This is an exciting sci-fi series featuring an endearing shape-shifting alien who has teamed up with a maintenance engineer and between them they are endeavouring to protect both Mimic's race, and the future of humanity as well.
A very fast paced story, with unusual but well drawn characters and lots of excitement, this box set gives 3 complete books in one, so is a great way to keep up with the series.
I have received complimentary copies of the individual books from the publisher, and have written separate reviews for them.

This is a boxed set. Books 4-6
When I finished these books and went back to review them, I couldn't find the boxed set. I hope you can.
Either way, I love this series.

If there is any fault with this series, its that each book is about 150 pages. You will find yourself moving through them like you're starving...lol
If you liked books 1-3 you'll love these.

The adventure continues?
As Higgens and his team of renegades try to help Mimi rebuild her world, they also have to prepare for a war with a far superior force. Higgens starts to realize that he has more to offer than he thought, as each person must use their individual talents to have a chance at survival.

Very good second book maintains the series high quality
The second book continues to surprise. There are several "in one bound he was free" moments, but they fit in well. It's science fantasy, and I enjoyed it immensely.

The fight continues
Lots of action in this set of books. Everyone is run off their feet training, teaching and building. The threat of aliens never goes away, but it’s that old ‘jealous power hungry loved one that betrays everyone.
