I want to read more. Short and simple but powerful words that capture feelings/emotions that you do not know how to put into words. She does this for us with this collection of poems.

Loved this collection of poetry immensely. I read it on the plane to Berlin around Christmas time and pondered over some of the poems for months.
I go back to read ones that seem to have stuck with me.
There’s a particular poem about mother daughter “love” that I felt right in my chest.
Beautiful writing. Beautiful poet. I look forward to the next book.

I've been following Yakari's poetry for years before she even had a book. I was always impressed and felt that I understood what she meant. I made so much of screenshots so I did not lose some Post.
Yakari's poetry made me think and feel in another kind of way. She gave me some kind of peace.
It was awesome and bought 2 extra for my friends.

Loved loved loved this book. It was a quick read that I know I’ll go back to over and over again. It felt like a love letter to women who march to the beat of their own drums.
