But their paths are about to collide on a much grander scale, one that will threaten both their lives and everything they believed to be true.

Kidnapped by the SEAL I've been in love with this series from the beginning but this might just be the best one yet. From the fury of an out of control Mother Nature to the insidious evil men inflict on one another, this book has everything: drama, suspense, intrigue, action, and the author's somewhat ruthless use of the question "what's the worst that could happen?". When doubts about his sister's suicide compel him to dig into her death, Noah finds himself in the middle of a much bigger mess than he could have imagined. Hannah's always questioned the heart attack that took her late husband from their family but she never would have guessed it would take a hurricane to unravel the puzzle. The instant and powerful chemistry between Noah and Hannah is obvious from their first meeting. I loved how Noah steps up to protect her and Brady from everything that's happening around them - even when he's being a jerk about it. I especially liked how strong and independent Hannah is. She's a capable professional who's been overwhelmed by circumstances. She stands up for herself and her son and even offers Noah support when his strength falters. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book because it looks like we go back to where it all started, with Hawk and Olivia. Forever with the SEAL A fantastic way to bring us back to where it all started: with Trevor and Olivia, and introduce us to a new batch of SEALs to fall in love with. This is fast-paced romantic suspense with elements of a psychological thriller. I adored watching Olivia identify her weaknesses and work to overcome them. Trevor’s still one of my very favorite HEROs, and the way he commits to doing anything for Olivia just confirms why I feel that way. It just about killed me to see Olivia’s doubt in Trevor and their relationship, though. Protecting his Witness Sigh! A tragic, gothic hero. Be still my girlish heart. I love a hero in uniform. Make him flawed yet redeemable and I think he's irresistible. This is Luke to a “T”. Summer appeals to every nerd-girl part of me. She’s sassy and feisty and so bloody smart. She has a quiet innocence about her that nicely balances against Luke’s battle-weariness. I loved the push-pull, will-they/won’t-they through the whole story. A couple of recent books I’ve read kept the romance and the intrigue as two separate plot lines that occurred independently at completely different times in the story. This is what I wanted those books to be. The budding relationship between Summer and Luke heightens the tension as they try to protect her life and her research. And the growing intrigue and tension intensifies the chemistry between the pair. It almost killed me, and my reader nearly learned how to fly, while watching them fight so hard against their attraction. This is a brilliant start to this new spin-off series and I can’t wait to read more about the men of HERO Force New York. I received a complimentary copies of the stories in this book.
Kidnapped by the SEAL: If dealing with his sister's death wasn't enough, the approaching hurricane has Noah out in a storm looking for last minutes supplies. His trip to local the store is not without incident, leaving him with bullet wounds in his leg. Overhearing the clerk speaking to Hannah and realising she is a doctor, she is exactly what he needs. Due to the circumstances, Noah knows there is no time for explanations and he, therefore, kidnaps both Hannah and her son. The story is fast-paced and suspenseful, and it is only as the truth evolves, that Hanah and Noah come to the realisation that their lives are more intertwined than they would have thought. As sparks fly between Hannah and Noah so the sparks fly off the concrete as gunfire is exchanged. The addition of six-year-old Brady increases the tension in the plot, making both Noah and Hannah's decisions that much harder.
Forever with the SEAL: Following on from Stranded with the SEAL, when Olivia gets threatening letters, Hawk realises that his first responsibility is to her and not his team. Olivia knows all about terror, but the threats she is receiving go beyond anything she has previously experienced. Hawk arrives in Paris on location only to recognise a threat when he sees one. However, even though Hawk neutralises the threat, Olivia is still in danger. Hawk draws on the one available resource that he has, namely his old CO who is also living in Paris. Ultimately, it takes both Hawk and Mac to bring Olivia's stalker to justice, and the reader is also introduced to Mac, who becomes a focal point in an upcoming series.
Protecting his Witness: With her life's work blowing up in front of her, Summer Daniels has more than a destroyed laboratory to worry about. The realisation that the plant was sabotaged and that her life is under threat, makes her turn to the HERO Force to help her find the missing element required to replicate her work and the man responsible for the attack. Coming face to face with the SEAL she knows as Wiseman, Summer chooses him as her bodyguard, given that he was not only her brother's best friend but that she had corresponded with him for years whilst doing her studies. Luke would rather not have to face Summer given his past, but he is also unwilling to allow anyone else to keep her safe. As the race speeds up to finding the missing brancium and to stop the actions of a madman, the attraction between Summer and Luke escalates, but first Luke has to get over the hurdle of telling Summer the truth about her brother and the resulting fall-out. This military-style novel is well written, fast-paced and exciting. Although romantic, it is also has a dramatic plot that kept me reading almost as fast as I could turn the pages.
Each book in this series is a standalone and comes to a good conclusion. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
KIDNAPPED. BY A SEAL Great plot, but didn’t like the swear words, or sex. Life and death, been taken from two families, without reason. Till by chance they meet, at gun point, together they may make it out of the danger. Then find out they were connected, and both wanted the truth. Good story, good author, but won’t be buying more. FOREVER WITH A SEAL Trever seeing the letters from a stalker, made him realize he was like his dad, being a detective, job always came first. He didn’t want to lose Olivia, he had to let go of what he had been proud to be, find a new purpose. He could start his own Hero Security, and wanting Max to run it, so he could be with Olivia when she needed protection. Max life has been in the dumps, since his wife and three kids left, life was over, as far as he was concerned. Till a situation of saving Olivia life, changed all that. He wanted a team of broken men like he was, and Trevor agreed. Short story, but powerful, of two men, coming to terms of what was the priority in their lives. Can be read alone. Her books have good plots, don’t like the over amount of swearing, sex.
This certainly is a series worth reading. There is so much action and intensity, you keep reading on until the next book in the boxed set. I also appreciate that the first book of the Shattered Seals Series is included in this set. Protecting His Witness: A Hero Force Novel, is exceptional. All the “Seals” stories are great but I especially enjoyed the Shattered Seals storyline and none of the members of the group took life for granted. They had lived through the worst the war years could hand them, lost limbs, friends and patriots plus fought PTSD. This new unit out of New York has a real purpose and I loved it. Thanks for great writing.
5 stars for HERO Force Box Set Books 7-8 and Book1 of Shattered Seals by Amy Gamet
One of the best ways to read an entire series is in a box set. Books 7 to 8 are truly amazing. These navy seals do not disappoint. Amazing reads with lots of intrigue and suspense. A lot of love. A lot of hotness. Lots of feels. Lots of laughter too. You can't go wrong in reading about navy seals with their forever loves. Can't wait for the next box set of HERO Force series.
