Nora and Leslie understand that life has many obstacles to throw at them and that the best way through it all is together, hand in hand.

A sweet romance! This is the journey of two beautiful women, Nora and Leslie. A story about unconditional love, family and the joy and sorrow that comes with being a parent. An uplifting story and a celebration of love and life. Downright awesome!
I think I’ve been reading too many action novels because I spent the entire time waiting for something to happen. This book should have been called “how to have a good relationship with your spouse”. It wasn’t a bad read, but I admit I skipped most of the sex scenes, even though they were well written, but I found them rather long.
This book made an incredibly bold choice. I truly loathe the romance-novel tradition of the 3rd- or 4th-act conflict that drives the lovers apart. It’s almost never done well - it’s usually forced and/or otherwise contrived. You see it coming as soon as you have each character’s backstory. You know by Act 2 when they have their first kiss that if they would just *communicate*, they’d already be happily in the ever-after. I love books that skip that.
(Jericho is the best example of a book that sustains conflict and uncertainty through act 3 without it feeling contrived.)
This book made the bold choice of being ALL epilogue. It’s the ultimate wish fulfillment - we always know our heroines live happily ever after, but when have you read a full-length book that does nothing but chronicle the HEA?
Read this book, and you will have. It’s not full of prime examples of the writer’s craft; it suffers from the classic newer-writer challenge of being a whole lotta ‘tell’, and not a lotta ‘show’. But for all of that, it’s so sweet. It’s like a toddler you just watched bury her face in chocolate ice cream. You know she made a mess, but you still go “Awwww”.
I like bold choices, and while this book doesn’t *contain* any, it *is* one, just in its existence.
Nora and Leslie meet in college and fall in love. You follow them throughout their lives, school, work, marriage, kids and beyond...
One of the very best books I have ever read. This is a simple story about two women falling in love and living their lives. If you are the kind of person who needs random plot happenings (cliche ex coming in and screwing things up, misunderstandings that could be solved if people actually spoke to each other, or some other plot device solely added to move the story along) then you may not enjoy this book. It is lovely and heartfelt romance and quite honestly the kind of book I've been looking for.
I first read this book way back in 2018 and rediscovered it in my library. It's a beautifully written love story set over 40 years that leaves you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. Sadly it's no longer available on KU so you may have to try other sites but I don't think you'll be disappointed. P.S, there's some great steamy love making .
To be honest, as I started the book and was getting into it, I wasn't sure I would continue it as it moved relatively quickly. However, I did end up finishing it not even an hour later. It was a short, but a very cute read. I loved getting to know their stories, how they met and what the future had in store for them.
Here's a little snippet from the book that I found comical: "Can I lick the spoon? Mama lets me lick the spoon." Leslie, aghast, looked t0 her wife. "Nora!" Nora, aghast, looked to her daughter. "Viv!"
You, Me & Eternity is the story of Leslie and Nora and their life, love, and family spanning thirty years starting with their first meeting while in college. The book had me laughing, crying, and contemplating life. The book was a little slow getting started, but quickly picked up pace and my interest level.
The story it self is good but it’s probably better if it were a series written over time about their lives instead of one book. It made it as if this couple were so perfect and never ran into any problems.
If you’re into things dreams are made of the this is the book to read. If all relationships and families could be as perfect as this one the world would probably be a better place.
A very nice book. The meeting and the life in couple of two women, united by love. It's a bit slow but well written. I recommand it. Had the book for free on Amazon
