Good reader for A1

I write reviews for all the books I read, but, this feels pretty self-explanatory. It's a good enough story. It's about 60 pages, so, it I read it in an hour or two, and could understand it well enough. The story was better than reading a textbook.

Carlota y Javier son un pareja interesante y adorable. Ellos viven juntos y hacen muchas actividades juntos. Pero un día, Carlota encontró un pendiente en su habitación que no fue suyo. Carlota estaba molesta y tuvo un discusión pequeño con Javier. Javier es un buen novio. El pendiente es de la madre de Carlota y no es de un amante.

Acabo de leer este libro y me gusta porque es fácil de entender. Durante el libro yo aprendí tres palabras nuevas. Yo quiero leer más libros de este autora.

This story is perfect for beginners, it's easy to read as the sentences and chapters are short and full of familiar words and phrases. There was some vocabulary I didn't know but there is a handy list at the back if you're unfamiliar with any of the words.

These series of books are perfect with content that is actually interesting. I’ve read through these easily, with the need to look up a few words. For me, this is one of the best ways to reinforce real world words and phrases!

Definitely at the A1 level. Reading books like that is indeed very motivating for students of Spanish. You get the illusion of being able to read in this language, (although, of course, you know what your level of competency really is). Highly recommended.

This was an easy read. I still encountered a few new words, though. Though you can kind of guess the outcome pretty early on, it’s still kind of entertaining. The only thing I didn’t like was that there was no action in chapter one.
