Ray Curtis is an investigator for a Grand Rapids law firm when he decides to make a career change. With his US Coast Guard background, he finds a new home with the Alabama Marine Police on Lake Gibson, where a murder has taken place on one of the islands. Ray continues his own investigation, despite being warned to stay out of the way by the local Sheriff. Ray’s resolve follows several leads including a trip to Galway, Ireland where he finds the story is more complicated than one can imagine.
