Wyn Sander enjoys the simple things in life—a variety of women, good friends, and working on cars. He’s not cut out for commitment. But with his older brother’s wedding around the corner, Wyn is rethinking his stance on exclusiveness. And he has the brown-eyed, exotic woman who barges into his garage to thank for it.
The sexy Russian socialite manages the impossible—capturing Wyn’s interest for more than a night. She’s everything a guy could want, but she’s made her stance clear. She’s in Sander’s Valley for one purpose—to plan her half sister’s wedding. In a month, she’ll be gone.
Challenge accepted. But navigating the murky waters of love and relationships isn’t Wyn’s biggest obstacle. Iona’s possessive ex wants her back. Suddenly being in love might bring deadly consequences. For both of them.
This series contains hot, open-door love scenes between dirty, sexy men and the rich, sophisticated women they've claimed. Because in Sander's Valley...opposites attract.
Bozhe moy! That's "Oh My Goodness" in Russian. I thought I liked the first installment in this series but I think this one is running very close to overtaking the honors. I rarely like the second installment in series. I usually find it the "middle man", leading us to the conclusion. But the great thing about this series is that each book is actually a standalone. Yep. And amazing!
Wyn is the brother of Kyle (Rewind and Go). He basically runs the local car repair shop. After being asked to be his brother's best man, a costumer walks in to his shop that has left him speechless. And that's saying a lot considering he's the "ladies man" of the town.
Iona is Ronnie's half sister (catch up in R&G) who has come to the States from Russia to be her maid of honor. Too bad the car she bought broke down just outside of town. Now she's found herself staring at a gorgeous man in a auto repair shop, undressing him with her eyes, hoping to actually BE undressed and under him. Yep, I went there.
The sexual tension between these two is crazy, sexy, cool (yep, a little TLC for those who are old enough)...but I distress. Iona has just escaped a five year relationship that's left her emotionally damaged. Wyn is a love 'em and leave 'em kind of guy, so when Iona only offers up sex, he's down. Too bad emotions start running high for both of them, forcing them to face the truth. Only one obstacle stands in their way. Can Wyn be the one to keep her safe?
Not that I wasn't already falling in love with these guys from Sander Valley, but Wyn is down right THE MAN! You want to drool over a man who not only gets his hands dirty on the job, but after hours as well? This book will not disappoint. I promise!
*I was given this book by the Author in exchange for my honest opinion.
Wow! Just wow! Corrigan has definitely blown me away with this novel. The chemistry sizzles, the relationship is real, and the dash of suspense and danger blew the roof off of it. I love how natural and inviting the writing is while at the same time engaging and exciting. Descriptions bring everything to life in a spectacular manner.
Corrigan has created characters who are endearing from the get-go. I absolutely loved getting to know them as individuals, almost as much as I loved them as a couple. The lives of the characters may not be easy but they’re definitely exciting. Wyn reminds me of a big teddy bear. He’s all heart wrapped up in one fine package. Iona is a force to be reckoned with, yet one who has a vulnerable streak as well. Corrigan writes hot sex that cements the chemistry and real emotions between these two while also showing how real everything is.
This was a brilliantly hot novel that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone. It was a great addition to the series but can also easily be read on its own.
Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.
I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads
This is the second in the series. It runs n directly from book 1, and whilst it is a lovely story in its own right, certain parts make more sense when read after Love Repeated. I am going to assume you have read book 1 in this review.
The story revolves around Kyle's younger brother, Wyn and Iona, Ronnie's newly discovered sister. It is sweet, very passionate and a hugely enjoyable read. I would say it is perfect reading for a day when you might be feeling a bit low, as it is cheerful, easy reading.
The second book in Nancy Corrigan's Sander's Valley series is about Wyn, Kyle's brother (book 1) and Iona, Ronnie's half sister (book 1). Iona is in town for a wedding and she comes across Wyn when her used car breaks down. Wyn can't believe his luck when this beautiful woman walks into his shop. Being the playboy that he is, he sets his sights head on for Iona. Both thinking they are going to have nothing but a month long fling before the coming wedding, things heat up between the two of them quickly. When Iona's ex-finance comes back into the picture she thinks she can handle the danger on her own. What both considered a fling might turn out to be just what both their hearts needed most.
I just love Nancy Corrigan’s books. I had read book one in this series and loved it, so I was excited to see book two come out. Don’t worry this book will be fine as a standalone.
Iona who was Ronnie’s sister was in to help with the wedding. Iona was from Russian. Her and Ronnie had not been raised together. They were just starting to get to know each other as sisters. Iona had suffered a bad breakup. Iona’s ex that was a real piece of work. Not only did he cheat on her but hurt her as well. Iona was standing her ground when it came to the fact she was not going to let her crazy ex order her back. The problem was everything that had happen to her had made her not want to trust men.
I so loved Wyn Sander. He was just a good ole country boy. When he saw Iona he knew there was something about her that he would do what ever it takes to make her his. He felt something deep within him that made him want to protect her. He just could not put his finger on what it was.
Iona had a hard time believing Wyn was available. Iona did not have plan staying long in Sander’s Valley so she was determined that her and Wyn could only have a fling. I loved how Wyn played her game thinking all along that he was going to make her his. He was letting her believe what ever she wanted to believe as long as he kept getting chance after chance with her. He felt the more time he spent with her the more she would not want to leave him.
Iona’s ex will not leave her alone. She is worried about Wyn’s safety and will do what ever it take to put a stop to her ex. Her foolish puts her in danger. Will Wyn be able to get to her in time to save her?
I love how Wyn proves time and time again that they are meant to be together. Sometimes it is the little things that show love. Like leaving small notes on the pillow and other little stuff he would leave here and there. Each little thing was just worming Wyn in Iona’s heart more and more.
This was a great story. I have to say Iona truly got a catch when she got Wyn.
Wyn has determined to be a bachelor, but meeting his brother's fiancée's sister changes his mind unexpectedly. Iona makes him want to settle down almost immediately, but the shadows in her eyes makes him realise his work is cut out for him.
I liked the pace of the book. There weren't a lot of details and delay tactics lengthening the story unnecessarily. The ending was a bit too tidy, but I enjoyed the story overall.
First off just have to say that this book contains lots of sex and it’s pretty instant. The story takes a bit of time to start but it’s mainly about a couple not into commitment but who actually fall in live. Little bit of mafia type involvement but mainly about the couple and how often and where they can find to have sex. If that offends you it’s not a book for you,
In this second installment in the Sander's Valley series two people from very different backgrounds make an unexpected connection when they set out to just have fun. What they get instead is a crackling and scorching connection from the moment they meet. Throw in a bit of danger from a man unwilling to let go of his obsession and you end up with an intense read that keeps you turning the pages at a rapid pace.
Wyn has always been seen as the player, never content with just one woman until the day an exotic and outspoken woman comes into his shop. From that moment he's consumed with her as they wage a sensual battle of wills where both end up winning when it comes to their scorching sexual interludes. Wyn always said he was waiting for the right woman and Iona looks to be the one though she couldn't be more different than him. At first he's not sure he's good enough as she's educated and he's not but it soon becomes clear that he's more than enough for her where it matters. Even though she wants nothing more than a fling he knows she's the one and through words and deeds gives her everything she's missed out on when it comes to love. When it comes to love though the path is never easy, and when her ex comes looking for her Wyn will become the white knight he always promised her he'd be in an action-packed conclusion. Wyn is sexy, sweet, and charming. He tries to be cool and casual with Iona's only wanting him for his body but his jealousy soon has him claiming her to everyone. He's protective of Iona but doesn't smother her, he lets her be the strong woman she needs to be after years of being dominated and I adored him for it.
Iona knew her engagement to Dmitry was stifling, with his constant put-downs and treating her as an object, but it wasn't until he tried to choke her did she run away. She's now left battered and bruised emotionally with him threatening her from afar. She just wants to forget for awhile and spending time with Wyn is just what she needs. She just wants a fling but his care and concern of her, along with his intense sexual prowess have her thinking long term. When Dmitry makes threats towards Wyn though she sets out to save the only man she's ever loved by putting herself in danger and jeopardizing the HEA just on the horizon. Iona is a sassy woman, unashamed when it comes to her sexuality. Her and Wyn are combustible when it comes to sexual interludes as neither shies away from saying what they want. While I admired Iona getting herself out of the domestic abuse she experienced with Dmitry, I found her attitude a bit superior at times and a bit wishy-washy when it came to what she wanted with Wyn. Luckily, he stood by her through it all which made their HEA richly rewarding and hard-fought.
This was a quick read teeming with sensuality, almost too many sexual interludes that had them becoming blasé. Their connection was full of witty and sexually-charged banter that made the early stages of their relationship fun and flirty. Wyn is an amazing and delectable hero who always put Iona first and this had me loving him even more. Surrounding this engaging couple is a large cast of secondary characters who are supportive and showed a strong sense of family that made for some heartwarming moments too. I look forward to revisiting Sander's Valley as there are many sexy men just waiting for the right woman and Ms. Corrigan just the author to show them the way to HEA.
This book had everything a good books should have. Suspense, mystery, second chances, lots of HOT LOVING, but the ending seemed rushed and the story seemed unfinished.

I was given this book from the author in exchange for honest review.
“I want to make love to you tonight, fall asleep with you in my arms, and wake up to your brown eyes greeting me.”
“Lickable”… Amazing introduction! The good girl meets the bad boy! Wynn Sanders is the one who has not wanted to settle down. He is content with love 'em and leave 'em. Until her. Iona Volkov sees him as the refreshingly sexy man he is, and even though she is resigned to the thought that she can't have him, she aches for him. He's a smooth talker and is walking his way right into every part of her.
The kiss that rocks their world and makes promises for more… There is no room for doubt that they have an immediate attraction to one another. We are given the opportunity to read both of their perspectives and learn their initial reactions to one another. Then, in one swift movement, we experience the first kiss between Wyn and Iona, and they are our new favorite book couple that we will cheer on to a, hopefully, happy ending. There are many other amazing moments throughout the pages of Love Refocused that reacquaint us with characters from the previous book and introduce us to new ones. We are privy to flirtatious and passion-filled moments as our main characters struggle to hold up the walls they have placed around their hearts. But, as they begin to open up to the possibility of what they may have with one another, circumstances and events threaten to hinder this resolve.
I am a new Nancy Corrigan reader and fan, and am thrilled that I was able to read and review Love Refocused. It was a fun, sexy, and steamy read. Wyn and Iona were interesting as individuals, but as a couple, they set the book on fire. The story line was fast-paced and filled with many scrumptiously intimate moments between our two main characters. I am looking forward to the next book this series.
Wyn Sander is the playboy of Sander's Valley. He does not sleep with you twice, he has made is rounds through every eligible woman in the county. Everyone loves him, he is rugged, sexy and has a talented tongue (in more ways than one). In book one we were introduced to Ione, Ronnie's half sister that she did not know she had. Ione is Russian and very much not looking for anyone to be her man. She has sworn them off since her broken engagement and refuses to do anything but wet her whistle.
Unexpected turns tend to be the ones that will turn lives upside down. Ione is set to stand opposite Wyn at her sisters wedding. She walks into the town auto shop after her car breaking down and shamelessly flirts with the mechanic that slides out from under the car. Little does she know that this is her sisters soon to be brother in law.
Wyn is taken immediately by her long legs, smart mouth and accent. You can feel the sparks flying in the air as you watch these two interact. One thing that is always the case is that the past will always try to bite you in the butt, whether it be because of old trauma or old dickhead boyfriends.
What a story, Sanders Valley has produced two very strong sexy men who simply cannot be duplicated. I think that I love Wyn a little more, he is a no holes barred kinda boyfriend who does not let you have time to think between hot steamy kisses! Give me more!
A story full of passion, humor and family!! 4.8 stars
Veronica and Kyle are preparing for their wedding. Kyle asks his brother Wyn to be best man, and Ronnie’s sister Iona will be maid of honor. Wyn returns to the auto shop which he runs for the retired-veteran owner, a drop-dead gorgeous vixen walks into his shop for help. After a flirty exchange Wyn realizes who she is – and asks if her name happens to be Iona, and proceeds to inform her his brother is marrying her sister.
Wyn initially reminds her of her ex-fiancé Dmitry, but that is in his 6’7” size only – because when Wyn kisses her he does not demand, but fans her desire like she has never experienced before. She caught Dmitry with another woman, but Dmitry claimed it was nothing, and insisted she return to him and wanted to control her. Iona even suspected he was having someone follow her. Wyn and Iona are absolutely incendiary together as wedding preparations continue. Iona does not want a relationship, and Wyn allows her to take the lead to be able to spend as much time with her as he can.
A touching story of unfortunate pasts and what it means to be with the right person. Full of passion, humor and family.

Another great read from Nancy Corrigan! In the second book of the Sander's Valley we get Wyn and Iona. Wyn Sanders isn't looking for a commitment, but when his soon to be sister-in-law's sister comes from Russia he starts to change his mind. Iona needs a break from Russia and her ex-fiancé so her half sister's wedding is the perfect reason. While she's there she wants to have some fun, maybe have a fling. Little did these two realize what they were looking for was what they found in the other. This book has it all, it's hot, they are adorable together and an ex that can't handle loosing. I absolutely loved it. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Love, love, love, this story! Nancy Corrigan does it again. This is book two in the series and wow! The characters just draw you right into the story liked you are actually watching it on T.V. Wyn, the best man, meets Iona, the maid of honor, before Kyle and Veronica's wedding. He's hooked but she isn't so sure. Can he convince her to take a chance before she goes home? The hot, sexy, sexual scenes as well as the little bit of suspense and action will have you anxious to find out what happens next while not wanting the story to end.
I was given this e-book by the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. My conclusions are my own. I was not compensated in any way.
I have no idea how Nancy can create so many hot and I mean HOT male characters in her books but she never fails. Her female characters are just as strong and never weak willed. Wyn just came over as a bit of a dog in book 1, you got the feeling the was more to him but you didn`t see it until this book. Well written with plenty of believable passion and an interesting storyline. I certainly wouldn`t be bothered that he was going to be my sisters new brother-in-law, I`d climb man mountain known as Wyn and Iona is certainly fit for him despite her Ex. To new readers I would recommend reading Rewind & Go first as this does contain spoils for it.
While I really enjoyed book 1, I absolutely loved book 2. Wyn has stolen my heart. His love for Iona knows no boundaries. He is the true definition of a perfect book boyfriend. Nancy really poured her heart and soul into this one. The heat factor was off the charts. There was also a period of intense action and heart pounding drama at the end. This book truly was the whole package.
I loved the storyline, it was interesting and had lots of detail. Oh and I just loved the characters so much. I did think that the their relationship started out rushed but it soon smoothed out and it was such a awesome book. I highly recommend it!
