About the author

Jerry Bruce Jenkins is an American novelist and biographer. He is best known as the writer of the Left Behind series of books for Tim LaHaye and The Chosen novels to accompany his son Dallas's TV series. Jenkins has written more than 200 books, including mysteries, historical fiction, biblical fiction, cop thrillers, international spy thrillers, and children's adventures, as well as nonfiction. His works usually feature Christians as protagonists. In 2005, Jenkins and LaHaye ranked 9th in Amazon.com's 10th Anniversary list of Hall of Fame authors based on books sold at Amazon.com during its first 10 years. Jenkins now teaches writers to become authors here at his website. He and his wife Dianna have three sons and eight grandchildren.

Inspiring

I remember watching Billy Graham on TV through the 80's with my grandfather and my mother. Back then of course, I didn't know how much of an impact he would have on my life. Mr. Graham has been very inspirational to me and my whole family. I will be forever grateful to him and his ministries.
As for this book, it speaks volumes and I loved the quotes added in the chapters. The stories of Billy Graham and the scriptures add an amazing touch too. Thank you Jerry for writing a heartfelt outlook of an inspiring and devoted man who will be greatly missed!

I won this free Kindle book "In His Own Words: Inspirational Reflections on the Life and Wisdom of Billy Graham. I appreciated the format of the book. A quote by Billy Graham, an illustration of the quote and then the section ended with scripture. Having listened to Billy Graham on television, the cadence of his words and the passion of his wisdom came across clearly. This book was a refreshment on the person of Billy Graham. I would recommend the reading of this book.

A nice informational read about Billy Graham

I enjoyed the book, however it was very short and left so much out. To write about Pastor Graham, in so few words, left me wanting much more. I never had an chance to here him preach in person, however heard his words on radio and TV.

I so much growing up wanted to have a close connect to the Lord, as I felt that Pastor Graham did. I wanted to know more about his daily walk with the Lord. The repeating of Scriptures in the book, were will chosen and reviled much of Grahams heart, but I wanted more.

I hope that someday, someone will write a more detailed book, on this great man of the Lord.
