I’m sick of this series, the book just before this had an unnecessary scene with a dragon shifter using her powers to make Elizabeth want her and encourage her to preform sexual acts on her just to have her die immediately after…. That scene was not necessary for the storyline it was just traumatic with no trigger warnings ⚠️

Then this book went beyond that with yet another shifter using his powers making Elizabeth desperately need his approval and attention. All the sexual acts & even violence her inflicted on her including breaking her arm without her even noticing the pain because of the effects of his power on her.. it was just gross 🤢

Why must some authors feel the need to write sexual abuse scenes, it brought nothing to the story. I’m so disappointed this series had such great potential I love fantasy books and reverse harem’s but this book was lacking a strong plot that the author just threw in these triggering scenes rather then coming up with something creative.

Sorry but I’m not going to give away any spoilers of any kind because I’m not the type that does that.
So this is all I’m going to say about this book and that is I thought it was totally amazing.
This book basically picks up where the last book leaves off.
I enjoyed the story-building and the world created here, I’m just sad that this was the last book of Elizabeth and her men, but maybe one day we’ll see them all again.
Anyway Ava Mason definitely knows how to hook her readers and take them on an exciting ride.
So yes I most definitely recommend this book to anyone who’s interested in crawling into this story and getting lost within its pages.
But if you haven’t read any of the books before this one then I highly suggest that you do otherwise you’ll get really confused as to who’s who and what’s what.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

What an amazing finale to this awesome series!! I fell in love with Lizzy during book one and then we met all of her guys. There has been lots of drama and action all culminating in the events of this book that wraps all of the threads up rather nicely. I can say that I am really hoping that the author dives back into this word at some point as there are some other characters I would love to know more about. Perfect series for fans of paranormal RH series. I totally loved this one so I give it 5/5 stars.

Great ending

I can't deny part of this was hard to read. I really hate Elias and the domination he exuded over Lizzy. But she and the clan overcame it and the ending was wonderful!

Barely decent enough to finish reading

Elias was terribly and inconsistently written. He was all: obey me, be independent, don't answer my questions, tell me the truth, i want you willing, i like forcing and you fighting. The "almost" sex scene with him was a whiplash of bad writing. But this bad writing is nothing new. The author has struggled with dialog from the very first book. This is an example of how having more people read and edit your stories is a good thing, not a bad thing. Also, getting an English teacher to proofread would be good too.

Other than that, the male clan characters stay consistent enough to like their individual personalities. I'm glad it's over.

Honestly... I'm disappointed. My least favorite book in the series.

***SPOILER-ISH***

Having a main character brainwashed/separated from his/her love interests for over 3/4 of the book was pure torture. And to not have him/her "re-connect" with each one after all the drama went down... WTF?!!

Here's hoping that there'll be a surprise eighth book that reads like one big honeymoon for Elizabeth & her guys because that ending was incredibly unsatisfying.

I loved this series, but I'm giving this one a lower rating because there was too many loose ends. I have a bunch of questions, I need more info about James, the queen, the establishment Elias was working for. And I feel like after 7 books, we should have more than just 1 bonus scene to wrap things up.

Wow this finale held so much tension, anxiety, heartbreak, and triumph, sometimes I had to stop to catch my breath or not throw my phone across the room haha. I won't give anything away but what Lizzie has to deal with and endure is so infuriating and devastating, I don't know how her men don't lose themselves. I know I wanted to shake her and throw some punches for what the Alpha did to her. Ok, no more from me in regards to that! I will say I am happy there is a follow-up novella because I wanted more after the way the story ended. I am so happy the group got their happy ending because they deserve it after what they had to overcome time after time. I thought some guys got the shaft in this book (in terms of onscreen time) but they had gotten a previous book in the series where they got some airtime, but I was hoping they each would somehow with this story. I enjoyed seeing the others in the pack and the potential spinoff characters from this great world. I was kinda thrown for a loop with with some of the things Elias did that had no explanations or resolution. Some things he did didnt make sense, not in line with his character. Same thing sometimes with James was out of left field and was a little too much for me (and that's saying something hahaha). I did enjoy it, but it had a lot of potential to be epic and it kinda fell flat (or were confusing) in places for me. I am intrigued to see what happens with some of the soldiers we got to meet that weren't 100% bad. Maybe they will show up in a future series, who knows?!

In terms of narration, I would give Angela a 4.5 because she did a fabulous job when Lizzie was in her other state that I believed her haha. I thought she did a great job emoting the strain she was causing on the guys with her depiction of them. I thought Elias felt evil in this one after what he was doing and the way Angela portrayed him. Some sexier moments felt too over the top and became kitsch. that is why I wouldn't give her a 5 star for this rendition.

I enjoyed this series from Ava Mason and will definitely be purchasing the 8th book since I don't see it on audio at the moment, because I want to see what happens next 😍 I am also putting the spinoff series on my TBR to check out on my next day off!

I'm giving this one 3.5 stars (not full 4) because honestly in my right mind I can't give it more due to a scene/scenario I am entirely against. I still love the story, please don't get me wrong on that. Not the strongest book out of the bunch. Still love Elizabeth and her guys, however... (the following may be considered spoiler so stop reading if you want at this point.)

So really not into the whole shaming language used during sex scenes and the like. I mean to each their own but to me it is in just bad taste. But where my drop in rating comes from is with a certain scene with a specific character that I won't mention to kind of keep the spoiler at bay, but to me it bordered strongly on rape situation and that is entirely not cool. Yeah one can argue that she was "into it" and into him at that moment, but the problem lies with the fact that she wasn't because she wasn't of her own mind. She had been brainwashed with magic to obey him completely. To me that is in the same club as using drugs or under the influence of other substances. Sorry, obeying and submissing is one thing if you're reading a BDSM book that warns toward shaming and the like, because not all BDSM is like that and should be mutual. But I digress. Back to our story at hand. If both parties were of mutual consent then fine go at it but when one party is "consenting" only because they are brainwashed/drugged/etc... THAT DOES NOT MAKE IT CONSENT! Luckily it doesn't go all the way because her guys come to save her but that doesn't make this little situation any better and honestly ruined the book for me.

I received an ARC of this book, as I have of every other book in this series. It is a nail-biter of a series and this, the final book, is especially tense. I was dying to get my hands on this book, but once I’d read the blurb, I felt like I needed to get myself into the right state of mind to read it. I was afraid it would be too tense and disturbing for me. There is no doubt it was those things, but it was so engrossing and so well-written that it was well worth the discomfort I felt while reading it.

It’s difficult to write a review without revealing spoilers so I will be extra vague to avoid doing that. People are not as they seem. Some people are pure evil. The depth of love and loyalty shown by Elizabeth’s clan is impressive. Elias, the villain in this book, is creepy and disturbing and nightmare-inducing. Luckily, the gore is not excessive, though it is far from non-existent. There are fights and people are killing one another, but really the only time gory scenes are described is when they involve Elias. That’s necessary to understand the depths of depravity in his mind (and his actions). My only complaint? This is the last book! I realize there will be spin-offs with other characters, but I really like the idea of following Elizabeth, Christian, Avery, Hunter, Easton, and James, without all of the stress in the other books. It would be nice to just relax with them.

More of a 3.5 stars than a full 4 stars

I gave it four stars because I was impressed the story came full circle and wrapped up all the plot threads U felt it needed to, but this was not the strongest installment in the series. Elias was a rather "thin" character, who he was working with remained ill-defined, and there were several things I just felt we didn't get explained well enough. (Dose Elizabeth learn how Dex's mind was messed with, or encounter something similar??)

James had a mostly decent arc here, but I think U was a little let down because it was mostly what I expected, but again without the clarity or detail at times I would have liked.

I think some bonus scenes, or a novella for James between the previous story and this one would make a world of difference to my feelings.

That being said, this quick read wraps up the overall arc, answers lingering questions, explains things that happened in earlier stories and provides motives, and perspectives from which to view things that sheds new light and makes things make sense in a while new way.

Can't believe it's over!!

Ava Mason has a way of writing that just sucks you in and leaves you screaming for more. This series just about ripped my heart out. From the very first word in the first book it sucked me in.
Lizzy is my new favorite heroine, and her men are my faves forever. Each one of them brings something special to the table that is unique. And each of them are sexy in their own way. Gosh!! The sexy times in these books almost made my kindle melt.
The only complaint that I have that really isn't a complaint, is that I would have loved the men's point of view as well, but I can see where that would get confusing for the author. We get that though in the last installment.
Definitely, DEFINITELY read this series! It is worth the time and the roller coaster of emotions you will go through.
P.S.- don't look for my review on previous books in the series. I'm terrible about reviewing after ever book.

This book was seriously twisted. I didn’t expect anything that happened to have happened either. My heart ached, I laughed, I nearly cried and felt such anger at times I thought I would burst. Elizabeth has quite the uphill battle ahead of her and with the help of her clan and friends too, how she will overcome her obstacles was a mystery to me, now that I know, read these words carefully, do NOT stop reading the book for hours when it becomes to much emotionally charged because it does get better. Things will get easier, but first it will be achingly hard to continue, you’ll wonder how they could overcome and in the end you might cry and rage (fanatically) some more about how awesomely Ava Mason did in this latest and last book in the Fated Alpha series. I know I did!

I read this as an arc copy.

Wow just wow I was so looking forward to reading this story and I will tell you that I wasn’t disappointed at all. I have followed this series from book 1 and I’ve loved each and every one of them and that’s including this story. I’m not going to give any spoilers this time guys because I know that I won’t be able to do this book any justice so I will let you decide for yourself so read Ava’s blurb and that will give you the gist to this story. I love all of the adventures that Elizabeth and her dragons go through there are some heart stopping moments but Elizabeth and her guys have to fight for what they want, but isn’t that the same in the normal world?. This story is a bit darker than the others but I loved it anyway, a fantastic story a 5 ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

I read the entire series and it was so freaking good. I love this shifter and supernatural world that Ava has created, it is full of intrigue, death, loss, plus finding their mate and so much drama for the Dragon kingdom and the werewolves that, I was on the edge of my seat.
With all the things that happened to the MFC one after the other, loosing her loved ones and pack in one night, then she had to learn about her family legacy, shifting for the first time, learning that Dragons are real and that she was the key to saving them. I really was loosing it at the end there, when her wolf was brained washed by the evil Alpha that destroyed her life and pack.
I was just glad that they end up with a HEA.

oh and the spice in this series is perfectly placed, it adds to the story and it makes sense for each and everyone of the characters involved.

Lizzy kicked butt

Lizzy has a whirlwind roller coaster in this one and I rode it all the way.
Oh the ups and downs with James, either he is on her side of not. Reading between the lines is tough in this one. I don't wanna give out spoilers in this post but just know Elias deserves way worse then what he got. James you daughter man you tore my heart out in book 6.. I am so happy with the way this book has turned out though!

If your reading this review I didn't wanna give away the book but just know it is a ride that you will truly love!

Ava you haven't ever disappointed me with you work and I am a true fan and will continue to read your roller coasters for as long as you dish them out!

OMG. I am so shocked right now.. So much happened. So happy with how everything turned out. I liked James and cannot believe what he was willing to sacrifice. Wow just wow. So many shocking moments. And that ending!!!!! This series was fantastic and the journey that we travelled with all the MC has been amazing. So happy with everything. I wish it wasn't the end. I will definitely need a follow up with what happened at the end. But so happy with how things worked out. Glad he is dead and that they didn't loose to many important people. She stayed mostly loyal to the Queen. I felt that we needed to see her in this book at least once. He was always asking her secrets but that's about it about the Queen.

World's most epic cliffhanger ever!!!!!!!!

I LOVED THIS SERIES!!!!!!! It was a emotional rollercoaster ride but it was the best! I cried my heart stopped at some point during it all an also broke a bit from it but it all ended epicly an beautifully. After I read the 6th book I was about to ask if you'd make or thought of doing Riley's own series and then I finish the 7th book & to my lovely surprise your already doing that and then some with Queen Aria!!!!!

I'm seriously crying right now because I'm so happy! Your book's are just so mind blowing! Now I'm just wondering if Lizzy's & Easton's daughter gets her own series as well because of that cliffhanger!!!

Either way AWESOME work! Loved it!!! Can't wait for the 2 spin-off's!

An almost great ending to a great series !

When I first started this series ,truthfully I was reading it for the dragons ,wolves , hot guys and the reverse harem. But as I finished the first book I realized that there was more to the books than just all the aforementioned . There's mystery , drama , heartbreak and the love between friends . The plot keeps the reader involved , leaves you wanting more . This last book has alot of suspense . There's times where you just hold your breath and think " No way ! It can't be ! " It keeps you guessing up until the last chapter . Unfortunately , the last paragraph in this book was totally unnecessary ! I mean really ?! Read it . You'll see .

Holy moly. I can’t believe that were actually at the end of the series. This has been a world wind of emotions.
I’m going to try an keep this spoiler free as possible.
This book picks up were the last one ends, it was wonderful to see all the things that Lizzy went though in the series. She had some wonderful things happen but she also that some terrible things happen in the end Lizzy was a kick ass female and didn’t let anything keep her down.
There are so many elements to this story, Ava does an amazing job at keeping people interested with her writing style.
I defiantly recommend this book for you all to check out. It’s free with Kindle Unlimited.

Elizabeth and the Rage of Dragons( :: (Parranormal Romance ) (Book 7)

This was as awesome read and story. This time Elizabeth is captured with her clan Eliase want her and uses magic to make compel and obey him. This story shows James betraying her and she is furious..The story takes you in and makes you read to the end, Againn there are some sex scenes mainly donetastefully but only one or two. They belong in the story
Ava Mason did za greatj it,
ob writing this and kept on track with it throughout again there was the odd errors but your able to correct them without it spoiling .
Recommend definitely but feel that it should be aimed at 17+ yr olds

Not sure my heart could take more of this book. It was angsty, dark, gritty and downright terrifying at times. Things seem so bleak to Lizzie when Elias takes over and she is betrayed by James. But she’s gotten the clan out of worse spots right?!

It was tough reading at some points, not gonna lie. But clan is clan and they’ll always have your back. Even if you don’t think so... they’ll make you see it.

A fitting ending to a great series. Can’t wait to see what Ava has in store for us next! I received an ARC of this book.

Excellent end to a fantastic series! I’m sad to see these characters go. From the beginning, I was drawn into their lives, their stories.
This book was definitely an emotional roller coaster. And Elias...I’m so glad that his evil finally came to an end.
I just couldn’t give 5 stars, however, because there were quite a few grammar mistakes that pulled me out of the story. Such a shame, because overall the book was fantastic. Another pass-through by a proofreader would do wonders for this book.

OMG!!! Epic conclusion to series!

How are you supposed to be able to talk or walk after reading this book?!! I’m emotionally wrung out. I was so amped up when the book started and then I had anxiety creeping in wondering how they’d get away and then bammmm! I’m angry and sick to my stomach with Elias but I can’t stop!!! Then wham...bam... a few more times and I’m crying and trying to speed read to get to the end just to have the end hit me upside the head.
Now I want more!!!!
Ava Mason you rock so hard....YOU deserve a crown😘

I was nervous going into this one because I saw a review before I read it that didn't read in a direction I was comfortable with... which after reading it, I get the concern but didn't feel quite the same way about it.

That said, this gets more graphic than the others. This has the biggest struggles yet and it comes with some big pain. But also know it is a HEA and things are going to be ok...

Also, the sigh I sighed when *that* kiss happened..... fingers crossed for more of it in the final book. And yeah for getting some Riley time!

Just the thought of this being the last book makes me sad. Lizzy and her guy's fell into James's trap! What a rat! And the man in charge is the worse. Can Lizzy and her guy's get outta this alive? It's not looking good. BUT I can tell you this is one HOT read! I had to turn my fan on high..
Again Ava brought the heat and didn't disappoint. Great storyline..and of course AWESOME characters. It left me wanting MORE.

This is the last of the series and it was a rollercoaster ride! I could not put it down! Elizabeth is such a great character and I loved all the emotions this book brought! Lots of action and some surprises. Betrayal and love and just about anything in between. So much goes on in this book and a great end!!! We still had lots of steam with the boys and a villain to hate. If you never read a RH book this is the series to read!! Loved it!! I am voluntarily reviewing an arc I received.

Slow

Although I ultimately decided that this final book in the Dates Alpha series was okay, I thought that there were some slow sections that made me lightly scan ahead. Elias does turn out to be a monster in every stretch of the term. There were some loose threads at the end that just seemed to be dangling out, but I suppose those will be cleared up in the next couple of sequel series.

All in all, I still recommend this series.

Epic ending!!!

What an absolute epic ending to an amazing series. Betrayal, psychotic villains, and steamy scenes. The author definitely went to darker places in this book then the rest of the series but it gave the book a great depth. After James betrayal a lot happens (don’t want to spoil the amazingness) but everything tests Lizzy and her guys. A must read and hoping for more, maybe a spin off

Epic

Elizabeth has a wild ride in store for her in this book. From the first page the action started and didn’t let up til the end. This book was at times hard to read because of the stuff that she has to endure. But endure she did coming through it with strength and determination to win. There is a cute little surprise at the end that you are going to love. I’m a little sad to see Lizzy and her guys go but I am happy that she finally got her HEA.
