A Missing Ferryman. An Undead Dilemma. An Immortal Detective.

An emissary from the Dark Council has just materialized in the office of the Montague & Strong Detective Agency, and makes Simon Strong an offer he can’t refuse. Charon is missing. The legendary ferryman responsible for transporting souls across the river Styx hasn’t been seen in days. And with each passing hour, those unable to cross the river are left to walk among the living, tilting the world further out of balance.

Meet Simon Strong, an immortal, who is also the best private detective in New York City. Together with his surly partner-Tristan Montague, a mage of indeterminate age, they must find the Ferryman and get him back to work before another Supernatural War ravages the earth, destroys humanity, and Simon’s local Starbucks.
Time is running out. His landlord wants the rent and Karma with a capital K is paying him a visit, and she can be a real…

Join the Montague & Strong Detective Agency and help them locate Charon, so he can restore balance to the universe, put the dead to rest, and maybe solve the age old conundrum-coffee or tea?

Full Moon Howl

Mystery. Malice. Revenge.

Broken bodies and bloody messages are appearing in the darkest corners of New York City. Infected werewolves are roaming the streets attacking innocents.

The Dark Council demands answers. They summon Simon and Tristan to investigate. The evidence points to the work of a powerful mage, unfortunately, there is only one mage in the city powerful enough to cause this kind of infection-Tristan Montague.

Now Simon and Tristan must locate the source of the magical infection before the Dark Council declares Tristan a dark mage, destroys the werewolves, and shatters the fragile peace in the supernatural community.

Join the Montague and Strong Detective Agency while they are hunted and chased. All while trying to uncover the identity of their unseen enemy before it’s too late!

Blood Is Thicker

What does a vampire fear more than sunlight? The Cazadoras Sangrientas- Blood Hunters.
Michiko Nakatomi has led the Dark Council for over a century, maintaining the uneasy truce between humanity and the supernatural. But when an ancient enemy returns the delicate balance is shattered and vampires start dying.

Now, Michiko must fight for her life and the survival of the Council. She has no one to trust. Her inner circle is destroyed, the Council is on the verge of collapse, and her only hope lies with Simon and Tristan.

It's like a movie based on a good book, but I never got to read the book.

There are some parts of these books are just delightful. There were some parts that really made me laugh. I love Dex. He's really funny. The basic idea for the stories great. I think it has a lot of under developed potential. Overall, it just seems rushed. I really wanted more character development. Simon would be a really cool character but he just comes off a smart ass who constantly uses a deus ex machina to get out of situations. I liked Tristan a lot. I would have been nice to see more of his relationship with Roxanne. The action scenes were hard to follow at times. I think they might look great on screen but for a book it was lacking. I also found the various bits of foreign language tossed in to be annoying. I really wanted more from these books. I give the author bonus points for the GTO. (I grew up with a blue 66) I think there's a lot of potential. It has its entertaining moments. I'm not sure if I'll keep on with the series.

Immortal and Mage

Excellent stories! In story you have lots of mystery, action and plenty of humor! Simon and Monty are partners is a detective agency. Now the last names are Strong and Montague and Simon would like the agency to be with his name first but that is a funny story in itself which you will read about.
Other characters include Karma, Hades, Hel, Dex and a very unique one called Peaches. Simon has a mouthy problem which gets him into trouble but other times he is just funny. Angel Ramirez in the NYSF and he has some issues with both Simon and Monty as where they go there seems to be lots of damage, lol!
I highly recommend this book! I found it captivating and hard to put down! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did because to me you can have an excellent story line but humor seems to help in so many ways to make the story flow and make you realize that life isn’t always serious but is made of of humor and makes it interesting!

You can't get any better than this. A chance to get the first 3 books of Montague and Strong in one bundle to be able to re-read or read for the first time. These guys are my all time favorite odd couple as they fight evil with explosions and bursts of humor. Peaches, Strong's hellhound, is the icing on the cake that makes for a noisey, explosive, fight to the finish. Can't go wrong with this one.

Stronger and Stronger

Grabbed my attention from page 1. Ready to plunge into the next boxed set. Sanchez has imagination, style and an fabulous ability to create a paranormal world that just feels so, well, normal. Love the Easter eggs that I’ve found but I’m still stumped about the St Louis wizard ... Any Help, please?

Meh ...

If you understand his incessant references to other authors’ works, you begin to see him as less of a writer and more of a fanboy. Especially since his characters lack real depth or personalities of their own. Everything in the series seems copied from elsewhere. If you’re bored and don’t mind the juvenile and rushed feel of the series, give it a read.

A fun ride

Simon and Monty, complete opposites that work. Reluctant friends who become closer than brothers. Trouble seems to find them always. They take on the thankless task of saving the world. I enjoyed following them thru adventures, learning about who they are.

A whole lot of fun. Lots of little easter eggs hidden like gems for us nerds to delight in. The story is both preposterous, amazing, absorbing, and gut bustingly funny.

I loved it

I only have one complaint. With the first book I felt as if I had missed something. Like a prequel. Enjoying the series anyway.

No choice left...

must read more! Talk about a cliffhanger! I always feel tricked when a writer does this to me. A sort of cheated feeling. I still buy the next book though.
