More of a political intrigue with a dash of scifi. A tale of climate change written in the 1960s.
The plot itself is fine even if it does recklessly wander in the middle and many parts are either poorly written or overly poetic, which made some chunks difficult. But the real heart is the great character studies. I enjoyed the time taken to really delve into motivations, exploring the honesty of their actions. Amazing.
Also the hippie lingo and pop culture references were enjoyable. Decent book overall.
