can mean so much more than revenge, releasing them one at a time.

The premise was a decent one. However, after only volume one, I found it moved too slowly and the ghosts speaking to Soncerae just left some holes that made it all feel... disjointed. I've tried to return to it several times, but it's just a no for me.
