Grieving over the death of Ava, Ashton’s life takes a turn for the worst at the most unexpected time. With his biological mother popping back into his life and learning of Petey’s deceit, he struggles to grasp the concept of his hardships. For so long, his heart has been closed off from love, but Ashton soon realizes it’s exactly what he needs to overcome his circumstances. Fresh into their blossoming relationship, Kenzy and Raazim are both learning what the true definition of commitment is. Though she has doubts and is severely hurt about Ava’s death, Kenzy takes a chance with her heart. Raazim only wants to be her chest to cry into and prove to her that he’s not in her life to hurt her. Instead, he wants to help her heal. Conflicted, Petey is simply taking the loss of Ava one day at a time. Moving on is the furthest from his mind but loneliness quickly settles in, and he finds himself questioning how soon is too soon to move on. In this whirlwind finale, more secrets are revealed, feelings are damaged, relationships are tested, and these characters must realize that love was what they were all in need of.

I really loved the finale of In No Need For Love. BriAnn had me in my feelings throughout the entire book. I loved how pure Ava's heart was, and how she touched so many people. This was such a great read and I couldn't have asked for it to have been written any better!!!
I thought the addition of the new characters added drama to the story as Tarren & her sisters didn't mind confrontations. She was also a good friend for Petey for the loss of Ava was heartbreaking. Glad for Ramona & Ashton. Good conclusion.
Part 2 in this series picks up where it left off in installment 1. The characters are back, but Ava's death has them rethinking their steps and moving different in life. That one fatal event has rocked the main characters to their core and they all try to move on and cope as best as they could. There isnt as much climatic events or high drama per say, but more so of a tying up of loose ends. There is some notable character development, esp with Ashton and Kenzy.
I think this fell short for me because side characters started popping up with a chapter here and there. It also introduced one new side character and some others but I felt that could have been done in Petey's chapters as that was in direct relation to him. It seemed irrelevant and didn't add much to the storyline or its progression. It's already a lot to follow a book with multiple characters having their own chapters; I felt that was lost in the sauce.
The conclusion was fitting and many questions were answered. Overall, a good series.
BriAnn does it again! I must say this book had me all in my feelings. Seeing how much impact Ava had on peoples’ lives in such a short time on this earth was refreshing. Life is about what happens while you’re here, regardless of how much time that involves. I’m glad Ashton got some closure with Ramona. He needed to man up and even from the grave, Ava helped facilitate that. I will say that I was rooting for him and Eirenn. I think they both misunderstood each other and lacked communication. I hope she finds love because she was really a good person. I didn’t care for BriShae and her insecurities. She played victim a bit and it wasn’t attractive. I think Petey and Terren could be good for each other as a couple. I would definitely love to read about their love evolving.
This was a great conclusion to this series. I’m so glad Ashton got his woman problems under wraps and actually opened up more. Petey my dude! I was so mad when him and Ash weren’t talking but, they were both hurting for perfectly valid reasons. I’m glad their friendship got back on track. Terren was a nice breath of fresh air. I liked her and her sisters. Ramona irked at first but, I grew to like her. Kenzy got on my NERVES in the beginning but, she got her act together. I’m happy for her and Raazim. Ava taught them so much about love while she was gone. Showed them to cherish each other because you never know when that person is gone. She was a prime example. Even in the next lifetime she was had all her family and friends back. Few grammatical errors but, not enough to take away from the story. Good job BriAnn
I'll be the 1st to say I love most of Brianns work, she's an amazing writer and you can definitely see her growth in all her work from the beginning until now. This book however just didn't do it for me, the 1st part of the series was amazing but this part just seemed to miss the mark. I wasn't sure how things were going to go with the death of Ava added into this part so I was curious. Personally the story felt rushed and forced almost like she wasn't sure what to do with it either. I did however like the growth that I saw in Ashton...that is what saved the story for me. The book overall wasn't bad but wasn't great like I'm used to from her but every thing isn't for everyone I still suggest giving it a try at the end of the day she's still an amazing writer.
My heart still hurts for her and every one! Glad to see they’re trying to move on but definitely not forgetting about her. Ashton story hits home for me! Being adopt you always have this feeling of not being wanted but I glad he got the opportunity and put his ego to the side to hear Ramona’s side. Not everyone gets that! I’m glad Petey didn’t fall into depression and is at least befriending Tarren *cough cough* spin off lol. Because we need more info on her to actually APPROVE of her Okurrrr??. All in all another book that made me feel every emotion ! Congrads on another bestseller🧡🧡
Loved this as I do all your books!!! I believe Raazim is added to my book bae list!! He so sweet and good that I just love him. Ash and Petey are just something else too but I love their savage too. I can definitely see Kenzy and Raa together cause they so different. Kenzy is definitely a firecracker and do not play about her feelings. I was so sad for them when Ash passed away.. I was crying when they was crying and in there feelings. I like Tarren for Petey and vice versa. When Shae put Eireann in her place I just fell out. I honestly think she still wanted Ash. Well written part 2 and I would love to see more of the new couples!!!! Great job!!!
I cried the whole book lol but on the real I’m away this hooked help me today is my husband brother birthday and he passed away almost a year now and the book just hit home and today is his birthday it’s so crazy it’s like I couldn’t read it into today it wa shard but yeah lol great book I loved everything I wanna here more from gia and her sister I like them & I’m glad my boy p found somebody I can’t lie I was so hurt when u fist killed Ava but it’s always a lesson behind everything you do and I love this one but great book can’t wait I To your next one keep up the great work
As always another great read. This author is quickly becoming one of my favorites. What I love most is that the stories are unique. So many times I’ll read a book and it’s like haven’t I read this before? But I am pleasantly surprised that each story that I’ve read so far has been not only well written and well thought out but unique and the development of the characters are amazing!!!
Sooo deep in my feelingssss. LOL I am still not over Ava’s death. I think that’s one characters death I will not accept. I must say though her being away from Ashton taught him how to love on HIS own, taught him how to forgive, and taught him that she wasn’t the only person who could be there for him. Death is never something that’s easy to get over, but Ava shined a light on the people in her life she was the blessing / lesson they needed. Aston learned, grew up, and became the man for Shae. Thanks Bri for your amazing writing. Keep it up ✨🙌🏽
This series ended with a great message and I so appreciated it. In the beginning Raazim and Kenzy were getting on my nerves with their childish ways and I was ready to give up but I’m happy I didn’t b/c the author delivered a banger. Petey still my bae and I’m happy he’s learning to heal from Ava. Ashton has really grown and I love the new him I’m so happy for everybody happiness. The only reason why it’s not a 5 b/c of the annoying errors in the book but I definitely recommend this series
As an avid reader of BriAnn's entire catalog this one doesn't disappoint. I really enjoyed reading this continuation from part one. Very well written and the character development was great. Very emotional at times for Petey and Ashton dealing with the loss of Ava. I love the relationship between Raazim and Kenzy & Ashton and Shae. I would love to read more about whats in store for Petey and Tarren, will their friendship develop into a relationship? And also Gia and Doughboy. Great job on an amazing series.
This was a perfect ending to a great series tragedy has a way of bringing people together i cried so hard through most of this book it was so touching , of course Petey needs love mourning isn't good and I believe Terran is the perfect match because they've experienced the same hurt and can help one another heal in time , so I would love to read a spin that consist of her and petey as well as her sisters hell the whole crew to be honest . as always I've enjoyed this just like anything else you've written . Keep bringing the fire 🔥
I felt so bad for everyone especially Ashton, finally learning the truth about his past. I was so glad he took Ava’s advice and started genuinely appreciating BriShae. Kenzy really was playing with all that back and forth with Raazim. He stayed on her neck and didn’t let up once. Now Petey… man, my heart broke for him. He finally found love, only for it to be snatched away. But I’m proud of him for also taking Ava’s advice. It’s good to see him working through his grief and opening up to a new friendship.
I did NOT want this story to end! It was so good! Eireann was back on my good side lol. Didn’t care for the friendliness with Ashton though. Team Shae 😆. Loved Tarren and her sisters. I hope to hear more from them especially if that means hearing more from Petey! Kenzy was driving me crazy with all that actin up but Raazim wasn’t having none of that! Loved them!
This book was so good. Ava made a such an impact on all of their lives and I’m glad that they learned from her. Petey was that dude and he deserves happiness. I hope we can hear more about him and Tarren. Glad Ashton got it together and I liked Shae for him. I understand why Ramona made the decision she made but I’m glad her and Ashton can now build a relationship.
I had mixed emotions reading this book, I went from laughing to crying to laughing and crying again. I felt everything in this book and honestly I couldn’t put it down. I must say this author really did her thang with this series. I connected on so many levels and I hope you continue to write. My favorites were all the characters honestly, Ava, Ash, Petey, Kenzy...all the main characters really touched me!!!!
This book has me in my feelings! I will say Kenz y made me mad at points in this book but she was merely trying to protect herself from being hurt again. I had a feeling Eireann was sneaky in book one and maintain that with book 2! She looked she had a case of buyers remorse from the past but she made her bed and now has to lie in it! Shae was a much better match for Ashton! I definitely recommend this book
This series has taught me a lotttt! Forgiving is key. Ava’s death made Ashton grow in many ways, in which he needed to. In Ashton’s eyes, Ava was the only girl there for him besides his mother because every other one had left him. Him moving forward with Shae showed major growth and letting the past go. Kenzy was definitely a tough shell to crack but I believe losing Ava made her realize that Raazim didn’t have to wait. Thanks for writing such a great series!! 🙌🏽
A great ending to good series, but I want to know more about the character especially petey and tarrren. I just want to know more about their journey. I'm happy for Kenzie and Ra. I appreciated how you took us through the journey of bereavement. Of course I love all the gems you drop just telling us to live life to fullest.
I really wanted to strangle Kenzy in the beginning, she was tap dancing on my last nerve. Ava’s death taught many people how to deal with the emotions of love, especially Aston. He was able to forgive his birth mother, give up other women and focus on Shae. I was especially glad when he and Petey repaired their friendship. BriAnn does it again!!!
This was an amazing story. All of my questions were answered for the most part. I love how these relationships worked out for the best. Looking forward to see what the future holds for the new and most definitely the old characters. Bri I think this is my favorite series keep up the great work
I loved the characters in this book they all went thru grief in their own way. I do think their should be a story about petey and tarran they seem like the deaths of their loved one will bring them together as a couple rather than just being friends. I'm happy Ashton finally got his self together with his mom and shae. Great read as always.
5 Stars to BriAnn for this amazing read! It was so good I thought I was part of the book. Losing Ava broke me down but I understand why it had to happen. The character growth in both Ashton and Kenzy was really good . I was very pleased with the ending. Would love to read more about Tarren and Petey.
This book had me so in my feeling i cited do many times out want funny! You can't do this again I'm like okay I can't read of her books because I'm stress the hell out. This book was really well written but i need to read a happy love story with no sadness and no death lordt!! Great read though!
Wellll, I loved the book. I’m kinda sad it ended tho lol. I wanna know more about where Ashton and Shae’s relationship goes and their wedding. I did like Tarren and her sisters and as much as I didn’t want Petey to move on, I wanna see them together. I think they’ll be good for each other. So w that being said, give us another book about them pleaseeee lol

Girl, yo butt know you be writing some ish. Loved it. Eireann was ok but I don’t ever gotta hear from her again lol. I think Petey need someone, not a rushed relationship though. I need more on Tarren and her sisters. I really wanna know what happens with Doughboy and Gia. Great Series boo!
I loved part 2 I'm still so emotional over Ada death but I loved the crew. There should be another book though to see what happens with Petey and his new found friend and her sisters. Erianne left to easy so I want to know what's up. Doughboy and His needs more story time too. I loved part 2. Great Job BriAnn
Ava...came through for all her love ones!! A lot of Oh Wow moments. Loved the Kenzy and Raz relationship and that they were able to weather her indecisiveness and Raz kept all his promises. Ash paternity issue was a surprise, but dealt with very well. He finally realized Shae was the woman for him!! Tarren is a good look for Petey...would like to hear more about their relationship.
