Weeks after hell broke loose in Rotterdam, Daniel "Pitbull" Hunt finally gets a chance to take a vacation. With Tex and Mozart in tow, he jets off to adventures in Canada. When he receives a phone call that plunges him back into his past, he is beyond livid. Anke Fisher's best friend is missing. To make matters worse, the cops around her area are no help. Frustrated and with nowhere else to turn, she puts in a call to Daniel Hunt. But the sexy, stud of a man wants nothing to do with her or her problems. With bullets flying, Anke begins seeping beneath his skin. But Pitbull knows, no matter what happens, he cannot fall for Anke for about to be drawn into a past he's been running from. Those who pull him in will learn, when Pitbull gets angry, things go boom!
This story is about Pitbull a GAG 9-CIRO operative. While on vacation, he is contacted by his office that someone is asking for his help to locate his sister who he hasn't seen in ten years. The story takes off from here. An intense drama, bad guys trying to kill them, lots of mystery and intrigue about what his sister could be involved in and an intense chase to saved lives
Special Forces Operation Alpha GSG 9- CIRO book 3. My favorite book of the series. Pitbull has a past he doesn't discuss at all. But then his past comes back in the form of his supposed missing sister with Anke her bestie at the forefront. As they battle bad guys the craziness gets kicked up a notch. Now add in the hot drama filled chemistry between Pitbull and Anke. And OMG chapter 9 is like no other. Plus the whole team is there. I loved every minute of it.
Every single page had multiple errors. Doesn't anyone proofread their books? I absolutely hate it when you have to re-read sentences to figure out the gist. There were so many grammatical errors, it actually became tedious to finish the book. This is the worst edited book I've read so far and I read a lot.
This could have been such a good story but with all the typos it just took away from the story .The writer gives you a good mystery with two solid characters. The story moves at a good pace and you enjoy the scenes with Pit bull and Snake. This was a good addition to the series but it could have been really good.I think a rewrite should happen, extra eyes are needed.
Anke met Pitbull when her best friend went missing. She discovered him when she went to Claudia 's apartment which had been tossed and found all about Pit. So she called him and he and his team came to help her. When Tex got a ping off her cell phone, Anke and Pit went to find her.
I love the series I really want to give it a higher rating but I can't get past all the typos. I wish the author would get a better editor so she can do justice to characters started by Susan Stoker who is always on point. The story line is great but you have to decipher what the author really means due to the bad editing.
Great story. Well worth the beach time read.... But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get an editor!!! A good story nearly got lost in a minefield of errors. Grammar errors, synonyms, homonyms, police procedural and weaponry errors. This has the potential to be a great series.
This book was great but struggling with translating what the author really meant takes away from the story. The characters, I'm to understand are adults but act teenagerish(pretty sure this is not a word😂) but all in all this was a good story.
However, she ended up into something huge! Anke finally got Pitbull to look for his sister. Not only did they find out what huge trouble his sister was in, but could they find love? An exciting love story!
I liked the book but only gave 3 stars there was so many things spelled wrong a good proof reader would have help. I would have given more stars if not for that
