Hi guys! I'm the writer. How are you?

I'm a small-town girl from West Virginia who treats her dog like she's my kid. I developed a love for books nine years ago and became a book lover. I love to read and how it takes me on a journey and the emotions books bring out in me. I hope to bring those feeling out in you too! I hope to take you on a journey you won't forget. I started writing five years ago and published my first book in 2017. I'm not very social but you can always reach me on Facebook. Following me on here is also a good way to stay up to date with new books. Thanks for reading!

This story drops you right into the thick of the action and so we get to know a bit about the main character Basil as far as how she functions in the face of adversity right off the bat. It was a nice way to get to know their background a bit before her world is turned upside down and we get to the heart of the story.

Without giving any spoilers, Basil is a major person of interest in the world she winds up in. How she adapts to her new surroundings and learning everything she needs to know, despite how much it flies in the face of what she has grown up knowing is a lot of fun.

It isn't a very long book and the characters will hopefully become more defined as the series progresses but for the most part, they were distinct from each other. That we see them only through Basil's eyes is a big part of why we don't know more about them all yet.

The ending is a cliffhanger and sets things up for the next book, so be prepared for it.

It will be interesting to see how this world the author has introduced us to is further fleshed out and this was a fitting first book.

I’m on the fence about this story.

Basil always assumed her mother was just paranoid with her weekly exercises of running out to the woods in the middle of the night.
Doing so again, she doesn’t think anything of it.
Except this time it isn’t.
There are strange people chasing after them and Basil’s mother isn’t exactly what she claims to be.
Being thrust into another world with no clue what they are saying half the time is hard enough.
Learning you are the “dead princess” and the one to fulfill some prophecy is just the icing on the cake.

I liked the premise of this story.
However, the writing was not well executed.
There are inconsistencies with the description of the main female character Basil.
The age, her eye color, and hair color all seem to change later on in the story.

It’s a short story and ends on a cliffhanger.
I’d liked to see where this leads but it will definitely need better editing.

I’m on the fence about the book.
Neither hating it nor loving it.
We shall see what the next book brings.

Literally just finished this book was soooo good and can’t wait to see more so far it is very fast passed and very short I don’t normally like books that are short or fast however this book was very good and grips you from the very first page I can not wait to read the next book and am hoping it comes out soon as I very well need it the main Female is a good lead but hoping she gets more badass as the book progress as she did at the end of this book because that was a badass move and loved it you defo need to give this a read the reason I have giving it 5 stars when it’s short was because I loved the story and it didn’t take away what I loved so I couldn’t justify taking a star off for being short when I was pulled in from page one

I really liked this book.
Finally a woman/girl who is scared but does not cry all the time and shows her strength.
Basil is 'just' a girl who lives with her mother and one day she has to flee.
The new people she meets are nice and not so nice.
Prince is adorable. Who is Prince? You just have to read the book then.
The book ended really awesome and I can't wait to read the next book!!

If A.M. Martin needs beta readers or ARC readers; I'm hopping up and down and shout: 'Pick me! Pick me!"

So in a nutshell...Girl lives in human world as regular girl. One night all of her mom's craziness turns out to be real and she is sent back to her original home world. In this world she is a long lost princess destined to have a bond with several males.

This wasn't that bad. I kinda liked it for the most part except for one thing. I don't like that a lot of female characters are supposedly strong and tough but really they're just bitches...that does not equal strength or character.

I’m kind of at a loss for words to be honest. This book was recommended to me and I’m glad it was. While it’s a short story, it pulls you right in, starting fast and strong and ending the same way. Fast. Is need more. What happens to Basil? Does Rylan catch up with her? Where was Prince at the ending???

I enjoyed this story although it was very short. Cliff hanger ending. The characters were pretty much just introduced with this book and although there are relationships starting nothing is really secure.

It's very short story, but I liked it so far. Basil has her moments. None of the other characters are much fleshed out yet.
