“Yours is a tragedy, a story written as a warning about forbidden love. Star-crossed and destined to end in heartbreak.”

Another Siren Coven book from Kim Loraine is here! This time around we follow the fallen angel Tamiel and his soul mate (though she doesn’t know it yet) Helena.

Tamiel is a patient being….waiting thousands of years for his destiny. Fighting for it each and every day until the time is right. Well the time is NOW! He has Helena and he is not going to let her go. Tamiel is strong willed, alpha-romantic <—-I many have just made that up but it totally works for him.

Adam chose the apple, but Helena is my original sin.

Helena has one thing (well maybe 2 ;) ) on her mind….save her sisters even if it means sacrificing herself. What could go wrong?? Oh yeah…that pesky little thing called love. She may not believe that she can love but her feelings for Tamiel are palpable and so obvious, she just needs to learn to let go.

I may have experienced a thousand lives, but I never truly lived.

There is so much heat and passion between the two of them yet there is this slow burn and the building of their feelings. From heaven to hell, and even purgatory, this will take everything they have to come out on the other end. Witches stealing power, venom clawed demons, the holiest of angels and a surprising twist character to lead us in to the next story! I am hooked on this series and cannot wait to see where it goes!!

Yes! I love this series. I love Tamiel and Helena’s story and the way they come terms to with everything and how they fight for each other. I love the turns this story has taken and how the plot is carrying out and the new character introduced. It’s so exciting and I can’t wait to see where it’s going to go! Bring on Gwen’s story!

When it comes to Kim Loraine and her Paranormal Romance books, I'm like a little girl at Christmas time bouncing from foot to foot in anticipation. Cursed Heart from her Siren Coven did not disappoint in the gift department!

I FLOVED Tamiel and Helena's story. Their love, heat and bantering is wildly entertaining and kept me entranced from beginning to end. Having Gwen, Izzy and Grant prominently present in Cursed Heart made me love Kim and her storytelling even more.

Hands down, Kim Loraine is my absolute favorite Paranormal Romance writer and I can't wait to get my hands on Immortal Flame. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I was torn with this book because I wasn’t a big fan of Helena’s in the previous book, but she totally won me over in this one. Finding out more of her story and the push and pull between her and her fallen. There were a couple of moments that brought tears to my eyes. It’s also super spicy.
The epilogue had my gasping and running for the next book.

Kylie Stewart and Jacob Morgan perform this book, and the narration wasn’t for me. I’m sure others would love it though. I will say there were a couple of emotional scenes that Jacob did really well and that had an impact on me. But overall, I wasn’t a fan of the accent work. Kylie was definitely my preferred for the accent work.

Helena was the witch I never thought I’d like. And Tamiel the bloody Angel who I didn’t know if I trusted. Well both proven better than expected. This story is a Great adventure, and world building with the perfect story speed.
The saying ‘the harder the shell the softer the inside’ is the perfect explanation for this witch. She will give up anything for her sisters, even her own love and power. While Tamiel went above and beyond Hells gate, in risk of the gift god just given back, all to save a soul. And I swoon. God this man is a sexy angel.

What happens with the ethereal collides with the mystical; when heaven and hell come together in purgatory and a fallen angel and a witch come together in an unpredictable love that spans the ages? You have Kim Loraine’s latest installment in her Siren Coven series, Cursed Heart.

Cursed Heart picks up right where Eternal Desire (Book 1 in the Siren Coven series) left off. We have “sister” witch Izzy happily in a relationship with her “beast” Grant, having beaten the curse placed on her and her “sister” witches a millennia ago. Unfortunately it still exists for her sisters and they are desperately trying to figure out how to save themselves from the pattern of dying young and being reborn, over and over, and over. But for Helena it seems an end is in sight, just not the one she wants. This time when she dies she’s going straight to purgatory to have her afterlife determined if it’s heaven or hell. Well, she’s been a pretty bitchy witchy up until now, so I think we can all figure out where she’s headed for eternity.

Enter Tamiel, a fallen angel who’s been running with the wrong crowd for quite some time, but now he’s on the path for redemption and to have the return of his angel wings. And he’s also on a mission to convince Helena that they are soulmates, and have been for a thousand years. He is never far behind where Helena goes, helping her maneuver this complicated path they are both on.

No one, and I mean no one, can write paranormal romance/erotica like Kim Loraine. She knows how to weave a tale so filled with love and lust, so steamy it’s hard to breathe, so sensual you find yourself fanning yourself so you don’t faint. Her stories are complicated with clever twists and turns you don’t see coming, leaving you anxiously waiting for the next installment.

All the characters from the first book in this series, and even a character from the Fallen Angel Trilogy are back in this second book. Wonderfully rich, they are characters you love to love and some you love to hate. Yes, some questions are answered and some things are explained in book 2, but there still remains one more “sister” witch to save, and I have a feeling it’s going to be a doozy of a story to tell. Let’s hope we can all wait for Immortal Flame, the third and final book in this series.

Fallen Angels, Witches, Curses

The Siren Coven Series just gets better and better with each book.

Cursed Heart is book 2 in the Siren Coven Series by Kim Loraine which is based on Tamiel and Helena’s story. If you haven’t read book 1 Eternal Desire Grant and Izzy’s story I highly recommend you do for several reasons,
1. It is an AWESOME read, 2. It has valuable events and information needed, 3. Cause I said to read it 😉.

Tamiel is a fallen angel that has taken on the responsibilities of Sariel which means when the 3 Witches Helena, Izzy and Gwen summon him he must show. Tamiel has waited for thousands of years for his soul mate to finally be his and he won’t allow anything or anyone take her from him again.

Helena can not and will not trust a man again, especially the hot, sexy angel named Tamiel. She can’t let her lust win when she is so close to dying again and needing to find Calista to save her sisters with any means necessary.

This was such a great read with so many fantastically original ideas, characters and story. I love the strong sisterhood between the 3 Witches and the strong love bond between Tamiel and Helena.

The best thing I love about this series is that with the characters having so many past lives, I love how Kim Loraine has added some history characters to the mix, Tristan and Iseult, Helen of Troy/Sparta and King Arthur and Guinevere. Thank you again Kim for writing another fantastic book.

A spell you'll love to fall under 💜

If I ever thought Kim's last book couldn't get any better, we'll I've learned my lesson now. This amazing series just keeps getting better and better. I've been so in love with these witches right from the start. Now Kim adds a historical twist, and things are getting even more interesting. Izzy and Grant's story had me hooked and kept me glued until I devoured Eternal Desire. Cursed Heart was no different with Helena and Tamiel. This book had it all! An enemies to lovers start with so much intrigue and steamy scenes, you will not want to put this one down.

Both of these characters were perfection! Tamiel was hella sexy in every way and a total swoonfest. Helena was a total kickass who pulled at my heartstrings with everything she has gone through.

This is book #2 of the Siren Coven series. Amazingly written in dual POV with its own HEA. I have loved Kim's writing style in any genre and the way I get sucked in to the character's world. Cursed Heart is a must read that will have you wishing you could wind up some magic of your own and find yourself your own Tamiel. I can not wait for Gwen's story and what happens with her knight in shinning armor.

Audiobook Review:

This was such a great second book in this series. I loved every moment of it. I loved the witches and angels and demons and just every paranormal bit of it. I also loved the nod to stories in history. The main characters were so well written, even in their sneaky or snarky moments, they were relatable and so likable. It had the kind of pace where you can't get bored. There is too much going on. And the ending... It was perfect. Both for the way it wrapped up Tamiel and Helena's story for now, and also set us up for Gwen's story.

The narration for this story was just... Everything! I LOVE Jacob Morgan's voice. Absolutely love it. And then you add an accent? I didn't want this story to end because I didn't want him to stop talking. And of course because the book was that good.

Kylie Stewart is a narrator I have enjoyed before and this book was no different. Her voice was fitting for the age of the character, she was so expressive and it was always perfectly matched to what the character was supposed to be feeling.

Overall this was a magical blend of writing and narration and I cannot wait for more from these narrators and this author.

I received this audiobook at request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Tamiel and Helena sparked in the first book in this series, Eternal Desire. While they didn’t take away from Izzy and Grant, it was obvious that they too had a spectacular story of love that needed to be told. We really get to see the bond and drive that these two characters have. I love this couple! The chemistry was both lustful and loving, and the banter was really the cherry on top. I like the push and pull that they had going throughout.

It’s also great to see the dynamics between the other characters as they make for quite an entertaining read. Again, the witches were incredible as the powerful sisterhood was emphasized and showcased wonderfully.

This story has taken unexpected turns that have really benefited the storyline of the series as a whole so far. It’s apparent that Kim Loraine is not only enthusiastic about this series, but that she also spends a great deal of time researching the various elements of her story.

CURSED HEART continues the Siren Coven which is proving to be truly special and unique. I am so excited to see where this ‘cursed’ journey takes us next with Gwen’s story!

I am not a "normal" reader of paranormal romances... they just aren't for me. That being said, this was a paranormal romance and I enjoyed it (surprised myself). it's the story of Tamiel (the "fallen" angel) and Helena (the witch). Helena needs help to survive a curse that will end her life and kidnaps Tamiel to get him to help her. There is travel to other worlds and demons and spells but the underlying theme of the story is the "unspoken" love between Tamiel and Helena. Both of their histories are not preventing them from admitting their true feelings but if they are both going to survive, they need to admit their feelings and form a true team to battle their enemies.
This is the second book of The Siren Coven series - I did not read the first one and at times, that may have helped me understand some of the backstory but it's still okay. Love is love and it's a nice love story and you get drawn into the characters plight and want nothing more than for them to find their happily ever after.

I am not a paranormal listener, but when it comes to the writing of Kim Loraine, I make the exception. This spin off series of the Fallen Angel Trilogy has me captivated. Tamiel knows Helena is his soulmate. But when Helena is convinced she cannot love, their story takes a turn. I love this story. Tamiel is nothing short of perfection, his devotion to his soulmate unwavering. Helena is guarded as she knows her fate. But together, this couple will endure the impossible. It's suspenseful, captivating, and oh so sexy. The best is getting to see the crossover characters, Michael, Gabriel, the mention of Sariel and Devin as well as the integration of Helena's sisters.The story has so much complexity, but is flows so easily. And the twist at the end, setting us up for book three just makes me crave more.

The duet narration by Jacob Morgan and Kylie Stewart fit perfectly with these characters. The compliment each other and have similar paces.These two nail the accent, put you in the scene and bring the entire story to life. I loved their flawless performance.

This book is an amazing continuation of the Siren Coven series. I listened to the audiobook version of this book and the narrators were fantastic. Jacob Morgan narrating with an accent was everything I didn't know I wanted or needed. He's been one of my favorite narrators, but this audiobook moved him to the top of my favorites list. Kylie Stewart also does a fantastic job of narrating this book. They perform this book in a duet narration and it adds so much more to the book than the other styles of audiobook narrations. Cursed Heart picks up soon after the end of Eternal Desire (Book 1). The books in this series are connected and it is necessary to read the first book in order to fully enjoy the book/series. In my opinion, it is also necessary to read The Watcher Series in order to fully understand the entire storyline and also because some of the characters from that trilogy are mentioned and/or make appearances in this book. Cursed Heart focuses on the love story of Helena (a witch that the Helen of Troy story is based on) and Tamiel (a vampire and fallen angel). This book is action packed and there's never a dull moment. Not to mention, it's an extremely steamy, sexy read. Cursed Heart is written in 1st person POV of Helena and Tamiel and does end with a HEA, even thought the overall storyline will be continued in Wicked Temptation and Immortal Flame. I'm a fan of Kim Loraine's paranormal and supernatural romance books and I highly recommend this book/series (and the Watcher Series) to anyone who is a fan of that genre. I also recommend that you check out the audiobook, even if you don't think you're a fan of audiobooks (I think Jacob Morgan can change your mind).

Don’t you love a good curse?
And if you are a witch cursed to die at 27 and do it all over again.

For thousand years, some say it would be a lesson, for her... living many lives left her hollow.

Something happens and Helena and her Siren Coven sisters dive in to the end of their reincarnation.

Helena takes a fierce challenge to protect her sisters.

Tamiel, one of the fallen angels, cursed to live as a vampire, spends again, thousand years, searching for his soulmate.

One day he finds her at 27 but has no time and she dies right in front of him. He waited and waited to find her again. Damn if he isn’t going to get her this time.

But that feared and fierce Helena was up to his challenge?

Oh the Sex scenes were great until they were interrupted. I could hold a curse as well.

A good ride I might say, a great story to follow! Waiting impatiently for the audiobook!

Fallen angels for the win!

She can't love. It isn't because of how she has been scorned or the pain she has inflicted. Calista pulled a double whammy on her. He swears she's his mate, but he can't let her know. When she needs him he's there. His mission is to keep her safe and be there if she ever gives him an inch. This author gives us a thrilling story with a duel war being fought. Calista isn't the only thing being fought this time. It's a great read as we learn more about the 2nd sister and find out her past. As the war rages and hearts are broken love is shown to be the strongest bond of all.

I love Helena's story and the way the author works us through it. Helena is a special one of the 3 and with all that has made her who she is, she's a tough, protective cookie. I love the story of these two with it's twist and heat combined into a great read.

After seeing Helena and Tamiel interact in the first book of the series, I was giddy with anticipation to see how their love story was bound to play out. The verdict is in ... and Kim did not disappoint with this one. Seeing Tamiel go against Helena and her attitude blow for blow was a spectacle to watch. Being a siren she is seductive, full of sarcasm, and an attitude that bites you like ice. I was afraid our fallen angel wouldn't be able to keep up with her, but boy was I wrong. Every lash she gives him, he takes and turns back to challenge her. Helena finally met her match and I was left enamored by their every interaction. Helen of Troy was not like the movies, and the passion Tamiel had at weaseling his way into her heart was beautiful.

What a page turner! This is my first read by this author in this genre. It was full of details, history, twists and turns. Helena and Tamiel are meant for each other, Tamiel knows it, but Helena does not, as they have a history and she can't remember him. Tamiel can't tell her either. Helena is one of three sisters, witches no less and they each have different powers. Calista is the evil one and she's ready to take over the world. Huge sacrifice to show each they they love each other, but it's too late. But wait, that's not the end of the story. Absolutely an awesome read and it took me on a wonderful journey. I can't wait for Gwen's story next.

I definitely think I would have enjoyed this book more if I'd read the first book in the series. It took me a bit to get into the story because I feel like I missed a lot of the background. The world the book is placed in is really interesting and fun, but it's also complicated with a lot of things to keep track of. In fact, I'm still not sure I completely understood everything that was going on at the end of the book. That being said, the romance was electric from the start and definitely helped to pull me in! The story was also really entertaining too and I think I need to go back and read the first book so I can enjoy it even more!
I listed to the audible audio book and as for the narration, I'd give the female a 4 star and male a 5 star!

Cursed Heart is the second book in the Siren Coven Series. I love this Series. This is a really good paranormal romance Series. This story is entertaining, intriguing and hot, of course! I love Tamiel (I love fallen angels!) and Helena! Their chemistry is strong and hot. I think they are my favorite couple. I also love Helena's sisterhood and their relationship. I also love the epilogue! I really enjoyed my reading. The sneak peek of Immortal Flame is intriguing and I can't wait to read Gwen's story. Kim Loraine knows how to write a good and intriguing story and how to build great characters. I can't wait to listen to this story on audiobook!

She weaves a wonderful story with characters that you fall in love with and provides the most enthralling storylines that keep you read reading until the very end.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A second book as nice as the first
What I particularly liked :
- as usual the mix of references and legends (here Helen of Troy but also judeo-christian, Arthurian myths and legends ...)
As a HUGE fan of Arthurian legends, I'm SO looking forward to read the next book with Gwen =D
I love this series and Kim Loraine does paranormal wonderfully! Cursed Heart includes all three sisters from Eternal Desire but the focus is on Helena this time. With Izzy’s curse broken, Helena is determined to free Gwen from the curse before she dies. Tamiel thought he had lost his soul mate forever until he found out she was one of the three witches cursed to die and be reborn for eternity. With Helena in his sight, Tamiel will do anything to keep her with him, including following her into Purgatory just to be with her! One of my favorite parts of this series is that each sister has their own tragic place in history, for Izzy it was the story of Tristan and Isolde, for Helena she is the face that launched a thousand ships. Helena was probably my least favorite of the sisters but Tamiel redeemed her in my eyes, they both sacrificed so much to save the other person! I can't wait until Gwen's story!
Unique story ideas and I love the soul deep connections. I listened to the audio and both narrators did awesome. I especially enjoyed the male narrator. I’m really liking the premise for this series so far! I’d recommend reading the first book before this one. Love the witches angle mixing with the angels. I wasn’t loving the female leads personality at times in this one, but I did like her sass. Sweet and sexy romance! Some hot stuff happening here! Tamiel is awesome! I’m excited for the next book; liked that there was a bit of a lead in to the next book in this story. Hopefully Gwen doesn’t keep being so fearful. Very entertaining series!
Helena and Tamiel have been destined for one another for many years. Helena is a witch who has lived many lives and Tamiel was an angel until he gave up his wings. He is now a fallen after giving up his wings for love. He finds his love again but the only problem is she doesn’t remember him. They both feel a connection but Helena believes she’s put him under a spell and that’s why he wants her. Will she ever find out truth of their connection? Will they get to spend forever together? I’m not a big paranormal book fan but I loved this book! I can’t wait for next book in series!
Cursed Heart is book two of The Siren Coven series and Helena and Tamiel's story. Helena, along with her two sister witches are trying to put an end to a curse that was cast upon them to die at the age of 27, be reborn, repeat life and death all over again. Tamiel is a fallen angel who is cursed to live as a vampire. He found his soulmate Helena but she died in his arms at the age of 27. This book takes you on a journey full of action, angst, magic, curses, romance and a beautiful love story. Loved Cursed Heart and I can't wait to read Gwen's book next.
Kim Lorraine, you are phenominal!!
The research into this book had to be hard, to say the least, I applaud you!
I Sooo loved Tamiel & Helena, and what they went through to secure their love. The twists and turns, blew me away, just when I thought they could find their connection, BAM!! Another wrench thrown into the story.
I also love the banter with the characters, especially between Tamiel, Gabriel and Michael.
I for one "cannot" wait for book 3.."Immortal Flame""!
Another fantastic book in this series. Helena has done both good and evil and she pays for the wrong she has done. Destined to die and took away in purgatory she accepts her fate so that she can protect her sisters. But he doesn’t. Tamiel has searched for years and he’s finally found her, his soul mate. If he has any say she won’t ever be alone again. Ups and downs, heartache and love, a wonderful story.
