Treasure Hunter Security series and what a series it is.
Action, suspense, mystery, danger and romance are just some of what to expect when diving into one of Anna's books. Don't forget the humour. Logan just cracked me up with the things he hates. The treasure hunters are called upon when protection is needed and ancient artifacts are sort after but they go into alpha mode when trying to protect.
But let's not forget the sexy, alpha men and women who protect and find their someone else even though they are players beforehand.
A great read for some much needed me time.

UNDISCOVERED
After reading Mrs Anna Hackett new series Team 52, I had to read the series that began everything.
And I loved it as much as the Team 52 series, it is contemporary as I love it, far from billionaire and office, action packed with alpha heroes with big heart and no jerk attitude associated with strong and smart heroines far from the usual damsel-in-distress.
As for Team 52, even if it was written before, all the characters have deep scars left from past battles, physical and mental, after the men built walls around them while the women use them to better themselves.
Declan lives with a deep guilt to have been unable to bring a murderer to justice and since follows the trail of the bodies left behind.
Layne shaped her life to honor the memories of her parents, she has become an archeologist because of the love for history they have shared with her.
From the moment they meet, each one rubs on the skin of the other, and at the same time they ignite things they thought impossible or not for now.
Together while escaping grave robbers and murders, they follow the tracks of a mystical city and found in another their other half.
UNCHARTED
I do think I even preferred this second story to the first one.
I loved both main characters, each with its flaws and talents.
Callum like all Mrs Anna Hackett’s heroes has physical and mental scars, which he hides behind a cheerful and hyperactive personality while in fact he jumps from one activity to another to avoid commitment.
Dani comes from a fractured family where appearance, money are what drives it, plus cheating on the others. Why retreated from life and now observes it through the lenses of her camera.
Both in fact are running away from relationship, one afraid to be hurt, the other not believing it lasts.
I do loved their journey together to find another, it had its usual actions, bad guys and mystery to solve plus some sexy times.

Logan is the brooding sort alpha hero, he was used and betrayed by a woman, since he can’t find in him to trust one again.
Sydney has learned to put a mask on her face, hiding her feeling and who she really is from her family and all those around her, so much it has become a second nature for her and she appears as an ice queen.
The plot brings them together in what should be an out of her usual path road for Sydney but she keeps up and it intrigues Logan, he soo realizes she is not what she seems to be.
This story is their journey to trust another as they have secrets and wounds.

This boxset comprises an excellent, well-written, compilation of three rivetting books that I would have no hesitation in recommending. I have previously received and read a copy of all three books in exchange for honest reviews, which I now give below:
Review for: Undiscovered
What a wonderful and exciting story this was to read; there is so much going on it just draws you in. Declan has been asked to protect an archaeological dig, following Layne’s attack and the theft of recently found artifacts. Declan’s objectives are quite clear: ensure no more artifacts are stolen; protect the safety of the dig’s workers and recover the stolen artifacts. When Declan realises his adversary is none other than Ian Anders, a former soldier and now black-market operative, it is clear this was not going to be an easy task. Ian likes to hurt and kill and has no compassion whatsoever, made more desperate because of his current financial situation. The dig is plagued with accidents and mishaps, though one such occurrence reveals a surprising find, a clue to a place that has always been a myth - Zerzwa, a lost oasis filled with treasure, the home of Seth, a demonised God. There is a mutual attraction between Layne and Declan, but each are harbouring a past that is not easy to let go. A man was never in Layne’s plans and whatever had happened with Anders had left a lasting scar on Declan, which he had not let heal. When Anders’ team infiltrate their camp, they have no choice but to flee into the desert. After taking shelter from a sandstorm, they are confronted by unfamiliar terrain, but as they head out they find clues that eventually lead them not only to a temple dedicated to Nephthys, but the path to Zerzwa - but Anders is right behind them and he has only one purpose in mind. Declan has survived so many dangers and missions and finally found the one woman who has broken through his self-imposed misery; how could he lose everything now? And what about the mythical creatures they encounter; can they really understand Layne?

An excellent, well-written story, full of imagination, adventure, intrigue and love – what an exceptional story. Callum made a vow to a dying friend that he would live enough for the both of them, even if it meant forever challenging himself. Having now left the SEALS he is working for Treasure Hunter Security and his current assignment is in Cambodia, working for the Angkor Archaeology Project. A mixed team of archaeologists from around the world were focused on studying the ancient Khmer Empire; they were looking for security for a jungle expedition to a lost temple and Callum expected this to be a straightforward job. Dani would be joining the team; a world-renowned photographer of ancient sites, Dani not only captures the old temples and their sense of history, but the feelings they elicit and it is this that makes her photographs come alive, giving Dani everything she needs. Callum thought Dani was one prickly, annoying woman, but there was something lonely about her and she didn’t connect to the people or places she studied. Dani has already pegged Callum as tough, potent and dangerous, but hadn’t expected the sharp intelligence she saw in his face, the camera hinting that beneath his barbed exterior was someone quite different. The expedition is jeopardised when Silk Road become involved, headed up by a ruthless, former Russian intelligence woman known as Raven. When the temple of the sacred linga is reached, it does not contain the mythical stone that everyone is looking for, known as the Cintamani stone, but it was still a fabulous undocumented temple to investigate and record. Dani is happy that she captured the best moments of their trip before everything went horribly wrong, not realising that her pictures hold a clue to the location of the Cintamani stone; what is more surprising is its actual location and why it has never been discovered. Can Dani and Callum now find the Cintamani stone before Silk Road do, or are there other factors in the equation?

Drew, Sydney’s brother, has been abducted by Silk Road, but it is all a ruse. Drew had been fine and excited a few days ago when Sydney had spoken to him and told her he was on the trail of an ancient pre-Incan culture. Sydney calls on Treasure Hunter Security (THS) for help, knowing they have foiled Silk Road before. Logan is used to people taking one look at him and deciding he is big and dangerous, but not very smart. When Logan looks at Sydney, all he sees is icy perfection, no emotion, no distress, nothing; she is a real cool one, but she isn’t dumb. Sydney has lived her entire life with people looking at her and making assumptions. Logan is intrigued, he wants to know the real Sydney. But Logan has previously been taught a hard lesson; Annika had shown one side of herself, exactly what he had wanted to see, while her other, hidden side, had almost killed him. Logan’s eyes made Sydney think of her father’s favourite scotch; even the eyes of a big lazy lion ready to hunt, and she is drawn to him. Drew is obsessed with the Warriors of the Clouds and is investigating evidence they were advance healers. He believes there is so much more about them that is still unexplored, but Silk Road has heard about Drew’s discovery and is on his trail. Up to now Drew has been able to give Silk Road the slip, leaving cryptic clues for Sydney to follow, but Silk Road is threatening them at every juncture. Drew’s final clue is a video recording, saying he had decoded a Cloud Warriors’ quipu, and what he has found will be the biggest find of the century. But is there something more important than treasure awaiting them!

I am pleased with the prospect of Anna Hackett's new series. She wields a deft hand in bringing mythical stories to life. "Undiscovered" has tons of glorious intrigue, the nastiest villain imaginable, a 'wounded' hero and heroine who show incredible inner strength when the going gets tough, and an awesome support team. There is so much packed into this story that there is never a dull moment and new surprises at every turn. Read and enjoy! I can't wait for more!

Callum Ward of Treasure Hunter Security is sent to Cambodia as security for a group of archaeologists with the Angkor Archaeology Project, looking for a 'lost' temple in the ruins of Mahendraparvata. Since they aren't expecting treasures to be found, it should not be targeted by thieves. Except...they haven't told him everything! It's a good thing he's got great 'connections!'
Daniela Navarro is a renowned photographer accompanying the group, whose specialty is photographing ancient sites. Callum and Daniela have an attraction, although neither will consider a 'relationship.' There's something, though, about being in a dangerous situation that makes people re-think their priorities!
With great skill and heart-pounding scenes of danger, Anna Hackett brings ancient legend to life as our group treks through Cambodian jungles. Reading her books is an education in itself! Her men and women are strong, capable people; the kind you'd like for friends. A joy to read!

CEO Sydney Granger hired Treasure Hunter Security to rescue her brother from kidnappers. Silk Road wants $5,000,000 in ransom money. Logan O'Connor, haunted by a previous betrayal, doesn't trust women, especially when they're hiding something. Sydney is definitely hiding something! Logan is a big, untamable force of nature. Sydney is a slim sophisticate who doesn't look as if she's done a lick of work. SO out of Logan's league! But the attraction is there.
In seeking clues to find where her brother might be, Sydney and the Treasure Hunter Security crew run into all kinds of danger. Where is her brother? As with any treasure hunt, finding clues and interpreting them correctly is the way to succeed. There are many edge-of-your-seat thrills as they make their way toward the Warriors of the Clouds.
And I love the single-minded focus of a big man who has fallen hard!
Anna Hackett takes this adventure to a satisfying conclusion with unexpected twists and turns along the way. The attention to detail in researching the Peruvian Andes is readily apparent [this started a side adventure to learn more, myself] and greatly appreciated. This is not to be missed!

Former SEAL Declan Ward s the son of a famed treasure hunter and an archaeologist. He grew up around the world of ancient history and he is as comfortable in a musty dig site as he was in the thick of action in his Navy days. When he and his colleagues are contracted to secure a new dig, little did he realise that he was about to take the biggest adventure yet - falling in love!!
Dr. Layne Rush is a total history hottie! She forgets the rest of the world exists when she is on the hunt and she has never really been good at relationships. She prefers it when her friends have been dead for a few centuries! But when she is attacked and a relic stolen she bows to pressure and the security team moves in. She soon learns that there is more to the large, muscled, ex-SEAL than brawn.
I LOVED this series. I'm a huge Indiana Jones fan and this was a wonderful take on the same kind of world. I love all things ancient so I loved getting swept up in the history and myths of ancient Egypt. There is a great mix of action, adventure, passion and a little "divine intervention". The characters are complex and have a back history and are not just 2 dimensional. Dec's mum and dad are totally kickass!!!

Callum is the adrenaline junkie, death defying stunt loving part-owner of Treasure Hunter Security. When he is sent to Cambodia to help protect an expedition to find a lost temple with a bunch of archaeologists he thinks it's just one in another long line of jobs.
Daniela Navarro is a child of privilege but she ran from her pampered life style. She learned the hard way that "love" is to easily banded about, especially by men. Men like Cal!! This tightly muscled warrior may be just what the team needs to protect them but she can handle herself just fine!!! She is tagging along to take shots of the ancient site. But as the callous Silk Road thieves rear their heads again, Cal and Dani face more action than even Cal feels comfortable with.
Cal continues in the rip roaring style I'm becoming accustomed to in this new, earth bound, adventure series. He is a brilliant mix of alpha but caring and supportive! Dani is defo able to take care of herself but she does tend to stand in her own way, cutting off relationships before they can break her very fragile and much repaired heart!!!

OMG McGrumpypants falls in love!! Think Indiana Jones meets Romancing the stone - action/adventure with a slice of hot romance and snarky humour. The camaraderie between the team is very believable and I love the fast pace. Logan is alpha male to the core but hides a soft(ish) centre (well hidden by all that grump!!!). Sydney has aced the whole icy CEO persona to cover the fact that she doesn't even want the job but feels obligated to carry on the family business.

She soon learns that there is more to the large, muscled, ex-SEAL than brawn.
I LOVED this series. I'm a huge Indiana Jones fan and this was a wonderful take on the same kind of world. I love all things ancient so I loved getting swept up in the history and myths of ancient Egypt. There is a great mix of action, adventure, passion and a little "divine intervention". The characters are complex and have a back history and are not just 2 dimensional. Dec's mum and dad are totally kickass!!!
Uncharted
Callum is the adrenaline junkie, death defying stunt loving part-owner of Treasure Hunter Security. When he is sent to Cambodia to help protect an expedition to find a lost temple with a bunch of archaeologists he thinks it's just one in another long line of jobs.
Daniela Navarro is a child of privilege but she ran from her pampered life style. She learned the hard way that "love" is to easily banded about, especially by men. Men like Cal!! This tightly muscled warrior may be just what the team needs to protect them but she can handle herself just fine!!! She is tagging along to take shots of the ancient site. But as the callous Silk Road thieves rear their heads again, Cal and Dani face more action than even Cal feels comfortable with.
Cal continues in the rip roaring style I'm becoming accustomed to in this new, earth bound, adventure series. He is a brilliant mix of alpha but caring and supportive! Dani is defo able to take care of herself but she does tend to stand in her own way, cutting off relationships before they can break her very fragile and much repaired heart!!!
Unexplored
OMG McGrumpypants falls in love!! Think Indiana Jones meets Romancing the stone - action/adventure with a slice of hot romance and snarky humour. The camaraderie between the team is very believable and I love the fast pace. Logan is alpha male to the core but hides a soft(ish) centre (well hidden by all that grump!!!). Sydney has aced the whole icy CEO persona to cover the fact that she doesn't even want the job but feels obligated to carry on the family business.

Loved this fast-paced boxset full of action, danger, and edge of your seat suspense. And Stella Bloom does an excellent job bringing the characters to life.

And who knew Logan had such a sweet tender side? These two prove you never know what's under someone's exterior.

'Undiscovered'
A fascinating story with lots of action, good vs. evil, and Egyptian history (if it's true). I loved the main characters, Delcan & Layne & hope to get to know Delcans' team in future stories.
Overall, the narration was really well done.
'Uncharted'
I don't usually get into jungly stories, preferring more civilization, but this one was good. I wasn't exactly sure I would like this series, but again, I am being proved wrong. The series is engrossing and action filled. One thing that is different in this series is that so far, we haven't really gotten to know the rest of the team. These first two stories have concentrated on the two main characters almost exclusively. I know who the others are & their roles, but that's it.
The narration was on point even with all the different accents.

A gripping story. After the first two stories, which were based on expeditions, this one is based on a missing person. I liked the twists and turns the story takes. This time, we see more of the other THS (Treasure Hunter Security) operatives. I really enjoyed getting to know them as well.
It is great to have the same great narrator for all the books.

If you have been waiting to try THS (Treasure Hunter Security) series in audio, here are the first three in the series for one credit. Anna Hackett brings the landscape of the Egyptian desert and the jungles of Cambodian and Peru to life in a action pact thrill ride with intrigue reminiscent of Indiana Jones. Each of the artifacts are based on real legends but with very cool twists. I love this series. Enjoy!

Another great series
This 3 book set includes the stories of Declan & Cal two brothers who own Treasure Hunter Security and their friend & employee Logan who works for them. They meet their future partners on archaeological expeditions in Egypt, Cambodia and Peru respectively. Not only is the chemistry great between the couples but the camaraderie between all the characters at THS is great. It’s one of the best things about Anna Hackett’s books. Looking forward to the next book

I read each of these books when they came out and wow! I'd been a fan of this author's science fiction romantic adventure series previously and was thrilled to find her earth based romantic adventure series is every bit as good. She has become one of my must read authors with her imaginative storylines, world building and engaging characters. You can't go wrong with any of her books, but especially with this box set.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading the first three books in this series. Most of the characters who own and work for Treasure Hunter Security are ex Seals and are part of a famous adventure family. These tales are fun of action and suspense. Good against evil. Each book highlights a specific member of this security firm detailing their adventures against a vile and evil organization who ruthlessly kill to obtain wealth.

Anna Hackett delivers again!
I absolutely love her books 📚I seem to become addicted to her characters and storylines by the end of the first chapters. This series is no different. It's a wild ride filled with action, suspense and a whole lot of attraction and passion from the H&h. I love the elements of history,myth and legend. I'm a history teacher and to see the subject I love most at the heart of these action adventure love stories is awesome. I can't wait to read book 4 the series.

Adventure, Treasure, Sex...Oh My
Glad I decided to start this series. Love all of Anna Hacker's book. Just kept putting off buying these books sense everything else I read of her's was included in my Kindle Unlimited. Now I'm addicted and on to the next story. Definitely well worth the time and money.

This is a nice aeries which covers books 1-3. I liked the action, suspense and romance. The characters are fun flirty, academic and muscular. I enjoyed meeting the THS crew and finding out what they do and why they love doing it. The scenery in the stories were great.
The narration by Stella Bloom was divine. On to boon 4. I cant wait to see about Morgan and the undersea dive.
