Death: Been There. Done That.

Life. It is a crazy and confusing journey that can be absolutely overwhelming. There are times of joy, happiness, and celebration mixed with pain, sorrow, anger, and suffering. When we finally feel we have managed to garner control of the chaos, and everything is running smoothly on the road of life... POW! BANG!! BOOM!!! Just like that we are blindsided by some unexpected incident which throws everything into disarray! Those times remind us that we are not in complete control. From these life lessons we learn, but who is our instructor?

August 18th, 2001, Michael Jackson died in a motorcycle wreck. This put everything into proper perspective for him. The only unquestionable certainty in life is death. After straying from his faith, questioning the Christianity he was raised on, he challenged the Creator, "Lord, if you are real...PROVE IT!!!" He did. If you seek Him, you will find Him. And the reward is of ETERNAL proportions!

This book is a very thought provoking read. It starts out, giving us a detailed and interesting look at the author's life. Then it jumps into the experience he had with death. After that are some very interesting points about living a Christian life! I think this book makes an excellent read for readers already living a faith-filled life, or ones that are straddling the fence, so to speak. The author doesn't hold anything back, and the sincerity of his writing shines through!
