Slam Dunk Prayers: Prayers from John 17

Rate this book
On His last night on earth before the crucifixion, Jesus opened to the disciples a whole new world of prayer. In John chapters 14-16 they were instructed to pray to the Father in Jesus' name and receive everything they wanted or needed. Then Jesus modeled how this kind of praying would look in John 17.
The Father always heard Jesus and answered His prayers and so we know all the prayers in John chapter 17 got a hearty yes and amen in heaven.
This book looks at the instructions Jesus gave His disciples about prayer and the almost unbelievable promises of what He would do when they prayed in His name. Then, I have rewritten the prayers prayed by Jesus in John 17 into ones we can pray for ourselves and others. As we pray them, we are asking God to give us the things Jesus already made available for us. We can pray these prayers with faith and confidence because we know they are perfect prayers prayed for us by Jesus himself.

That's why I call them Slam Dunk Prayers. We can't miss!

You will see that things Jesus asked the Father for are things that we can greatly benefit from in our lives. However, we need to ask because asking in Jesus' name and receiving by faith are the way we get blessings, directions and resources from heaven.
As you pray the prayers in this book, I pray you are flooded with the blessings and benefits that are stored up in heaven just waiting for you to ask. I also pray you get to have experiences with the Lord that blow your socks off.
Be blessed,
Tom
